G1 alone has a shitload of characters and teams.
Then IDW import non-G1 characters like Lockdown, Strika and Tidal Wave, which could potentially lead to more imports.
And let's not forget IDW's own OCs (Nova Prime, Aileron, Velocity etc).
And that's just TF. I don't think 3 ongoings + minis by Roche or whoever would be enough to cover even 1/3 of all that.
Still, at least the continuity is tight, the recent crossovers were fun and there's a lot of bots to kill/permakill, but at the same time lot of wasted potentials too.

Regardless what the plan was, Getaway left them to the DJD. Plus leaving them to the Galactic Council? They hate Megatron. Even without Overlord or the DJD, they would have probably just used the geo-bomb to begin with.
Like I said earlier, I just want to see Thunderclash learning about this, and like the other anon said, Bluestreak and Mainframe. Rodimus is certainly not the best captain but throwing anyone to the wolves is not something he'd do. Thunderclash will take care of that offscreen with some help from obscure characters #1 and #2, Rodimus and the gang (and the people Necrobot rescued) sort of welcomed back, no celebration or anything. It just happens.
Also, remember how the Lost Lighters got so mad at Drift they booed him out and threw a can at him? Now everyone forgot and Drift just shrugged his way to his room.

In MTMTE 21, he tries to escape through Tyrest's portal to Cyberutopia but couldn't pass because it detects guilt or something (Aequitas tech). First Aid finds him and shoots his fucking head off for kiling Ambulon. A little later, some metal tentacles pull Pharma's corpse through the portal. Also, in Lost Light 1, Drift has a vision of the Lost Lighters being attacked by a fleet of Worldsweepers, some Sparkeaters, and Pharma leading the pack. So, he's probably technically not dead, he just hasn't shown back up yet.

He's in Roberts' hands now. It might actually be better. I think Roberts' understands the Machiavellian nature of Prowl's character first established by Roche all those years ago. Prowl's last appearance was in MTMTE 57 where he was left with Fort Max and Red Alert on Luna 1. I'm very curious to see what they do with him next. He was great in Sins of the Wreckers.

Considering the already showed us this with context I'm fine. We've already seen under the helmet to his eyes. Ravage found him unable to deal with his abilities and helped him to focus. He sees and hears everything so that told me the helmet was a sensory deprivation device. His eyes in the annual? That's just a visor to cover his eyes from what we've seen before. He wears layers. Probably the best way for him to avoid sensory overload.

I really wish there had been more to his fight with Max. There could've been a whole issue, hell an entire mini-series, dedicated to Max getting his revenge on Prowl for what happened at G-9.

What I really want to happen is Thunderclash waking up and finding out about leaving them to the DJD. Disgusted at this he leaves in his personal ship with whoever wants to go with them. Getaway tries the "be reasonable" line as everyone is leaving. Then after TC is gone the LL gets into trouble that only the combined might of the people they left to die could help them with. Cut the first issue at Rodimus deciding whether or not he should help them or let them die. Start the second issue at Drift and Megatron convincing him to be the better Autobot and save as many people as he can.

I like purple Rodimus but I don't want him edgy. Goofy Rodimus is better.

There's so much speculation about the knights it's almost headache-inducing. What if the knights turn out to be the abandoned lost light crew presented from another perspective?

Megatronus Prime and Liege Maximo started the war, we know that.

Onyx Prime is definitely in asshole territory, but we can't be sure how much of it is justified given the Nova/Galvatron-led attacks on them.

Alpha Trion is an asshole in the Ironhide spotlight, and helped Galvatron and Nova form a unified Cybertron with all its flaws.

Micronus Prime abandoned his minicons to hang around in Microspace for unknown reasons.

The rest of them, however:

Prima was Nova's leader, but we can't really extrapolate Prima's assholeness from what Nova did.

Nexus Prime allied with Onyx and died...

Solus, Alchemist, Vector, Amalgamous, and Quintus Prime are all unknown quantities.

The Arisen is probably Optimus.

So it's slightly less than 50% who can be considered assholes.

So from reading up on it how does it go in order of creation? It's Primus, then Guiding Hand, followed by Knights, right? Then the first actual transformers were the Titans so the Knights could go off to do something followed by 13 Primes formers made in their likeness?

I don't know about Alpha Trion. He's...complicated. Certainly a much kinder figure in Ironhide's future vision, for whatever that is worth. As for his past endeavors, unless he was responsible for the war between the Thirteen he seems okay. He was trying to make the most out of the crisis and find allies to help him restore order. Galvatron played his part and Nova certainly did too. Alpha Trion left leading the world to others and at least for the bulk of his reign Nova lead Cybertron in peace, even restoring the legendary Crystal City. Unless Alpha Trion had a hand in Nova's corruption then I think enough time had passed that we can lay the blame squarely on Nova's shoulders.
