So Im only 4 eps in so far, but this show is great.
The highlights
>>Danny is incredibly likable and badass without being a gary stu, his honesty and out look is refreshing
>>Wing is a total badass without being a mary sue
>>The pacing has kept my attention through every scene
>>The side characters have all been interesting and dont hog to much screen time, they make believable in character choices
>>Small things introduced to the plot that could be thrown away are used later, nothing in the writing seems wasted
>>It has genuine moments of classic kung fu movie themes that really set a great vibe
I understand that many folks went into this show expecting one thing, and when those expectations were not met, they looked at everything under the lense of what it wasnt, but those shit reviews do not reflect the quality of this show. 10/10 so far!
