Oh I saw this yesterday. I really liked it, but, no offense, it feels like you tried to hard to use big/complex words and it ends up coming off kinda pretentious.

For example this excerpt "Would you like to discuss what is demonstrably troubling you?", would read better without the word "demonstrably", and also sound more in character. Most of the vocabulary was good as well as complex but sometimes it seemed like you were forcing big words in to the story. Only other example of that I can think of after skimming it again is using the word "copacetic". Maybe I'm just dumb but I hadn't seen this word before I read your fic.
That said I hope this doesn't sound too harsh, because I really liked your writing and would definitely read more if you ever made any.

Same here. I talked it up plenty in these threads in the month leading up to S2 premier. The biggest hint was Keith being so vocal about abandoning her to the Galra.

People saw that and thought "Wow, Keith doesn't give a fuck about Allura, end of story." I saw the beginnings of an obvious long term character arc. Keith being so quick to write off Allura is a starting point that obviously wasn't going to end there, and will almost certainly be looked back on and paralleled eventually. Their interaction during S2 only makes me more certain that the show is going to keep putting those two together and keep that ball rolling until that moment circles back around.

That said, I'm still not sure if it will ever be truly romantic. Just because two characters are connected by plot threads doesn't mean they're bound to end the story making out as the sun sets.
