I still think turning the comic from a series of small, self contained vignettes and story arcs into something with an actual plot and continuity and shit was a bad idea

Considering how slow the plot is and how uninteresting most of the characters are I agree. The main problem with the preboot comic was the erratic and often nonexistent updates. Now I'm just bored out of my mind. There's no humor or sexually interesting hintings of /ss/. It's taking itself too seriously and that's a shame.

We had a backlog, but it got eaten up due to other stuff, unfortunately. With the missed pages these past two weeks though, he's actually made some headway into rebuilding a backlog. Barring any life stuff, should be a steady stream of updates for now.

Also, I've read the thread, and I saw the criticisms, and I won't say they're entirely unwarranted. Van and I love the slice of life stuff too and are eager to get back to that. Andy and Gogo are finally going to cross paths in just a few pages. Once the intro is done, things will be a bit looser. There will still be story arcs, but at least at this point in the game, they won't be as long as the intro.

Maybe if Van is nice to us, he'll have Gogo revert to a tiny form after overexpending energy after a key fight, leaving her temporarily smol yet still just barely taller than Andy. Also, stays small just long enough for her to get used to small clothes, which she suddenly outgrows upon reverting.

I enjoy it, I also enjoy that Van had the balls to actually get Gogo and Andy to hook up. I also like some of the dynamics like how Gogo and Didi are complete mental and physical opposites but beneath the surface they are eerily similar. At its worst its a slice of life featuring a brown amazon and her pet red head. Heres hoping the reboot takes off and Van actually gets his website off the ground

Ya its been addressed that it is what people in universe assume she is, and that she isnt Russian its just how she talks for whatever reason. I think Didi also gives her a bit of lip over proper English not being that hard at some point
