People muddy the waters by making it just about SJW references.

Even if you evaluate the comic on a basic level, it's not very good. The linework is near to non-existent, the dialogue is awkward and forced, America is showing traits she didn't have before, and we're getting a lot of "tell, don't show" storytelling.
