I tend to agree with that sentiment, but it's not as much of a problem here because of the way the backgrounds are textured. The characters still pop when they have to.

Penn Zero would be an example of how not to do it, I think. Everything was hard to read.

I mostly agree mainly because every media that's used it looked stiff. SJ, Fosters, Devine Loophole, etc.

I guess the line of action is lost because people have set their priorities on a lack of line art.
