To everyone who read the issue, haven't you noticed a similarity to the events of the Season 4 of "Ultimate Spider-Man" in this episode?

You know, I kind of dig how hyped this event is getting. Instead of one simple premise, it's literally Cap causing as much chaos as possible.

It's funny cause when the event was announced, I had a hard time buying Hydra as a threat, but as >>90755561 says, the heroes are pulling out the big guns.

I would love if Cap is able to strike the heroes at their low point cause each event has the heroes regroup but Cap knows that heroes usually do that at this point.

The last pre-ResurreXion issue of Uncanny X-Men had Psylocke unilaterally betray Magneto and stab him in the chest because Betsy was a hypocritical douche who was willing to work with Magneto when she needed someone to be a villain wrangler for the latest version of the X-Men wetworks squad to kill people while the Inhumans were genoiciding them, but now that that crisis has passed, Magneto was of no more use to her or the X-Men.

She left him for dead but Exodus had Elixer bring him back from the brink of death. Magneto vowed to go back into hiding rather than running of with Exodus.


My guess is that Magneto finds out about Hydra Cap and cuts a deal with him to help him gas the Inhumans since Magneto still wants revenge on them for killing so many mutants with their death cloud. He'll help kill the Inhumans for Cap and in exchange, mutantkind gets their own private nation state in Hydra USA with Magneto as dictator with him bending to knee to Hydra Cap and not stirring shit up
