Luan seems like the kid who was the Lola of the Pre-Lincoln era, always telling on the other girls while trying to act innocent and always saying her own misbehaviour was "Just a Prank". Probably got her humour from spending too much time with her dad because she would always be running to him to tell them when Luna was doing something naughty.

Also, despite being the funny one and arguably the best at looking after Lily, she always comes across as super-antagonistic and mean-spirited in her episodes, so I can see why a ton of folks don't like Luan.

People only seem to remember the bad with Lori, when in reality she's the responsible voice of reason and leader of the siblings. Her only super mean point was in the Driving Lesson episode, and even then, the end of the episode had her going out of her way to fix the damage she had done by actually being a good sister and teaching Leni to drive.

Hell, there was even an episode that showed that the only reason Lori is bossy and strict is because the rest of them are fucking animals who destroy everything they touch. If they calm the fuck down, she's down to have fun too. All she asks for really is a bit of respect from the others. That's all.


tl;dr If you were to put Lori on a scale of who is the meanest/bossiest sibling, she would actually be somewhere in the middle with Lincoln and Luna.

Lily is way more adorable and entertaining than I would've ever expected out of a cartoon.

I think Lana has a lot of potential with her gimmicks having a wide possibility space. She's handy, likes animals, is kinda gross and that all plays into general tomboyishness. That feels like you could do a lot with her character. I feel similarly about Lucy and Lori.

Lola on the other hand is fairly set in her archetype but the VA completely nails her characterisation and delivery. I'd put Leni in that category too (although I think Lola does a better job/has better writing despite Leni being my fave).

Lana is legitimately underrated. She has good jokes, has some cute moments (like when she is saved by Clyde from the tree), and is by far the most helpful sister.

Poor Luna though. She had two episodes focussed on her, and then, aside from her song in the Christmas episode, has done literally nothing. Even in episodes like Suite & Sour where everybody does something, she sits in the background and says maybe one generic line. It seems like her only role in the show now is to just start angrily at Luan after a bad joke because as her room-mate she is is the one most tired of that shit. I kinda see where this is coming from with her playing musical accompaniment to his antics in one of those early episodes. But it didn't hold up.

If I were to choose one he's closest to now, I'd probably choose Lucy. If it weren't such a great gag, I'd have him drop being shocked by Lucy always being next to him, and just have him start expecting her to be there.
