These threads have made me become a darker person.

I have been theorizing on how badly characters will fuck up in S3. I just know Marco is going to do something he will regret. He's going to chase after Star eventually, Jackie might come with or she might give him an ultimatum (and if she comes with, she's prime fodder for Toffee shenanigans). I can easily see Janna making a big mistake or two with Star like developing a crush on her and never speaking a word of it, letting it slowly build up inside as she realizes quickly she'll never get on that boat and it would only make things worse if she told Star.

Moon is going to fuck up big time too, just you wait. It will leave Star heartbroken, lost, confused, or in complete despair. Like if she ends up legitimately getting killed by Toffee.

I'm beginning to feel like putting her in the first episode was the biggest mistake the show ever made. So many people saying they checked out after that one and only came back later. I heard a theory that Alfonzo and Ferguson were someone else's idea (according to wikipedia, there were two other guys who were co-executives of the show with Nefcy in season 1, but in season 2, Nefcy is the sole executive) and that their inclusion was because of executive meddling.

Besides their absence in season 2 and Star seeming to have some dislike of them in the book, it can also be noted that they never showed up in the proto-Star drawings Nefcy made back when Star was just some autistic loli instead of a magical princess. Jackie, Brittney, Oscar, etc were in those drawings, but not Alphonso and Ferguson.

I know my words are useless at best and condescending at worst, but I'm so so sorry. I don't think I could bring myself to read that letter and know that after that moment, there would be no new communication from her ever again.

But I also think her parents want you to read it for a reason. Their daughter's last words were reserved for you. If she is watching from beyond the veil, she would want you to read them too.
