What is your favorite ninja turtles thing?
First comics? First cartoon? First movie? The new comics, cartoons, and movies?
I've got a nostalgia for the 1987

The TMNT movie, the first one. It blew my mind because it was actually fairly dark in tone.
Loved the late 80s cartoon though as well just from a kids cartoon standpoint, it doesnt hold up to well though now.
Wasn't really into comics when i was that young but i did have this tpb that had the first half dozen issues or so in it though and i read it alot.

The 2003 cartoon is still pure gold compared to everything else in the franchise. Sorry, 2012 fans.
I basically like the early Mirage comics, the first and third movies and the current cartoon.

When they weren't endlessly talking down to the audience and preaching Captain Planet-tier environmentalist messages, maybe. Which was never/
The art was the only redeeming factor for the Archie book, and even THAT was sketchy when Mitchroney or Allan weren't on the book.

I should pick this up. It looks cartoony.

Even episodes I've not seen, I just like to watch. They're badly plotted and everything, but I just can't get enough of how they draw the city

Yes they were.
Then Ninjara went off to do porn and got replaced by some snow fox skank.

Bollocks my son. There was the fight with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the confrontation with a returned Krang that ended with Bebop & Rocksteady beating the Turtles, Raphael disappearing for a bit then coming back and kicking SHredder's ass solo, the weird future timeline with eyepatch Raphael, the recurring wrestling stories, the Japanese adventure that introduced Ninjara and their trip home from it where they went round the world, etc

I'll always have a soft spot for the 2003 cartoon, well like seasons 1-4 at least. The rest can go fuck itself
It's been years since I've seen the original live action movies so I don't really remember much, so I'll give it to Turtles Forever

Fuck yes. That story was awesome. Loved the part where they fight the shark guy in some swamp dimension/future earth. And the cyborg cat guy was cool too.
