Seasons 10-17 weren't as good as the classics, but they still had their gems and even their worst episodes were still almost decent. It was far better than the shitshow known as modern simpsons.

Like what? There are probably some passable episodes in there, but after around season 9 the show just began to deteriorate into a lame, unfunny sludge that didn't seem to understand what made The Simpsons great in the first place. Modern Simpsons is just a continuation of the trend

I usually count season 10 to 13 kinda as the bronze era where most of the episodes are still good but not as good as classic Simpsons.

14 to 16 is plastic era where you have more bad then good episodes per season.

From 17 onwards it's literally unwatchable garbage.
