It's a nice ending.
Considering Genndy's focus this season seems to be more how Jack and Aku reflect each other, with both of them getting depressed of the same old dance over and over with no real end in sight, it's a sensible and bittersweet ending if either revealed that Jack will be a great annoyance and detriment to Aku for all eternity without neither either ever being able to kill the other or they both die.

I disagree, it would be a victory for Aku, the Earth would still be mostly under his rule and he would still be conquering other worlds, and all he has to endure is Jack being an annoyance to him. While Jack had everything destroyed and now has as a reward being stuck in an endless chase with Aku. Jack would definitely be the one on the short end of the stick

Will all the people who Jack has met and assisted during past seasons return to assist however they may can for the final battle? Most of them were victims to Aku's reign of terror.

They'll kill one of her sisters infront of her and in his horror try to atone by keeping her alive and trying to make amends to her.
His guilt will keep mounting as she learns to be his daughter.
In the end he will remain unworthy to take up his ancestors sword and instead she will find the purity within herself to take it up.
From there Jack will find another portal to the past and, bruised, bloodied and on the verge of dying, urge her to return to the past in his stead as she is the only one the sword will accept.

One of the key inspirations for Samurai Jack is Lone Wolf and Cub (there's an episode with them in it as well).

I don't think the daughters of aku will make nine more episodes. Their threat will be all but destroyed by episode 3 at best.

BUT THEN Aku might empower one of the daughters with real dark power, which then makes the daughter half-human and thus truly between two worlds: her life in a struggle between Jack and Aku.
