The only problem is, is that instead of running on organs and blood, the tans run on profit and when they don't get enough profit they die, and then there are other companies trying to kill the other for profit, so being a channel-tan means more savage survival and a harsher struggle to live then for humans
Imagine being a channel-tan and being friends with other channel-tans. it's great and all but in the end you're both trying to outdo the other, which could very well result in one another's death
They just live longer then humans, typically depending on how successful their business is and can even be revived if given the chance
