To all the people wondering about devils and sexes, its basically randomized.

As their masks level up to new colors, their bodys change into new forms, and it could be a female or male form. But for some reason red masks tend to end up male, and blue masks end up female, with the other masks being 50/50 mix.

My own observations. Every time a blue mask shows up its got a female body. Every time a red mask shows up its got a male body.

Whens greens/whites/ebon masked devils show up they have been mixes of male and female.

Even when they shove the mask onto Princess and she transforms through different masks really quick the red masked form is noticably manly and beastly, and when she settle son the blue mask shes a tiny cute grill.

I have to wonder if old Vladok wasn't a cunning bastard. He was definitely aware he was slipping as an Ebon, which is why he went for the power of Allison's Key so avidly.

I suspect he was trying to cheat, and he put a lot of his memories and experience and knowledge and 'stuff' in that pipe-cane of his.

We've seen Princess huffing on that thing, so we know she found it and kept it, but since that one scene she's been keeping it out of sight.

It's very possible that Princess is scheming still, and Allison had better keep an eye on her.

According to him this is still the second act in a five act strucutre (20-30% of the way through). I doubt many webcomic artists plan that meticulously (at least from what I have seen. )

He’s basically exactly the same.

KSBD in another very old story version originally took place in (literal) hell. Allison dies (gets hit by a truck after being given the key in this version) and her soul washes up on the river styx. Oscar is there with another demon buddy, who fishes allison’s soul out of the river with a pole. They discover together that allison has the master key.

Clearly Oscar and his buddy, a fly demon, have been working together for a long time. They are joking and hanging out on the boat they are on, jovially poking at the souls of the damned as they float by. Ten seconds after they determine that they could probably sell Allison off to a powerful demon lord for a shit load of money, Oscar bashes his friend’s head in with a rock, then drags Allison off, whistling to himself.

That’s basically his character. I think it’s remained the same.

Is it weird that I now want more angels to join the group? We've already got three demons now, White Chain is probably feeling kinda lonely.

The super detailed art and the regular splash pages also means that each page is an event in its own right, so the wait between them isn't as big of a deal.
