This is, no doubt, the biggest bullshit by Televisa, ever.
This, so called, "Smash Mystery pack" is tremendously overpriced.
$400 pesos for a classic comic + 6 random comics.
What do you "Ñ" guys think about it?

Inb4: Buying comics
Inb4: Not buying them online from American distributors

>$400
The fuck? I noticed them last christmas, but I don't rember them being that expensive.

You should be used to it already, though, comics are incredibly overpriced here.
>>
>>90912697
Only the first appeaerences of Batman and Superman were priced $400. Subsecuently issues cost $300. Wich is still a fucking lot, when a regular comic by televisa is $35 - $40 pesos.
>>
>>90912646
I saw them yesterday. Anyone know what kind of "surprise" comics should i expect buying this?

Because i do like owning the classical numbers.

good stuff Death of the Family is overrated
>>
el guasón
>>
They may be expensive, yet they've got real good quality. The materials in general, the paper and the ink are first class. Even the bag is foiled. This is some first class shit. That's why they only sell them at the snobiest store in México. "Liverpool".
>>
>>90913085
They no longer call him "Guason". He's been Joker for a while now. Yet Bruce Wayne is still Bruno Diaz and Robin is Ricardo Tapia.
>>
>>90914488
And that's fucking bullshit, even in the fucking movies they call him Guasón
>>
>>90912646
Real?
>>
Does the Action Comics #1 have all of the original Action Comics stories, or is it just the Superman story?
>>
>>90914488
>Yet Bruce Wayne is still Bruno Diaz and Robin is Ricardo Tapia.
Only in the cartoons, even the Nolan movies called them by their names
>>
>>90915862
It's got everything. Not just Superman. The same with Detective Comics #27.
>>
>>90912979
>>90912954
That settles it then. I'm buying a couple of these. Price is ok too, it usually the same price as buying a Sandman HC or a Bestseller book by Marvel.

>>90914009
Are you from like, Chiapas or something? Liverpool is not fancy or snobby.
>>
>>90914009

This fucking poorfag, Liverpool is so fucking low class it hurts.

Just buy from Amazon stupid, the other day I got the Rocketeer HC at $5 down from $35 because they have sales every week.

Around $20 bucks actually, dollar has been steadily down since February

The only other department store that is above Liverpool in snobbiness is Palacio de Hierro. Stop trying to pick a fight out of anything.
>>
>>90917248
>>90917181
"Liverpool" has been around since the 1800's and to the Mexican middle class it's as classy as they can get. Same with stores like Sanborns. They're historically "the rich people's stores" Most of the stuff they sell is overpriced while you can find the same article in Walmart -10% of the Liverpool's price.
>>
>>90917850
>>90918034

Both Liverpool and Sanborns are for poorfags. If you dont know/cant afford to know snobbier stores I feel sorry for you and your monetary situation.

Also I dont need the history lesson, I live in Mexico. Those stores are considered low-class man, maybe in the 1800s they were not but I dont see how that helps your argument. If you disagree I think you should go out more. Both cdmx and mty have classier way expensier joints than that by fucking far. I just think you dont know they exist.
>>
>>90917687
How much is that in pounds sterling? Oh, never mind, nearly 17 quid. Cheaper than buying all those issues individually, I suppose. What's the problem here lads?!

Yeah, I've heard of the really expensive hidden department stores of Mexico City, you retard.

Stop trying so hard to fit in.
>>
>>90918034
Liverpool is not classy, at least not in based DF.

And Sanborns is basically a fucking chain of public bathrooms.
>>
>>90918256
No problem, OP is the only one that can't afford these, apparently.
>>
>>90918314
Righty-oh. (Nearly) seventeen quid for seven comics is not fucking over-priced, is it? That's cheap af. I dunno maybe it's a lot of money in Mexico, comparatively...
>>
>>90918538
Not really, as i said here >>90916624 it's within price range.
>>
>>90918653
Oh, okay man.
Do you have any of those crazy over-the-top Mexican comics with loads of sex and violence in them? Forgot what they're called...they did an issue of The Imp devoted to them
>>
>>90918034
>>90918216
Liverpool and Palacio de Hierro are literally for poorfags who want to pretend (and more importantly brag) that they're rich

>>90918786
>over-the-top Mexican comics
Not sure if talking about tijuana bibles or El Libro Vaquero
>>
>>90918882
No, no, not on about Tijuana bibles...they're really lurid adventure comics, I'm sure they still make them, it's a whole genre unto itself. Nice painted covers but b & w inside, cheap paper...not sure if that Imp is still online, will try and find, Daniel Raeburn did it, there were issues devoted to Chris Ware, Daniel Clowes...and the last one was all about these crazy Mexican comics. I don't know why but I have the word "historietas" in my head?
>>
>>90919008
"Historietas" is just the spanish word for comics.
>>
>>90919598
Ah well that'll be why, then...but what I'm thinking of is, as I said, a genre in itself.
>>
>>90914009
>>90914009
I thought Palacio de Hierro was the swanky store.
>>
>>90920054
Apparently there's some kind of illuminati tier overpriced stores for people who are owners of all our air.
>>
>>90920241
Yep, and they're all in Santa Fe

Do people still buy those things? Everytime I go to Oxxo I see them squashed and with dirt
>>
>>90922187
Old fashioned Barber shops and mechanics still buy those, gotta keep the tradition strong.
