There's going off-model for effect and there's literally every character shifting size and completely changing their proportions for no fucking reason. Look at Gamagoori from KLK for an example of shifting size done right, or at least not done in a jarring fashion. I'm not a fan of the show, and I dislike the animation style from what I saw when the show was being announced, found it to be rather annoying, and it seems to be just a fad more than an actual "thing" I guess.

I'm sure it's not a bad show and I'm sure it's creative, but it's influence seems toxic, the people who I see that watch it state it's smart without any argument of it being so, and they then go on to say it stands up to Miyazaki level genius.

But is it really that "GROUNDBREAKING" that I hear everyone say it is? I mean, I can't judge too harshly, because I watch that silly horsey show, but I at least acknowledge that while it's alright, it's nothing incredible in the end.
