Yes, but only if he wasn't played straight, as in completely serious. I like this dude, but it changed the tone to something akin to a No More Heroes game with his boss fight.

if you're willing to step away from stands as a power, you can just make explosive touch just his own power and be the same sociopathic serial killer who has a killer queen costume to cover up his murders. That or stands are just a psychic manifestation of their desires and he can be an X-Man villain where one of the fifty psychics they have can see Killer Queen
>>90517570
Or Green Arrow. I dunno, just feel like it'd work really well.
>>90517260
Who's Rouge Gallery would he work best in though? My gut instinct is Batman, but Gotham is the last damn place Kira would ever try and live in, what with wanting to have a quiet life and all (although given his desire for that is so he can just murder people in peace, maybe he'd actually fit in a bit more then I first thought…)
>>90517863

I've seen Armstrong suggested as a Wonder Woman villain a couple times in the past. There are a lot of dualities between them that could be interesting.
>Magic vs. Technology (nanomachines, son)
>Femininity vs. Masculinity
>Old world vs. Post truth world
>Truth vs. deception
>Politics geared towards peace (ambassador) vs. politics geared towards war
>Discus vs. college ball
There could even be a little international politics drama Armstrong is an American politician, maybe even some within the Justice League as most are also American while Wonder Woman isn't. I don't have any fleshed out ideas on that, just a thought.
>>90518156

I'd pay cash money to see a "Heartless invade the Marvel Universe" thing
>>90519194
>they're secretly collaborating with one another to kill Superman
>while at the same time, plotting against one another, manipulating heroes, breaking international law, hiring supervillains, etc. to kill the other and for their other own ends
He'd make a great Thor or Dr Strange villain
>>90519194
Is Luthor the democrat in this scenario? I don't see how that'd work at all.
No one has seen the movie, but basically he was a scientist on the verge of solving world hunger who died in a car accident, and his brain was put in a robot body. But because it was the fifties the robot had to be 8 feet tall and about a ton to include everything he needed to move, and his only sensory organs were shitty Television cameras and radio systems. In this new body, he comes to develop ESP and decide that instead of solving world hunger, it would be "Simpler and wiser" to exterminate "the slum people of the world"
>>90519269
There's gonna be a Big Hero 6 world in 3.

>>90519345

>>90519345
Considering Armstrong's the most stereotypical Republican out there and Luthor's all about looking like the smart, moral, man of the people despite being a corrupt plutocrat he'd fit the Democrat in this scenario
For the uninformed, he's basically Xanatos in a giant robot who organizes several people to get killed, so the strongest among them is capable of stopping a genocidal AI that pumps out 50 foot tall terminators that shoot lasers out of every robot orifice of theirs.
He'd be a good dark counter to Ironfist.
>>90517899
Who would he antagonize?
Zedd from the first few episodes he was in (before the soccer moms) was a ruthless badass, imagine that motherfucker with an infinity gauntlet.
>>90517853
Guardians of The Galaxy?
I'd like to see how Batman would defeat Freddy Kreuger if he ever paid a visit to Gotham.
Batman's mental state is so goddamn fucked by paranoia and guilt that Freddy could play his cerebral strings like a piano.
>>90520846
Could Freddy use Scarecrow's hallucinations?
>>90520901
I can imagine Scarecrow being Batman's first suspect. I can imagine Batman hunting Scarecrow down like a man possessed, and then Crane turns out to actually be the one man in Gotham who'd be familiar with the legend of the Springwood Slasher.
>>90520846
>wants to see Batman vs. Freddy
>not Dream of the Endless vs. Freddy
>>90520946
>Batman/Scarecrow Team-Up
I wouldn't mind to see the pair of them fight Freddy for their own reasons.
>>90521036
It turns out Scarecrow is interested in becoming a Freddy-like figure himself. With that kind of power, he could plague an entire city with terrible, horrible nightmares. So he's more interested in finding a way to be the next Freddy Kreuger.
The Invisible Man (Griffin) is a character that I can't believe doesn't get used more. I feel like he's one of the coolest megalomaniacs in all of fiction. Tragic, too. I know there's lots of characters that can /turn/ invisible, but I love how the Invisible Man is /stuck/ invisible.
I feel like he'd make an incredibly cool nemesis for Daredevil since blindness negates the advantages of invisibility, but in return, the Invisible Man would know that Daredevil's blind.
His origin can be lifted right from the H.G. Wells novel. If he's in the Marvel universe, maybe he was inspired, or maybe his experiment was made possible, due to (unwilling?) contributions from Susan Storm.
>>90521345
Or maybe a foe for Captain Britain? There's definitely something irrevocably English about the Invisible Man.
>>90517214
Non-supers that fight bad guys and are considered enemies by heroes are my major turn on.

