I don't think there was a more sadder and depressing episode in cartoon history.
Here I was having a good time till you reminded me of this
Damn you op.
Depends on whether or not cartoon movies count
Where the Wind Blows made me feel like shit, but maybe I just have too much empathy for the naive salt-of-the-earth that the movie's about

They ruined it in later episodes.

Agreed. It has a way of inevitably sucking the joy out of my day.

Luck of the Fryish was better

It was scrapped, but they were kind enough to share the reel with us:

I was more just plain disturbed and frightened by that movie. I mean, I was sad too but a lot of my emotional space was busy with just being scared and disturbed, especially the ending where they sort of float into the sky as they die. Jurassic Bark was pure pathos, on the other hand.

Most of the imagery was abstract symbolism, once you get past that it's literally just a bleak story about an old couple who experience nuclear war.
The part that killed me was whenthey're about to die from radiation poisoning and they put themselves into paper bags before they die. It really depresses me that they were still so kind that they wanted whoever found their bodies to not have to face their corpses. The fact they even had faith that someone would eventually find them is also macabre.

Not even the saddest episode in that show.

those faggots deserved it
>>90740344
Eh, that one isn't the same sort of sad, in my opinion.

DELET THIS RIGHT FUCKING NOW.
THEY DID NOTHING TO DESERVE WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM.
