Didn't noticed that one of the daffys was a female

Alright, who are the racers that are caught in Springfield?
>>

lokistand.jpg
1MB, 1564x2106px
Keep up the good work, guys.
>>
>>90446176
>>90445938
That's at least the size of the Statue of Liberty.
>>
>>90446313
>That's at least the size of the Statue of Liberty
And can only be seen by stand users. Maybe during the fight, a regular person could watch how the city is getting destroyed by an invisible force.
>>
Got doc 7 all updated and have my up-to-date offline copy, so I'm good to keep going with the writing when I have time later.

The note order for Springfield is also updated.

The racers the people of Springfield almost steal from still need to be decided. One of them should be White Dragon (from Sym-Bionic Titan), but I don't know who to use for the others.
>>
>>90447057
In the previous thread it was suggested to retire the racers that later join the Fat Controller, of them, the only one that I remember is Thomas Diesel.

Also, when Melusine arrives she should give a warning to the inhabitants of Springfield to cease their actions, they tell her to go away and she proceeds to blast them.
>>
>>90447170
I keep imagining her pulling along the big rhinoceros from James and the Giant Peach.

So how do they take him out? Does he mimic someone doing something stupid? Should we even show how they'd be taken out?
They're not out of the race, but what happens to them here sets them back considerably.
>>
>>90447693
Maybe they just gang up on him, and when he tries to retaliate he starts mimicking some of the less bright denizen of Springfield.

Comic book guy could try to wear one of the racers' disguise and stretch it beyond its capacities.
>>
>>90447785
I'm still debating the implementation.

Maybe when Melusine comes down, White Dragon is already incapacitated and they're in the process of prepping an attack on Diesel when she gives the cease and desist order, then they try to attack him anyway and shit starts getting blasted.
>>
>>90448683
>Wiggum: "Everyone, look!" I He strolls around wearing White dragon's clothes "I'm a hotshot racer!"
>Comic book guy is trying to put on another racer's costume, it clearly doesn't fit "come on, Jeff, you can do it" He manages to put on it but the seams bursts shortly after "hmmm, much better"
>Melusine: "You got to be kidding..." She descents upon the locals, startling them
>Moe: Mayor, think quickly, she may have seen us
>Melusine: Attention citizens, you are interfering with the race of President Nobody
>Quimby: I don't what you are talking, we...are part of the race, right fellows?
>The crowd nods in unison
>Melusine: You think I'm stupid, right?
>A guy in the distant says yes
>Melusine: Only those that registered before the start of the race can participate in it, replacing the racers is not allowed
>Wiggum: "But we are part of the race, wait let me get my ID" He searches through White Dragon's car for his papers and he rips his pants while doing so "oops"
>Melusine groans "I will warn you once, cease immediately or face the consequences"
>Moe: Wait a second, who the hell you think you are to give us orders? I say that we should ignore her and keep driving
>Melusine: You would know who I am if you were actually in the race
>Moe: Huh...Don't listen to her! she is clearly trying to make us lose our positions!
>Melusine: You aren't fooling anyone, bunch of...!
>Quimby: Racers, to your cars!
>The inhabitants of Springfield get in the stolen cars and speed up
>Melusine: This is ridiculous...Don't say I didn't warn you!

Then cue the lightning show
>>
>>90450180
Well alright then, cue the rampaging monster thunder cloud and enter Sam and Max right afterwards seeing the display.

Maybe Max talks about "girl power" and maybe Sam says she's the race's rules lawyer for a reason.

Then they need to meet with Jojo, the circus girl.
>>
>>90450388
I missed the part with Diesel since I wasn't sure how he is going to be captured.

What is Loki using as cannon fodder that Sam and Max are gunning down while talking about Sam's gun?
>>
>>90450724
He's a demon, so maybe he's animating circus attractions like those fortune teller boxes.

He should have some living stuff too.

Are Sam and Max opposed to inflicting civilian casualties?
Because if not then Loki could mind control the citizens after they get blasted.
>>
>>90451349
Sam is the one that constantly prevents Max from indulging in excessive violence (to some degree). Maybe Loki animates the residents of Springfield that were zapped to death.
>>
>>90451793
We already did zombies in Aberdale.

Mind control would work better since it would add moral ambiguity which Sam and Max would dismiss since they already know these people would be attacking them with or without the mind control.
>>
>>90452169
Since Loki is described as a demon prince, he could summon a group of lesser demons as backup before he decides to bring Amerika
>>
>>90452496
Oh, wait a minute, we have The Coachman at the circus.

That means they have a donkey army until Frank Franks him.

