ANY MOMENT NOW
AAAANYYY MOMENT NOW
>four years after they started shitting on earth 2 hardcore they finally do something like this
Why couldn't the book just have not been shitty and grimdark since Robinson left to begin with ? was this so hard
> "In another world, if things turned out differently, Thomas Wayne was Batman. You're still the flash, though, Jay."
> "And me? What about me?"
> "You're a faggot, Alan."
> "YOU TAKE THAT BACK"
Even worse. All the character development that Robinson gave was forever shat upon.
I mean I knew that was happening throughout the entire run after him, but this ending just cemented it.
I hope they do.
I hope the old JSA finds their corpses and Todd makes another faggot joke to his dad like this one about his homo E2 self.
Earth-2 was an interesting experiment, but I think it really makes clear that, if the big two want to continue doing series set on other Earths, they desperately need to set up rules of them not just becoming destruction porn because hack writers can't do that shit in the main universe.
I feel a void
So many good things were tken away from us but giving it proper burial didn't satisfy me.
It's sad because the general concept was intriguing and it started out fine. Probably did need a classic JSA in the history of the main universe to work as a foil but also chasing off Robinson pretty much doomed it.
From the start it was billed as a modern re-imaging of the JSA from a writer best known for his Golden Age re-imagingings. It was clearly aimed at JSA fans. Then he left and the new writer ignored all that in favour of more Superman/Batman focus and the writing took a nosedive.
Johns has nothing to do with it.
They weren't the focus of the JSA because it was originally a book for heroes with fanbases but not enough to support a solo. They were members but no JSA fan picks up the book for them, they already have a ton of their own books, focusing E2 on them was pointless. Especially when the first issue established this was a world without the Trinity.
You must be one humongous faggot.
I gave this shit a shot because of Robinson. He didn't disappoint, unfortunately DC fucked him over and this Earth. If you think the run after him was good, suicide is the only option for your shit taste.
During the golden age, heroes that had their own books weren't allowed on the Justice Society. That's why Superman and Batman were only honorary members and Green Lantern and Flash became reserve members. I think they were replaced by Starman and Mister Terrific.
I was actually hoping for a dead Dick, I mean at least he could have been reunited with his Barbara in the afterlife.
Well anyway, so when real Huntress/Helena and real Power Girl/Kara will be back on the main universe???
The work that preceded Abnett's run was really terrible and while he did the best he could with what he had to work with it's still better off being put out of its misery
Earth 2 World's End is one of the worst things I've ever read and I've read shit like Countdown and the Crossing
>Helena calling herself Batman
>Dick being crippled again
Holy fuck anon. Read the Goddamn book. Tony Stark was going to kill his self and Supes talked him out of it. No fucking shit if some one talks you put of suicide you will fucking hug them.
Kill your self. No hug for you Faggit
Black Helena is here to stay. And they're just going to make her a carbon copy of pre-Flashpoint Huntress, only with dark skin.
Power Girl has enough of a following that I can see them bringing back her classic form eventually. But not until after all the rebirth stuff going on with the Superbooks is sorted out.
It's because this could very well be the last time we see them as the center of a book. It took us almost eighty issues (volume 1, World's End, this series) to get to the round table, and they don't even call themselves the Justice Society. They're bonafide Crisis fodder now, and they don't even know it.

The salt over earth 2 shall be eternal.
I liked what I've read of it. Too much killing of primary characters for my taste, tho.
It's over. It's finally over. I feel nothing.
Not that anon and I fully agree that Earth 2: World's end was absolutely awful, not just for worldbuilding, continuity, characters etc but a legitimately very bad comic book by itself
