I hate all baby-based movies and shows. The premise with babies is that everyone universally finds them cute/adorable, good by nature and they are whirlwinds of destruction that everyone tolerates.

There is that, but I think part of the appeal with babies is that they are experiencing every little thing for the very first time, so in their eyes even the most mundane things are fresh and new and mysterious.

There are a lot of works that begin with the main character entering some kind of new world or situation to help introduce the setting to the audience as they learn about it themselves, and a baby is kind of the ultimate form of that.

I actually really love it when people like Disney do this with baby animals and things, even though I kinda hate human babies.
