In this case though they're clearly just using him because they have little faith that wonder women will actually be engaging.

Chris Pine is considered a very charismatic character, so the fact they had to go to such lengths in their supporting cast shows how worried they are.

Wonder Woman will end in history as the first female-lead movie made in nothing but shades of grey.
