Red Hood is probably a given with the constant requests from casuals for him. Static could also get in for the same reason though he's trickier because his rights are tied up with Milestone. Spawn, Sub-Zero and Rorschach will probably be the guests. Starfire won a poll awhile back so she might make it in, maybe Constantine as well. We'll probably get either Manta or Mera to tie-in with the Aquaman movie which should probably come out around the same time as the last few DLC characters assuming the release schedule is similar to the previous games. I'm hoping they don't jam Steppenwolf in there because of JL but he's another big possibility because of that. Maybe another character from the CW shows like Vixen or something will make it in too.

I think Darkseid is separate since they only list him as a pre-order bonus and not as part of the DLC packs like how Goro was with MKX. And I'm thinking they'll only do three guests this go around. They seem to be splitting the DLC up in to three sets of three characters and one guest per pack would be a good fit. Unlike with MK WB has something to gain by having actual DC characters as DLC since they can use them to advertise new movies/shows/games and introduce lesser known characters to casuals before using them in something bigger. Like who? Capcom is already tied up with Marvel and haven't been great lately anyway. ArcSys is far too niche for something like a superhero fighter and the same goes for SnK. Namco would be a decent option but they already have too many projects going as it is and it would take fucking forever to come out. Outside of these most other studios that have put out fighters are either dead, much too small to take on a big DC project or they are tied to being exclusive to one console. NRS is the best option for this currently available.

Well duh. The problem with adding BB isn't his popularity, it's that he would be a huge pain in the as to make and animate. They'd have to model and animate a bunch the various animal forms he can turn in to, animate the transformations and do it in such a way that makes him viable as a fighter while also not killing the framerate to load up the various models. He would require way more work than any other character and would not at all be worth the time and effort, especially when they could do Animal Man or Vixen who would function mostly the same only without all the extra work.

It most certainly would. Shapeshifters are difficult as hell to do in a game with 3D models. It's why Shang Tsung in MK9 was limited to only using a couple fighter's movesets per match instead of having access to all of them like in the old days.

That would depend entirely on how they did it. If they were high quality and on the same level as the regular models then very few. They could potentially bullshit it and find some workarounds with lower quality models and less frames but in the end it would be a lot of effort for very little reward. They've already got Robin and Cyborg for the TT fans, they can just throw in Starfire for DLC if they want to give them more since she would be infinitely easier. And again in they really want to do a fighter with animal powers Animal Man and Vixen are much more viable options since AM only transforms his limbs at most and Vixen just gets animal powers and doesn't morph at all.

Brainiac will be defeated, but Batman's side will be either annihilated or almost. Superman then takes Brainiac's tech with Cyborg's assistance and uses it to restore the Regime in a more violent way than the previous one. The surviving members of the Society has to serve Superman to stay alive. This time, there's absolutely nothing in this Earth to stop Superman.
