its interesting. The book uses Chinese culture in an interesting way and its uniquely incorporated into the story and the Superman Mythos. Also unlike Hollywood, Comics don't make money from China, so theres no China Pandering where the Chinese government is portrayed as prefect and can do no wrong.

Its just something different than the usual super hero stuff and the story and characters are well written

YA is a separate imprint, but the HB books just have DC logos on them and when they get talked about seem to be treated more as a separate editorial group than as an imprint. They'll still have lower sales expectations but I imagine DC has to budget for paying the creative teams and such.

Mostly just meant that there's going to be some limit before they have to start cancelling Rebirth books though. Hopefully this is like Batwing where it goes longer than anyone should expect, but we'll see.
