The series wasn't terrible, but the creators made a mistake which likely costed the show it's existence.

Robot Jones and his family were voiced by different voice software in the first season. For whatever reason they decided to hire a child voice actor for Jones and then proceeded to re-dub all prior episodes with the actors voice.

Some say it's because the producers didn't want to keep paying for rights to use the software, Or they simply thought making Jones sound like a kid instead of Stephen Hawking would have worked better for ratings.

Whatever the reason, almost everyone dropped the show because of the changes, nobody liked the new voice.

It had a great late 70's-early 80's aesthetic and made a lot of jabs at things from that era, including an episode about the Rubik's cube craze that makes fun of this little abomination.

The show was a literal Family Guy rip off. Right down to having cutaway gags that lead with "Remember the Time I'd..." or a variation of. It kinda felt like how you know how in most shows they have a show that the characters watch? I felt like if they were doing a Family Guy parody, this Crash Canyon show would be that show.
