The fact that we licensed ourselves out for that cartoon.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I liked it, but people assume that it's what really happened. Some of it is. A lot of it got... neutered.

They don't mention that Starfire was her sister's slave (in the /d/ sense), or that she and Robin were bumping uglies from week one (that ended badly), or that my dad needed me for breeding stock and I literally killed him and devoured his essence. They don't mention the death of most of the members of the Doom Patrol, the nastier parts about the HIVE, or the time when Joker came to town... all for the sake of keeping a kid-friendly rating, I know. I was shocked when they hinted at the fact that Slade had been with Terra.

And that's all grating because people assume. Because you have to go over the worst parts. Because you can't let people just... go by the Disneyfied version of events.

On the plus side, people assume that Kori and I are "like sisters", so we can get away with more in public without the press crawling down our throats. Technically, I guess we are. Only if you count the way her sister actually is.

Hard to say, but it's a whole helluva lot. In the show, Starfire, Backfire, and Tamaraneans in general are shown to dwarf Cyborg in strength, and we repeatedly see Cyborg lifting gargantuan loads, once even uprooting and hurling a whole building complex! Granted, the Tamaranean Stronk! scenes are presented in a humorous fashion, but not usually in a cartoonish/gag fashion, and it is shown consistently whenever issues of strength come up in a more casual sense.
