This is the fourth part of it. The arc ends in May, but Spoiler is getting a solo spotlight at the end of that month. Based Basil ain't getting an arc yet. The next arc focuses on Jean Paul and Luke.

After that we don't know who gets the central arcs then. Maybe Rebirth (Tim?). Maybe finally based Basil? Tynion has been coy after the Luke/Jean Paul arc.

Truth be told I'm terrified he's gonna heroic sacrifice himself in this arc. Luke already broke the news to him that the parts of his original DNA are barely there.

The solicitations for this arc tease that the League takes out the rest of the team leaving only Cassandra being the only one standing and the late April issue is an entire issue of her fighting the League. Then the solicitation teases possibly another team member dying in said issue that they promise Cassandra's big fight spotlight.

I just got this terrible feeling Basil's gonna do something heroic making Cassandra go apeshit on the League.

Plus really, what can the League do to him? Only, way is if he heroically does something. I don't want based Basil to leave. Him, Cassandra, Tim, and Jean Paul have been the positives for me in this comic.

So, /co/, do you think Cass will stay on the team or join Tim and Steph in getting out of dodge? I think she'll stay, because she's the only one left from the original team that doesn't have an expiration date built in, and she's the one who needs the exposure the most (since Steph has had more titles recently, the first Eternal was much more popular than the second). Plus, I think since Tynion has a boner for making everying as much like 1992-2004 as possible, Cass being Batman's loyal soldier is the closest to that default other than making her Batgirl again.
