I think the anime is only for fans of the manga, and the manga is for worldbuilding.

The middle sags when it falls into typical harem anime bullshit. Felt a lot like Love Hina, but then it went back to worldbuilding and exploring characters.

I kinda knew what I was getting when I first started reading the manga, that it's expanded more so since then is a neat little bonus. I doubt the anime is really going to last quite as long, the manga has been updated at a snails pace for some time and there is no rush for Darling/Husband/Master/Sir (kuromine) to actually choose a girl and get on with it already.

How long have you waited for the commission? I was in a really similar situation, not with Morbi but with an artist I looked up to a lot. I understand how shitty it feels, you want closure but you don't want them to blow up on you for nagging them.

I usually give artists especially furry artists about three or four months before I send them a message, because I feel like at that point they can't really argue that it hasn't been an unreasonable amount of time with no update. And just be friendly about it, buffer it with some "I know you've got a busy schedule" or "I don't want to add to your workload unnecessarily so a refund would be fine" kind of shit. Most artists get annoyed when they feel nagged, so just don't make him feel nagged.

I don't keep up with Morbi much outside the comic, has he publicly said that he'd refunded the commisisons he couldn't complete? Becuase if he has you can just say that you noticed you hadn't been refunded and wanted to make sure you understood where your commission stands.

I know anxiety is probably telling you he'll react in the worst possible way but honestly fuck him if he bitches at you over asking. You gave him money to do something and he can either do it or give you your money back so he doesn't have to.
