Well that's a problem with writing, not the character, now isn't it.
Right now I can't even expect him to go away because synergy, or even to have the real one in teams in his place (because Marvel's gonna try to use him to sell the crappy X-Men titles), but it still sucks. Hell if they're so into synergy, Marvel could at least bring back Xavier and bring back Laura to her own identity, have them in a book or something.

I have basically no interest in Weapon X, Jean Grey, and Iceman. I must admit I'm a little tempted to read X-Men Blue because of pic related. On the other hand I want the O5 to go away so I wouldn't feel super comfortable supporting the book. I also think Cullen Bunn deserves better to be honest so it would probably be for the best if it got cancelled as soon as possible.

Marvel really needs to consolidate their output, not only do they ship way too many comics, their are too many versions of the same characters. Why are their multiples of Spider-Man, Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Captain Marvel, Wolverine, the X-Men, etc? How is anyone just starting out supposed to know what the hell is going on? The sad fact of the matter is... can you name any canonically alive mutant who is talked about more?
