Man, argue all you want, at least this strip means the plot has GOT to move forward this week unless Portia ninjas her way over to the phone before Walt can answer.

My problem isn't that these two are fucking and all the characters that get the spotlight --except for Al and Gustine-- tend to go through alot of design tweaks; it's that Aaron's been *dragging his fucking ass.*

After a shipper-trolling moment with Marx, we get a trail of plot breadcrumbs with Portia's intro, then a bunch of plodding, some signs of the overall divide between pigs/wolves/predators/prey, MORE plodding and now that they're done bumping hairies with each other this phone call better lead somewhere or we've gotten NOTHING from the past 4 months of strips other than a few repeated plot points and bear-boaring moments.

At least the last storyline, as divisive as it was was going somewhere. We were getting Holly backstory or crazy-ass dramatic moments or both and amid the shipper-shitting people would have a few nice arguments of where the plot's going. But here? Other than the relationship, everything that was depicted in Portia's intro has been on a loop.
