I feel like this one is like 60 percent of the way to being alright. The problem is that a relatively simple idea and joke that could work in maybe 3-4 efficient panels is spread out over 10.

Like first of all do more detailed backgrounds so you don't have to explain what's going on so much.

Then find a way to boil everything she thinks down to about 1/3rd of those words.

You could actually skip the whole north carolina panel by just having her go into the men's bathroom next door.

It is kinda cherrypicking one strip where she was clumsy about how you make a comic work.

This is about two comics higher on her facebook page and it's actually pretty good for what it is. It's not even generic stress and anxiety, and it actually has an effective but novel way of showing background anxiety.

And there's something to be said for taking a common thing, and finding a slightly new way of communicating what it feels like. I'm not thinking 'represent life as a muscly guy', I'm thinking she's actually good with facial expressions and pacing.

Not really. Adding a few lines to a perfectly round face and changing the shape of the mouth is not being "good with facial expressions". And her pacing relies to heavily on the solitary "punchline panel" at the bottom of each strip.

I agree that communicating the mundane in a unique way is a gift and should not be discouraged. But her comics are just five drawings of the same two-color character, no backgrounds, and sparse everything else. I don't think it's a stretch to say they suck ass.
