It could be an opportunity to redesign him a little, the metal patches on his skin make him look a little "unfinished". Maybe go through a phase where they revive his body without his personality, but treat it as a short-term problem to be overcome, rather than what the comics did, using it as a moment for "now stop caring about Vision ever again, everyone". And then 25 years later they wonder why they can't sell a Vision comic.

We should be also be seeing Wanda get a more "superhero" type costume over the next 2 movies, as well. The tiara is looking unlikely, but she may at least get the cape.

I think approximately 83% of anonymous Wandafags online are people who are just rooting for her to survive over the immense amount of shit she had heaped on her from 2004 onward:

She was utterly, totally, screwed a few years back, and it's easy to forget that Wanda appearing in the MCU seemed a distant hope till Joss Whedon fought to get her into AoU in the teeth of strong opposition from Ike and the Creative Committee.

Were it not for Joss Whedon, Wanda would likely still be languishing in limbo or worse, she'd be Uncle Ben'd.
Even now, she is an outlier in the comics verse, Robinson's book struggled against editorial restrictions and disinterest (he had to point out to them Wanda is in the movies ffs).

There's an interview with Whedon and Liz Olsen where at the end Joss gets rather emotional and gushes forth his love for Wanda.

Few of us can truly say that they saved their Waifu, but Joss, whatever else you may think of him, did indeed save his Waifu (and Husbando), setting the ground for the based Russo's to continue the revival.

I'm not a fan of Wada's Wanda costumes, the main one looks weird, especially the small cape.

In fact, her Civil War costume is better than Wada's red coat.

The beady Tiara is a pain to draw. Personally I favour something more ornate and metallic, not a basic shape like the old tiara, rather a sculpted design with narrow points along the cheeks, and a slight "M" motif at the top.

She's seen by alot of writers as "pre-feminist", even though she's actually one of the most complex Marvel heroines, and unlike Carol you can't reboot Wanda as a Mary Sue Yaaas Queen type.

The long absence she endured was during a critical period in Marvel, when many of today's characters were introduced; Wanda has not interacted with most of them.

In the MCU the Avengers are portrayed as a (dysfunctional) family, which is what Wanda fit so well into, whereas in the comics the Avengers are now, thanks to Bendis, just a bunch of people who work together. Wanda does not fit in that kind of set-up.

Vision has really suffered from a lot of writers putting real effort into making readers dislike him, either because they interpreted his emotionless phase as "write him like a cruel heartless monster", or because they just didn't like him, or because they were trying to push someone else as a love-interest for Wanda, and make Vision look like the worse option. Until the last few years, most of his remaining fanbase are probably from pre-1989.

Fortunately, the MCU hasn't ruined Vision or Wanda yet.

Vision wants people to stop being afraid of her, and he wants her to be safe.

He was trying to do right by her. The way he tried to explain to her in a gentle way was sweet.

She is aware she is becoming "something else", and she may well have to live a lie to not be feared by humans. She wants to help people, to redeem herself, but people fear her (before others ;-) )

I also think Vision is afraid of Wanda losing her humanity.

The biggest failing of the Avengers in CW was they did not deal with the Wanda or Bucky situations as a team.

Issues 2, 9 (the best Civil War 2 tie-in), 8, and 10 have awesome or great art and strong storytelling.

#6 (France) is a nice one-shot story with some beautiful art.

Joelle Jones, Marco Rudy (both God Tier) Margaret Sauvage, Kei Zama, and (surprisingly) Steve Dillon (in one place for his last jobs) are the best artists.

Pulido (whose issue is also the weakest story) and Del Rey are the weakest artists IMHO.

The headache inducing retcons in the latter part feels overly elaborate and expository.

Robinson does some very good repair work on Wanda, though. He actually doesn't shit on her, as so many before him have.