>These killings are happening near every week
>Have a few short encounters with one wearing an animal mask and him fleeing out of sight
>Finally corner him
>Hero expects a harsh fight with a guy who's butchered dozens of armed men
>Expects either super endurance, speed, and/or strength
>Goes all out
>Surprised to find that he's just a regular human without any powers>Further surprised that there's plenty more like him butchering the gangsters by the hundredsinb4 they're already in comicsYeah, I'm aware, and they're pretty fucking good

>>90520846
Batman actually wrecked Doctor Destiny's shit in Justice League though, it's pretty canon that he's mentally in total control. A better Batman vs. Freddy story would involve Batman working to solve the mystery of Freddy's nocturnal killings and find a way to stop him before he inevitably picks off every teenager in Gotham. Bonus if at some point the Joker and/or Scarecrow come into play.
>>90519464

>>90522103
Something about the Question, in all his faceless inscrutability, deploying all these martial arts moves against the completely emotionless Shape that shrugs off every attack...it all appeals to me very much.
Vic is also someone who philosophizes about everything despite the world of Hub City having drowned in meaningless chaos a long time ago. Seeing him try to puzzle out the Shape and what he does would be great, especially if you get Doc Loomis stepping in to explain that there is no deeper answer: Michael Myers is just evil.
Maybe Tot and Loomis were college roommates or something, too. That'd be fun.

I just want a scene where someone, terrified and panicking, is running away from Michael, hides away somewhere dark, and then out of nowhere, a different figure approaches, a creepy-looking humanoid figure without a face...only for it to defend them against the Shape.

>>90522258
Western Samara is canonically a different character from Sadako. Completely different origin (she just has psychic powers and her mom gets headaches from it so she throws her in a well), looks completely different (she looks like a generic zombie rather than an intimidating ghostly woman) and in general is just a cheap, lazy rip-off that only exists because the writer of the american Ring movies is a talentless hack.

Captain America vs The Major would be an ideological stalemate, and maybe even a physical one, too, if Marvel would decide to makehis cyborg bodycapable of extensive combat. Perfect replacement in the event Marvel gets tired of Red Skull for whatever reason.

>>90522445
Well yeah, not many, if any at all, of the original, classic horror movies are very scary. It's only natural for it to be harder and harder to scare people as time goes on. Still a good movie, mind you, it's just lost it's horror-edge over time. It's very hard for things to stand the test of time as far as horror goes.

>>90522377
The western Ring movies make me sick; I'm not even normally the type to prefer Japanese versions of things over western stuff, but they're just so predictable and lazy. >You're Next especially. I thought it was a comedy at first, then everything tells you it's supposed to be a serious horror movie.
It's a little weird but the black comedy tone is there from start to finish. Honestly, that's my least favorite part of the whole thing. But I still thought it was great. The main character was cool, there's a bit more to the story than you're expecting, the gore and 'action sequences' were well done, etc. It was enjoyable for me. Also had great music.
Especially because you never really get to see him controlling the mutants (which he does with his horn) outside of the one time he sicks Sweetheart on Buddy, and even then, the battle is cut short.

He'd be the one to replace Red Skull if he died or stopped existing.

Quite literally who can deal with these fucks? Even Humanity in 40k is buttfucked by these guys, and if they're dropped into a setting that doesn't have the Emperor constantly monitoring the warp, what stands a chance against them?

Unfortunately, no. Just some vague bits and pieces.

Oh well, shit is complicated and apparently he has a very nice job that keeps him busy as well as an absolute need to keep his identity secret. The fact that his oddly anatomical style has earned him nothing but disdain in the fandom (Who have never even seen a real woman.) yet he keeps on trucking speaks volumes.

Oh yea, the Alien universe has many many comics in general (most are awesome). So does Evil Dead. I was giving horror film recs.

God, I'd love to see this. It'd be interesting to see Darkseid's reaction to Aku essentially holding almost the entirety of Earth and other planets iirc within the palms of his hands as a dictator who's ruled Earth with an iron fist for millennia.
>>90524184
Syndrome is just TOO obvious, although I'd love to see The Incredibles crossover with the Marvel Universe. Specifically, an Incredibles/Fantastic Four team-up would be so great, with Syndrome and Doom teaming up as well.
I'm halfway waiting for Disney to fold the Incredibles over into the MU just for this.Gargoyles too.
>>90523326
So, blue lantern corps?
>>90524184
He would be such a good Batman villain, I could totally see him throw down with Batman and debate whether or not Syndrome is actually doing more potential good than Batman is by formally helping selling his technology while Batman uses his genius to stop random crime.
>>90524184
because he's a literal Supevillain who fights Superheroes. It's way too on the nose. The thread is about villains from other genres and types of stories.

