Mysterious ancient civilization that disappeared with no explanation tier. Magic in the show is based on what's left of it, Elena herself has a magic scepter created by that civilization. There is also a spirit world.

There's only 15 episodes so it hasn't gotten super deep into that stuff, though.

He's in eps 9 and 10. Hasn't appeared since then, but the last five episodes didn't have any magic/spiritual stuff.

1, 9,10 and the Sofia-Elena special. I honestly lie the Zuzo in the special as he appears more like an animal and larger. where in the TV series, he's more cartoony.. The Special was animated by Sofia team where as the tv series is completely different animation team. You'll notice it with slight design changes. Zuzo and Naomi are notable in the differences.

That being said, I saw this episode and I really enjoyed this one more so than the others. Not that others were bad or anything, just that i enjoyed this one a lot.
