Why are Kim Possible, Recess, Gravity Falls, and Wander Over Yonder the only Disney shows that ended that I see threads of every month or two?

Mary Sue is a very eroded concept (It started in parody fan fiction as an annoying original character stealing spotlight from actual characters) so calling a canon character that is present at the core of the premise is very far away from it. It's also used are a negative term, even though not all characters are in business to be weak or flawed or whatever.

Her being a Mary Sue was a gag, though, or at least it started that way. Her parents are a rocket scientist and a brain surgeon, she gets straight As, she's a star of the cheer-leading squad, and she's a world-saving super-commando who owns debts of gratitude all over the world.

That gag gets derailed once the series starts getting into hack high-school drama, though, since that's about her having problems.

The only thing this series was good at was comedy and it spent too much time doing other things.

It's weird, Evil Ron's pretty much the closest I can think of to a canon version of that old cliche in fanfiction where this kind, down on his luck main character suddenly turns into an absurdly powerful and feared psychopath.

Not really. Looking back on it, Kim was only really good at crime fighting, she was a social retard otherwise. She struggled with damn near everything Ron had little to no trouble with, and even then without Ron she wouldn't be able to fight without him. She only seems like like a Mary Sue, but when you actually look at the show in retrospect she's actually a pretty balanced character.

Kim Possible clearly is created as an everygirl self insert for the pubescent girls in the audience. Shes multi-talented, smart, hot, athletic and gets to do tons of cool things. She is easily far more skilled than anyone her age should be and most adults for that matter. If she isn't a Mary Sue, then she is an extremely capable main character, which isn't normal. As I said earlier The Princess Bride is a perfect example of a Mary Sue done right, Westly is extremely intelligent, a god of sword fighting, totally charming,a badboy in the attractive way, extremely knowledgeable about many things and is super handsome. But the film still manages to make him relatable by facing him against a foe that has the ability to challenge him. I would still call him a Mary Sue because hes everything a man should strive to be and a perfect self insert.

Extreme competence does not make someone a Mary Sue, how many times does this need to be said? What makes a Mary Sue is the lack of any sort of conflict whatsoever, with anyone opposing them being unlikable to the point of being hamfisted.
