Why /co/ likes Flash? I can't understand. Symbiotes were created just to be edgy shitty enemies. Flash sucks, Gargan sucks and is better as Scorpion, Brock sucks more now than b4. Sasuke is actually the best Venom for the role of edgy villain.

It was kind of dumb and the worst part of the series.
Carnage summoned Cthon, and to stop him Jubilele, a girl that Carnage had attempted to make his thrall used the Toxin symbiote, absorbed Raze's symbiote, and then turned into a pink angel who used the power of good vibes to banish Cthon from our plane of existence, and then it sorta just disappeared off of her.

Flash is great. In fact, he's arguably better suited for the role of Venom than Eddie.

See, Venom is - or was, anyway - kind of a dark reflection of Spider-man. And Flash - self-loathing, crippled, dealing with alcoholism - is a perfect example of that. But he never lets that keep him down: He still struggles to be a hero, constantly, even though it means he gets his nipples put through the fucking wringer.

That tension, and the fact he's so closely linked to Spiderman (Note how his first story arc has him ALMOST figuring it out, but never quite doing so) makes for a really interesting dynamic. The writers never did anything with it, but it was a fascinating concept.

It's like, Flash thinks Spidey's great. He's someone to aspire to. That's why he's trapped as a kind of dark parody of Spiderman, one that he was addicted to.
