Nigga, this episode centered around Timmy having a yet another body-swap episode, but with his mom.

The joke is that Timmy was tired as fuck from school, saw that his mom had an easier life and all she did was cook and clean stuff, and wished that he gets to swap bodies with her and have her go to school as him instead.

He learnt that his mom's job is difficult as hell. He had to wash tons of dishes, clean all the rooms, drive through town by crashing through things comedically just to deliver lunch to Dad, and have a demolition race at the mall on shopping trolleys with other mom and grannies for food and clothes.

Meanwhile, his mom improved everyone's lives at school, got better grades, made the bullies into good people, made the cranky fairy-obsessed teacher chill the fuck out.

At the end, Timmy wished to swap his body back, and thus he did. The end.

Fairy Odd Parents is absolutely shit and I agree that it jumped a million sharks, but please realize the context first.

Incorrect. For in case of the incident with Crocker when he had Cosmo and Wanda, Timmy openly stated Crocker had Fairies, but it wasn't until Cosmo EXPOSED himself as one that's when Crocker was fucked. Otherwise the bare essential of Crocker "exposing" Timmy's Fairies many, many times, would have been enough to kiss Timmy's Fairies goodbye.

Similarly the time Crocker actually got Timmy's fairies (ask me why THIS time this didn't "Break da rules") and ONLY when Timmy revealed to his parents those were Fairies is when they are taken away. The parents saw them throughout the show, many people did in fact, but until stated "these creatures are Fairy God Parents" is when the Fairies kick the can back to Fairy World.

It seems very inconsistent of what "triggers" the "Time to kiss your Fairies goodbye" card when it comes to this show. Either it's dependent on if people SEE the Fairies at all (which going back to older episodes where Timmy's parents constantly pointed out all the weird shit that kept occurring from Timmy's presence and other times it's from other people (the bully for example when Timmy wished he was always right and had to "admit" he had Fairies just to get them back, when the bully commented he actually heard the Fairies, just didn't know exactly though) and in general how sensitive it seems to have your Fairies even aware to people in the past. Hell I though the whole point of Remy Buxaplenty losing his Fairy was because he and Timmy knew about each other's Fairy(s) and had to duel just to see who could keep theirs or something like that.

TL:DR; Let just say this show is full of inconsistencies that after 15+ years of airing, people having to question moments like >>90656572 when the Fairies are in the same existence as other characters when 99% of previous plots never did that is reasonable for questions imo. It just shows how much the show chance pass its own lifespawn.

Speaking of which why do people hate Chloe so much? Fairy share scare wasn't really a good introduction but there is plenty of potential there. She works with Timmy very well. Chloe's pretty much a marysue while he's flawed as fuck. More episodes should compare and contrast the two. Like which is wish and dimmsdale daze.

Also if they just want to end the series, they should go out with a bang. Like wishology was supposed to be but make it more mature without making it edgy or cringy. I'd make an episode set in the future where Timmy becomes the bad guy and works for crocker.

A character's introduction is often crucial to how they are perceived for the rest of the series.

Sam had this same problem, in the first few episodes she was fucking up the school lunch menu with her vegan bullshit or generally just being a bitch. Even though she became better as the series progressed, a lot of fans never really were able to look past her initial bad characterization and thus preferred to ship Danny with the niggress or latino chick instead.

Conversely, the two other FOP girls had good introductions. Tootie was highly sympathetic in spite of her flaws, Trixie may have been bitchy but she showed a soft side. As the series went on, Trixie became more of a vapid slut, but still retained a good amount of people willing to ship her with Timmy no matter how much the series pounded you on the head it was a bad idea.

Kitty Katswell and Darcy are also Hartman sidekick girls that were generally entertaining, if flawed in some way, and were thus found to be likable from the get go.

Chloe was a character who the show was trying to sell to the viewer too hard, and it led to backlash. She occupied a slot already covered by other characters, and although Kari put a lot of heart into the character, the poor writing surrounding her and fact she was usurping the roles of Timmy and in some ways Tootie simply led to her being scorned. The writing of the show just sucks now all around, it isn't funny at all, the same characters appear way too fucking much (Crocker and Timmy's Dad mainly), and the plots are just generally uninteresting, even that episode with Vicky that was linked above was basically "Vicky torments kids again, except now Chloe is there".

I really do like chloe as a concept. But I want to see more of her interactions with other characters. I cant believe they didn't make a jealousy episode, where tootie is jealous of chloe and tries to ruin her. Or how Chester and AJ no longer consider timmy a friend because he spends less time with them. Something to really draw out the characters and give them more meaning.
