Other than Starfire and Peej, what are some female characters that are particularly disliked by the female audience?

Emma frost cause of her whorish look

Any Dick Grayson's love interest that is not Babs
>>
>>90611927
I really don't think either of them are. Don't listen to the loud feminists that vilify sex appeal. A lot of women love Power girl and Starfire.

Man people have really been brainwashed by 4chan.
The only people that ever had a problem with Peeg and her boob window were the people at DC themselves.
>>
>>90613757
Well, I'm sure a lot of people think it's stupid fanservice but don't care enough to say anything.
>>
>>90611927

I'm not even sure if it's possible for women to dislike female characters.
>>
>>90613800
But what differentiates Peeg's costume for any other female superhero costume?
>>
>>90611927
What are you talking about, from what I've seen most of Starfire's fanbase is female

i-i like all three of them

Same here, Emma is GOAT
>>
>>90611927
I love both of these and I have to say that I've never heard of this before. Don't believe in everything you read, anon.
>>
>>90611993
Though some will critique her outfits at times, women actually love Emma because she's such a cunt.
>>
>>90613757
This. Apparently a lot of chicks liked Kill la Kipl because it concveyed "I'll wear whatever I damn well please" to them.

Most women don't give two shits about skimpy outfits on female characters.
>>
>>90611927
>>90611993
Starfire is awesome because she's so confident in her sexuality but also so empathetic. PG because she's hot and runs her own business, so so alpha. Emma is a bitch but she's ultimately a good person, you can identify with her flaws while at the same time getting kind of pissed off at her. Basically three great characters to appeal to anybody.
>>
>>90613912
I don't like the quirky teenager ones who are all the rage now, or the ones who don't have an identity aside from being the hero's girlfriend.
>>
>>90615683
>Most women don't give two shits about skimpy outfits on female characters.

I think the issue is that some people assume every criticism of an outfit is the "shouldn't show skin at all" types who are impossible to please when that's really not the case.

Like right now I'm not a fan of the current Wonder Woman costume because the skirt is ugly and the boots are fucking awful but just because I bitch about that area doesn't mean I want to cover it up entirely with pants.
>>
>>90615683
Kill la Kill is just fun
>>
>>90611927
Only fat women and extreme left sjws had a problem.
>>
>>90611927
Where are these females thathate Starfire and Peej.
I love them both
>>
>>90615683
Most women don't mind skimpy outfits that match a character's personality and if they're drawn more having fun/doing things in them and less contorted T&A posing/Ed Benes' talking asses.

Peej literally had the same comics Harley Quinn is having now, and also had a shitload of non-comic reading, out of context image sharing fangirls.
>>
>>90617293
I like how this page gets worse as time moves on. All that shit is irrelevant as fuck right now which proves none of it was that important to the experience of normal people.

Maybe a minority of them.
>>
>>90615683
A lot of chicks liked PSG too! And Bayonetta and Dead or Alive for that matter. Most I have seen bitching about that kinda shit are the Tumblr fags, Anita, Arron Diaz, etc.
>>
>>90617293
Not a Marvel reader so I don't get this and the image is too small to read
>>
>>90620934
I don't really understand the mindset of them, you always hear people say they're insecure or have body issues, but I am insecure and have body issues and I like these characters because it's a form of escapism and makes me feel good. Like that is honestly probably why I like them so much. Maybe I'm the weird one.
>>
>>90615976
PG was DC's Captain Marvel done right before rebranded Captain Marvel was even a thing. Girls loved her.
>>
>>90615683
The only reason I give a shit about skimpy outfits is because I find them boring and basic. I want to see them wear cool armor and genuinely well-designed uniforms (think pre-movie Star-Lord), so leotards and panties are just too plain and unimaginative.
>>
>>90613912
Oh, it's definitely possible.

>>
>>90617293
I can't read this, it's too small.
>>
>>90622100
I think they would say their mindset is that the reason you have body issues is because the women in the comics you escape to have impossibly perfect bodies.

Of course, it is convenient to campaign in defense of people who don't even think they have been wronged, because that means you're answerable to no one but yourself while still appearing virtuous.

I think it's certainly possible to be wronged without knowing it and it's also possible to infringe on personal liberties in the name of justice. I'm not sure the debate about whose values are better is decidable.
>>
>>90623410
In general, or her as Batgirl?
>>
>>90616258

i like you

I'm a guy and i firmly believe people over 12 and under 20 years of age should never be featured in media, ever. Who the fuck likes teenagers? literally who actually does that?
>>
>>90626234
Little kids and ephebophiles I guess
>>
>>90624550
I guess I can see the argument for media being partially responsible. I don't agree with it though, because I would still have body issues even if I never read a comic and didn't own a TV or had never seen a movie because there are attractive people in the real world. Those are the ones that make me insecure, the chicks at work...

Also I don't think this was your intention, since you were talking about what other people might think, but I find the idea that I've been wronged without knowing it to be pretty condescending, I hope nobody actually feels that way about me or people like me.
>>
>>90624606
In general, but especially as current Batgirl

My sister despises Lana Lang and Jean Gray. It has to do with how self absorbed and ME ME ME they tend to be protrayed. These are the only female characters she has ever gone in rants about. She doesn't care about Power Girl or Starfire as far as I know. Maybe I need to ask her next time we talk.
