In the new 52 she took a nuclear blast to the face & was sickened by the radiation but took virtually no physical damage whatsoever beyond some bruising & scratches.
Clark did wrap his cape around her mid blast which probably negated it somewhat but she still took the initial explosion full on.

The DCEU probably isn't neatly that powerful but she took punches from Doomsday without any scratches or bruising so she Is almost certainly bulletproof.

To be honest I think that's on the lower end of the spectrum in terms of its problems but the fact that they decided to use WWI instead of WWII wrong. But more importantly, it doesn't make a fucking lick of sense. And it's really obvious they made this change because they were afraid of being compared to Captain America. Can't say I blame them based on the footage we've seen so far.

But again, that's probably the least of its problems.

Neither of those had him really give up.

In the latter's case, he was getting old and knew it and decided to work as support for Terry McGuinness, which was pretty important since Terry needed the guidance and help anyway. He never stopped fighting crime; he just fought a little differently.

Setting the movie in WW1 actually works very well in terms of the later in the timeline BvS characterization of Wonder Woman.
