I don't like 'em. Feels like execs are trying to make them more "mature" and using nostalgia to get butts into seats, so they don't have any of the charm the original movies had that made us enjoy them.

I don't watch them and I wish we'd get original fantasy movies instead of telling the same fairytales over and over again

The only one I really liked was Cinderella for mostly expanding on the Disney story.

Completely fucked up the ending with the stupid "and then Mowgli decided 'fuck humans' and lived out the rest of the days with his jungle buddies" shit.

Even Chuck Jones understood the bittersweetness of Mowgli defeating Sher Khan, but also 'growing out' of the jungle and accepting his role as a Man in the process.
