A man of your taste requires a higher grade of storytime. Don't mind that watermark, just as good as download. So just sit back and let me do what I do.
So good, thanks OP

I understand why you are doing it, kinda annoying and I just read the first double page. But I understand why you are doing it. Makes it sloooow though :(

All the pages are repeated for clarity. Each page in this book is a splash. The doubled pages breaks each in half so you can see first the fullview, then the closer details. I'm appreciating it. Thanks, OP.
OP thank you for this, you are a gentleman and a scholar.
I've been a watercolourist for ~20 years and I gotta say this art is fucking mindblowing. I think it might actually be curing my artist's block. I'm saving this whole dump.

And for shits and giggles I'm putting the description up
Alex Ross won the 1999 Eisner Award for Best Painter for his work on this title.
The second in the over-sized prestige-format tabloid collaborations between writer Paul Dini and Painter Alex Ross, Batman: War on Crime was just as successful as its predecessor, and just as beautiful. Beginning with a two-page origin story, this fully painted one-shot was told in story-book format. Like Superman: Peace on Earth, this story pitted its protagonist against seemingly insurmountable odds, in this case the cruel realities of those victimized by violent crime. A dark tale augmented by a bittersweet glimmer of hope, War on Crime was a tragic glimpse into the life of the man behind the mask.
Meh, I'll give it a D minus.
No super villains or wacky antics = no likey
Art was passable.
>>90586603
I don't think I've seen such shit taste on here. Please off yourself.
>>90585247
Alex Ross's Batman looks strong, but does anyone think he should needs to be more cut? Like an Olympic gymnast?
>>90585286
>"In my darkest moments, I'm taunted by the suspicion that my parents' murder was the best thing that ever happened to me."
This is like the first time I've ever seen a Batman writer mention this.
>>90586745
His bulk remind me of his look in New Batman Adventures.
>>90586745
Batman is the power build so he has absolute intimidation factor. Nightwing is the speed build because he's a gymnast. Jason and Damian are the leaner versions of power builds since the legacy of Batman carries over enough fear to let them not have to become gorillas. And if Beyond is canon, Terry starts out with a speed build and develops into the power build.
>>90586745
One of my problems with Batman is his home life is stretched way too thin. Olympic training makes sense when you put Batman into a myth, but I can't but it when you add up the hours in a day. Millionaire playboy trains from sunrise, then on the bat computer, then out all night fighting crime. Jumping from roof top getting in fights, avoiding gun shots.
I'll believe 1-2 hour hardcore workouts in a day.
>>90587272
He probably does polyphasic sleep, so he gets six 20-minute naps per day. Giving him time to prepare for these naps means that it takes up 2 1/2 hours. Work would be 4 hours, socializing another 4, so we're at 10 1/2 hours. Then there's eating, including have to have long lunches or dinners with the upper crust, so now we're at 13 hours. Add in an hour of grooming and playing dress-up for socializing, we're now at 14. If he exercises for two hours, which is logical, we're now at 16, giving him 8 hours to run around as Batman, the equivalent of a full-time job.
>>90586127
>that mirroring of Batman's cowl with Bruce's shadowed face
So fuckin good
>>90586047
That's great
Thanks, OP.
This and Superman: Peace on Earth are both some of the best and most realistic depictions of their respective characters in both art and story. I fucking love them both.
Thanks OP.

Welp, your welcome everyone. Looks like the end of the road for the thread. Currently looking at Alex Ross Marvels 1994, but this will be it for today. Next storytime is some bottom of the barrel level shit. This weekend might do peace on earth, just don't be expecting soon.

Thanks OP
