Bruce and Clark literally pal around off-duty. They've both said that the other one is the only superhero who truly understands him. They're actually friends, rather than comrades-in-arms.

I want to see more of bats and flash. I like their interactions.

Captain America and Tony literally fought each other in canon in a prolonged super hero civil war. Cap and Tony don't even agree with each other on a lot of things and while they may be allies who fought on the same team, they're not the best buds. Best buds don't fight their best bud. PERIOD.

Superman and Batman in canon, have only fought each other, when one or the other has been under mind control. Injustice is non-canon to the main universe, so that doesn't count. Yes, Batman has contingency plans for Supes, but it's mainly in the event if he goes rogue, which is a good idea anyway since Supes may be made a slave of Darkseid or some shit.

Superman and Batman are just overall better friends.

One of the real tragedies of the first Civil War was the death of Cap and Tony. They were pretty fucking gay for each other. There was also that time when Cap was dead and Tony just cried and stared at pics of Cap all day. Then Tony got his brain rebooted to make his character less hated.

Fuck, Civil War really screwed a lot of characters over. I liked the Initiative phase of Marvel.
