i agree, a jasper redemption would be really difficult to pull off. if they try to execute it in one or two episodes, they're better off not doing it at all. it would require a lot of time and focus to seem even remotely realistic. however, i feel with jasper's evident self-worth issues combined with the terrible situation she's in, there's basically no route for her character to go other than being helped by steven.

They put a LOT of thought and effort into their lighting in the show, and it really works out most of the time.

Makes fanart kinda hard sometimes even, as we don't always know the true colors of a character if they're only shown in certain light.
We now are certain that Bloople really IS blue skinned, but Yearl was first in a room filled with yellow light and then in a room filled with Pink Light and they were drastically different.
