Cyclops beams are inconsistent

Sometimes they are just an impact beam, not that different from being hit by water at suepr high pressure, and other times he can makes his beams bounce, reflect and richochet, like when he plays pool.

He has always been able to hit Emma in Diamond Form, so we known crystal or diamond dont reflect his beams (I think they should have)

I think this is the first time I see someone deflect a Cyclops beam with another beam, not that it bothers me, but Cyclops powers are very inconsistent for such an old character.

They aren't. They can't go back to their own time because "their own time" doesn't exist anymore. The timeline fixed itself, probably erased the event of Beast going back in time from the timeline to accomodate for the time paradox, and left the O5 stranded in the present as just a weird little casualty of fucking around with time-travel.

I don't understand this complaint when literally every X-book for the past few years has introduced new characters.
