I've never been more pumped for a superhero show in my life. I absolutely loved the pilot and I feel the tone and costume design are some of the best things about it. Ridciulous over the top heroes are widely known and creating a campy vibe with the low budget costumes (power ranges tier) adding to effect. Then right when you think what the show is it pulls a 180 and introduces absolutely insane batshit concepts like weaponized syphilis, henchmen taking out heroes execution style, and taunting children after just killing his father. I was speechless. It's a tone that I hope to replicate in my own work

The fuck are you on about? The first live action costume looked like that because that's what the Tick looked like in the comics, a design that predates the first Timm show by a few years.
