Now for some reason Robin has an ancient vampire dragon bat sleeping inside of him. He can access to part of its power by having monologues inside his mind. The Dragon Vampire Bat would start by saying "I'll devore you" Robin would shout a couple of phrases and the dragon vampire bat would say "Interesting, Ill lend you a bit of my power".

Yes it is deep and meaningfully, but in the same way that Smash Bros Melee is a good fighting game. That is, they threw a bunch of shit together and it ended up working out well.

Maybe adventure time can expand on its plot, while keeping its surreal elements.

Nearly every action cartoon would be drastically improved by becoming shonen anime because it'd allow a lot more violence that is pretty necessary in canon to be shown, more time for character development and back stories/origins since writers wouldn't be worried about solely appealing to ADHD riddled retarded American kids who can't fucking pay attention to anything for more than 10 minutes and are too stupid to retain any memory of actual lore, better animation and better enemies since they'd be forced to stretch them across an arc of episodes instead of monster of the week tier stuff and it allows room for edgier/more adult/darker themes to be explored without writers just getting to dip their toes in and hop back out before parents or censors start whining, BTAS and Teen Titans for example are cartoons that could've greatly benefited from that.

Anyways, my favourite cartoon is either the HBO Spawn series or Batman Beyond. There wouldn't have been much of a difference with Spawn, except it might've had more episodes, Batman Beyond would've been improved in all the ways I've said. So no for Spawn as I would've enjoyed it all the same but Batman Beyond I would've probably liked more.

It really only gets over-hyped because it's a refresher.

When you're 14-15 and all you've grown up watching is western cartoons and shonen where all the characters are inhumanly brave and strong it's really something else to see a character like Shinji who's a lot like you and reacts how most normal teens would in that situation, without the series being completely inaccessible and with still being in the same vein thematically of those shows. I still love it but people really do overhype it.
