This any good?

If you never read the first series, then it might be okay. If you have read the first series, you would be NOT MUHing through the entire thing
>>90684903
whaaa...?
there are new Lucifer comics coming out??
i completely missed that...
why did Lucifer come back from the void? Did the presence return as well or is Elaine still in charge?
>>90685285
That's disappointing. Is Mazikeen in it?
>>90685146
No just read the mike carey series
>>90685412
I have. Guess I'll pass on this.

>>90685330
>>90685408
>>90685408
Lucifer "couldn't handle the void"
The Presence came back, and is dead for reasons
Elaine gave up on being God almost immediately after the first series ended
Mazikeen is the Queen of Hell
Morpheus apparently still rules the Dreaming
Gabriel (dead in Hellbalzer) is back
Pic related his Lucifer's entire characterization now. For some reason he is now a deceiver and tempter who wants to kill God
>>90685508
>The Presence came back, and is dead for reasons
literally how?
who the fuck is god now?
you're right, i'm already NOT MUHing

>>90685508
Compare to this
>>90685508
>Morpheus apparently still rules the Dreaming
This is fucking sacrilege. How the fuck did DC allow this to happen?
>he is now a deceiver
He literally never once told a lie in the original run. In fact the entire point of the character is that he's different than what people imagine the devil to be.
Fuck's sake.

Funny enough, those are the best Modern-Vertigo numbers. The other books that launched at the same time (Unfollow, Clean Room) get like 5K sales a month, and got at least 18 issues. I don't think DC expects them to be high sellers, and instead looks at trades.
Anyways, where did you get that breakdown per month from?

fuck this earth
if King and Simone weren't liked by people, fans and higher ups, there would be no second season for their books

Morpheus never makes an appearance, but this series explicitly takes place AFTER the end of Lucifer and Sandman, so the fact that these two think that Morpheus rules the Dreaming is bad. Lucifer is also dressed like Constantine to fuck with Gabriel, confirming that Ennis' Hellblazer run did happen. Wasn't Gabriel killed by the First of the Fallen in that though?
>>90685146
I like it
>>90686096
So basically the writer of this never read either the Sandman or OG Lucifer.
Trash.
>>90685921
I really liked unfollow till the dumb ass time skip, now I'm glad it's ending
>>90686216
I'm pretty sure the current volume actually switched writers a few issues ago, though I haven't been reading it so I couldn't tell you if the characterization improved.
This is a legacy story, Lucifer is going to take the place of the Presence, he is already recruiting angels, his son will be the next king of hell