He would be an anti-hero for the first half, at least. And even after his defeat, his ideas would be convincing enough for the protags that he would remain as an anti hero in their memory and as an example of a metaphorical road paved with good intentions

I'd really like to see Marvel or DC fighting the Burning Legion, only to find Sarg was scared shitless of the Old Gods and the Void Lords.
>>90524642
Everyone says that but it's such bullshit. He'd be another psycho with a specific gimmick in an overcrowded rogues gallery. I'd like him as a Question villain, an Aztek Villain (suit lets him see stands, but no one else can, terror and humor ensue) or a Hal Jordan villain (Hal having to do detective work would be good)
>>90522391
I mean he is based HEAVILY off of Doc from back to the future and he was pretty much as generic a mad scientist as you can get.
The depth in Rick comes from the writing, not his character design.
>>90523633
>>>>vilain
>>90518489
Rick could not take guys like Luthor, Doom and Sivana who match his intellect and ruthlessness, but have much more drive and dedication. While his spontaneity and chaotic nature would let him get over on guys like Richards once or twice, they eventually would also be able to stop him. Rick is a mid level antihero/antivillain in the big 2. His intellect is not that high as far as capes go.

>>90524709
It feels odd that someone on the level of sargeras would fear the old gods, especially given how slow they work. It takes ages for old god corruption to seep through a world while the Legion can burn one to a husk in one decisive push. Sargeras himself is probably the highest tier surviving being in Warcraft to boot.
>>90525522
Gurihuri Power Pack
>>90524709

He can't stand the fact that old gods need to be stopped by destroying them, which also fucks over the planets they inhabit. He can't stand that the Void will consume everything. So his solution is destroying EVERYTHING. It doesn't make sense because Sargeras is fucking insane.

>>90526606
Yeah player characters are ridiculous. But there's only so many of them. Different servers don't count. Also, a max level Shaman might be able to hurl lightning and lava, but storm could summon literal hurricane. Max level Mage spells would be babby shit to people like Zatanna and Strange.

Yes, they're awesome. But the point i'm trying to make is; Marvel/DC has their Khadgar/Thrall tier people+hordes of superpowered people+modern day tech and military. Hell even beyond that. The Legion would have to pour EVERYTHING they have into defeating either of these universes, and they'd still come up short.
Their only hope would be to corrupt people and turn them into Legion agents before the invasion.

Though for a more solid story catalyst they would need to have someone from marvel or dc to act as a new medivh - a foot in the door to help Gul'dan and act as a mortal vessel for sargeras.

noo it can't.
absolute bare minimum 'were fucked if anything else goes wrong' for survival is roughly seventy breeding pairs. pairs. a single woman is an instant bottleneck, totally unviable

Early on, street level.
>>90526500
He doesn't really fear the old gods by themselves, they're chump change to the Titans. As in, Y'Shaarj was killed when one of the Titans just reached down and plucked that fucker out of the ground.
Nah, he's afraid their masters, the Void Lords, will eventually get lucky and one of the thousands of Old Gods they scattered throughout the universe will corrupt a nascent Titan world-soul, allowing them to physically enter the world.
Azeroth has one o' them World-Souls, and Sargy doesn't think the defenses the other Titans set up are an acceptable solution. You know, because literally all of them have been subverted.

>Teaches them some important technologies, leaves them with a few Demon overlords and maybe empowers a local leader to be his eyes on each world

>We should stop this invasion. Better blow up the world.
>I should probably do something about that demon. Hold on let me turn into one myself.

>I need to stop Arthas while he is weak, low on troops and cut off from his master. You guys stay back I'll take him one on one.

Each other, just look at Khorn's promotion structure:
>Stab anyone: 1 GBP
>Stab a follower of Nurgle or Tzeentch: 3 GBP
>Stab a follower of Slaanesh: 7 GBP
GBP Are Good Berzerker Points in this case.
If you want to catch Khorn's eye, the best way to do it is to fuck with other chaos gods, and the other Gods are the same.
But if anyone really threatens their Great Game, they team up and kick over their sandcastles really hard.

They would propably be in some event with the gods trying to connect warp with universe in multiverse.
I would do it as a short tale with strong emphasis on "This shit just happened once in space and was soon after covered in secrecy"- kind of storytelling. Would focus on the positive aspects of gods, villain could be Blue Lantern who has "improved" himself after communing with Tzeentch or something like that.
>>90537615
That's...not how Dreadlords work. Dreadlords can disguise themselves as mortals. You can't "become" one.
That being said, aside from that it works.

