Empowered, the best goddamned bondage/cheesecake comic in existence.

That also just happens to be one of the best comics in existence, period.

Empowered has more action and emotional punch than Usagi Yojimbo, even though it's less fury.

Empowered is better than Maus, because it doesn't use historical atrocity as a cynical crutch.

Empowered is better than The Dark Knight Returns, because it has better fights and waaaay more pretty girls, not to mention it's completely original.

Empowered is better than The Boys, because it's written with so much heart and compassion.

Empowered is just as good as The Watchmen...but Empowered isn't over yet.

Yes, Empowered starts off as a rough, godawful bondage sexploitation comic. But a lot of great things have come from humble beginnings.

Read it. You're in for one hell of a ride.
