I can imagine them using the first episode's (LAME) fairytale narration opening as a bookend and have the last few minutes of the final episode end with her concluding the story as an adult. Probably to her future children. Dunno if she'd be on Earth or if she'd be a queen or if Mewni's monarchy would even still exist by the series' end-- I'm guessing Earth because of the general theme of the show and because that makes the Mewni stuff more fantastical for this hypothetical fairytale thing, but yeah.

Also they could show a shot of Star's completed tapestry and her official name.

Except that sounds really saccharine and clichéd and isn't really what I'm into or what I think the show feels like either. Just seems like a possible option.

You know anons I was watching through season 2 again and I noticed something.

There's only one character who to my memory Glossaryck has said "I love you" to throughout the series. Marco (In season two, when Marco was locked in the closet and he was teaching Star to dip down to be specific).

Finally, in the book that just came out there is a section written by Glossaryck the specific part of that section I want to point out is the part in pic related. Notice the phrase at the end 'I love you' followed immediately by a comment in blue ink (Marco's colour in the book) 'Weird'.

I have come to believe that this is a hint towards something that will happen in season 3.

Glossaryck loves Marco for some reason and wrote that part about the Magic High Commission (and how to contact them) specifically for him to refer to in a time of need

This is actually a good idea. Toffee seems to have quite the ego under his seemingly calm front. When Marco called him boring, he visibly reacted. When the fly monster tried to offer him pillows, Toffee got annoyed and said he didn't need them, because he was an adult. He's trying to regain his finger, which he lost in battle and hasn't bee able to regrow. He destroyed the Wand, which gave him that injury. And if the book is looked at, it's possible that he was a Seppo warlord who didn't like the treaty and declared war anyway. Pride seems to be a thing for him.

You know, I like and watch both shows. But with Star's second season, coming back to Steven was... underwhelming.
When Star started, it was just one of those "Eh, I'll watch this random thing for a while and probablly drop it later." But now I'm more invested then I even was in Steven.

Because they continue to develop and don't fall back into status quo? I used to watch SU as well, but characters seemed to constantly lose any development they got, and everything always returned to the status quo. The plot moves at a snail's pace, and is handled way too easily, removing any sense of urgency or threat. It has/had a lot of potential, but I feel like it's been wasted.
