would you read a big two comic by kate beaton?
I would, but I"m into the storytimes of pain, so goodbad is fine with me. Couldn't be worse than hellcat, mockingbird or champions.
What sort of title would work for her?
I'd totally read her Wonder Woman comic.

sure, but only if she writes and draw it.

Kek that's funny your funny

Her stories about just family life or working the oil sands in Canada are also good, so I don't feel she'd be particularly genre limited.
Probably. Is it gonna be closer to Hark a Vagrant and her other superhero comics or is it gonna be a serious thing?
I'd check out both probably.

pretty much this, it'd be either quaint and funny or introspective and surprisingly poignant
problem is she's doing a proper graphic novel
i like kate beaton. i also like drawing that one pony she made

She's pretty funny, but it probably couldn't sustain an entire book. It would fit in as page filler in an anthology or digest book or something.
Fuck yeah I would. KB is a treasure.

If it was written as a totally not serious/ironic comic? Yeah I would. Especially if it was just her writing a bunch of one offs for whatever company she was writing for.
Why is it the halfway decent webcomic artists/writers never get offers?

Okay, what if theyn hired her on to write a compilation of characters? Like every month she'd pick 10 characters then do a page or two joke for each.
I think she could nail that.