What's your beef with Dooffins?
>Evil hive mind that spreads throughout the universe
>Draws out negative emotions in creatures
>Can possess unsuspecting victims
>Even small traces of it can drive people mad
Only real drawback is the whole defeated by positive emotion thing. Granted, it has to be positive emotion, focused into lasers and crystals and shit, but it's still a weird weakness. GL villain perhaps?
Swamp Thing villain maybe.
Tell your "sorceror supreme"
to focus instead on his hands
for if he tries to foil her scheme

There will never be a crossover with SMT, because everyone hates the ideal of their favorite character character breaking off into groups of Law, Neutral, and Chaos fighting each other to the death, during the very end of days. I like Rick & Morty but come on now son. Rick had his shit taken away from him by a few crab monsters and by a giant person. He also couldn't fix his "Chronenberg" problem.
He'd definitely be one of the top smartest men, though, but would faults just like any other Super Genius in that setting.
>>90540319
Isn't Mephisto actually cosmicly powerful?
>>90539390
The Burning Legion wouldn't be that big of a deal in DC or Marvel. The Skrulls, Kree, Shiar, etc... would all be able to handle them. Dr Strange and Dr Fate could both handle the Legion.
The Legion are having trouble taking over one planet filled with guys with swords and shields, and despite their "infinite" resources, they are implied to be failing at their task across most if not all universes.
I can see beings like Kil'Jaeden and Archimonde being on a similar level as other big Demon Bads, though. I can easily picture both fitting in with pic related scene.
>>90538778
>Cue pants shitting when they find out Gul'Dan is a mid-level servant at best, moments before Archimonde and Kil'Jaedan show up
Archimonde was killed recently by swords and fireballs.
>>90537615
>>Converts Krona to the fel with promises of knowledge of the universe
Krona shits on the whole Legion. At his peak he could wipe out whole universes at will and beat up Galactus in a cross-over with Marvel before imprisoning the very embodiments of two universes.(Eternity and whoever the DC counterpart was)

>>90542655
Death 13

What if...what if the Thing can become airborne?
>>90542655
Funny Valentine. Superman is used to meeting alternate versions of himself, but Valentine's stand works very, very differently - so Supes is in for a nasty surprise.
Also, Yoshikage Kira, since his explosions bypass durability. inb4 "He can dodge anything, Killer Queen won't touch him!" Yeah, because never in the comics he just allowed his opponent to ineffectually punch him or shoot him in the chest. That's not what Superman does all the time at all.
>>90542655
Cheap Trick is absurdly dangerous, and as far as we know absolutely unbeatable outside of Morioh.

>>90542655

>>90542839

>>90542819
Kars is only unstoppable in the context of Jojo. Since he can't just materialize a Stand at will, he could be killed by anything that could destroy his entire body at once.
>>90542683
The Technarchy are worse. Not sure about DC.
>>90542423
The thing about Krona though is he would most likely work with the Legion because of his goals. He'd end up betraying them in the long run, but initially their goals would intertwine.
Scorpius versus the Guardians of the Galaxy would be so much fun to watch
>>90542871
I doubt it, Superman is used to defeat the Parasite. And he is way faster than the feet.
>>90542976
But stands are crazy mind magic, not biological like mutants. Besides, he'd still be pretty strong. Not top tier, but certainly mid tier.

>>90543685
Aw yeah - I love Geese, and you could make a case for him working as a street-level martial arts counterpart to Dr Doom, considering how many people he's learned from, screwed over and researched over the years.
>>90523563
>>90543625
Well here's the thing, the BETA are a race that required the setting to be wrote around them to function. Here are some factors to consider.
>1. Muvluv does not have abundant remarkable individuals, races, Gods, cosmic beings, super powered beings, magic, super science, etc...
>2. The BETA are having trouble with Earth alone.
>3. The Humans of Marvel or DC Earth alone have more options to take care of these creatures than the muvluv Humans do, who send scantily clad anime girls in mechs to fight them.
4. If the BETA existed in the Marvel or DC universe alongside the rest of the setting to begin with, someone or something probably would have interjected before they reached their current numbers.
The Skrulls, Kree, Reach and Guardians of the Universe/Lantern Corps would be able to handle them. There are also cosmic entities who would take an interest in keeping them from destabilizing too much shit.
Marvel Comics has to deal with Annihilus and the Negative Zone, with Annihilus commanding forces that outnumber the BETA. They are usually trapped in the Negative Zone, but still, I bring them as a frame of reference that such a high number is nothing new to that setting.
Starro of DC also rules over several whole Galaxies in a hive-mind.