Or at least I think he summons donkeys. Need to check again later.
>>
>>90450180
>Willie: “That right! You fly away you cheese eating surrender monkey!”
>Mélusine flies up, then dives back down, now being followed closely by some very dark clouds
>she grips her broomstick closely and leans in to increase her speed, the clouds begin to rumble as a massive horn takes shape, lightning arching off of it
>A huge gust of wind blows over the people of Springfield, they look up and see an enormous cloud rhinoceros thundering its way down towards them following the red haired witch
>Mélusine pulls up right on top of the citizen and speeds down the street, the rhinoceros follows her and stampedes above the people, creating wind gusts the blow out all the windows surrounding them
>Lightning pours from its horn as it begins to smite the audacious people wearing stolen clothes
>Otto’s last words are "I'm riding the lightning!" as he’s struck
>Just as quickly as it came, it departs, leaving the street decimated
>In the distance, Sam puts down a pair of binoculars “Holy handwoven baby baskets carrying an illicit supply of nose powder! Did you see that, little gal pal?”
>Max puts down a telescope “I did, Sam. Is that what they’ve meant by ‘girl power’ all this time? What else have I been missing out on?”

What did Max think 'girl power' meant?
>>
>>90452766
Well, this is the stand he has in the doc:
>The Coachman (Pinocchio)
>「Bad Boys」
>Appearance: A humanoid donkey with brown fur, a black streak of hair on his head, green bandanna around his next, and a raggedy shirt and pants.
>Abilities: When this stand is without an owner and touches someone, accidental or not, that person than "owns" the stand. This stand can be harmed by the user, which more or less forces them into line and to do what they may not want to do. They may only leave their owner if the owner permits them to leave or die.
>「Bad Boys」has excelling digging powers, and can rip through the Earth with ease. His digging prowess can be weakened but shared should a group of animals be nearby.

And there is also the role that was originally suggested for him, not sure if it's relevant
>>
>>90453839
That's not what I remember it doing. I thought it summoned a stampede of donkeys or something.
Or turned things it touches into donkeys.
>>
>>90454007
The suggested role mentions an army of donkey slaves along with his Stand, though it doesn't explain where they came from.
>>
>>90454043
Maybe he has some bullshit magic attraction that turns anyone who visits the circus onto donkeys.

Like a photo booth where people go in and that's the last image there will ever be of that form.
>>
>>90453620
>What did Max think 'girl power' meant?
Being able to wreck a whole town in a fit of anger?
>>
>>90455720
No, before this.

What did he think it meant before he got genderbent by Loki and watched a witch wreck a small town in under a minute.

I want a "I always though it was just a ___" line.
>>
>>90446176
While Ghost Rider is climbing that thing and dodging its attacks, Jiggy could be screaming inside his head and saying "I don't want to die" over and over

>>90455860
The ability to drain a man's money in record time, or something more crass
>>
>>90455421
So will they return to normal once Loki and the Coachman are removed, or there won't be any donkey left after Sam and Max rampage?
>>
>>90457669
Which is funnier?

I'm still not sure where all the donkeys are coming from.
Were they people? Were they inanimate objects? Was it a combination of Loki's magic, The Coachman's stand, and whatever it is Stromboli does?
>>
>>90458057
Maybe they return to normal, but at that point they were all killed during the battle. Or is like Heavy Weather's snails and the transformation is irreversible.

I think Stromboli is just a normal guy, the Coachman is the representative of the WB loyalists.
>>
>>90458527
Well, we can say the transformation is irreversible then.

Then Loki can transform all the donkeys into demon donkeys that walk up right or some stupid shit to make them more dangerous.

Would Frank do the mercy killings for any left over donkeys?
>>
>>90459773
They could remain humanoid (like the one in the Coachman's Stand description), and Loki's magic places them in a frenzy. Punisher may kill any remaining donkey if they attack him, without knowing what they are.
>>
stand
「Don't Worry be Happy」
Ability:gets rid of the targets ability to be worried or cautious about the situation they are in and fills them with a feeling of extreme joy.

not sure what the stats would be
>>
>>90460392
I'd really like some input on what sort of tone we're going for here.
Are we going with brutal ultra violence or just cartoony shenanigans?
Because not knowing what kind of tone we're going with really puts me in a bind going into this.

I'm tempted to say The Coachman just summons donkeys out of nothing and then Loki sticks dammed souls into them to make them smart enough to be dangerous. Saves me the trouble of having to write something like "and the donkeys were all people once and no, there's no real point to that because we never see who they were and it's never important".

Then when the Coachman gets Franked, the donkeys deteriorate, like melting flesh and without willing vessels, there goes Loki's army.
He may be a demon prince, but he's part of the loser faction right now, so he can't just summon flesh from hell without getting unwanted attention.
>>
>>90460728
Sounds exactly like Pocoloco's Stand. Be more original goofball
>>
>>90460776
85% shenanigans 15% Stand battles
>>
>>90460776
I'll say not full-blown ultra violence, since Sam & Max are involved, but there is still a serious part due to involvement of Ghost Rider and Frank.

Just say that the Coachman has been collecting them since the WB fell. Sam and Max don't think too hard about shooting down a horde of freaks that are trying to kill them. Who dies first? Loki or the Coachman?
>>
>>90461570
Coachman dies first, the loss of his army is what prompts Loki to bust out the big mutated stand.
>>
>>90461021
That's not what Pocoloco's stand does at all. In fact, Pocolocos stand doesn't do much of anything except whispering into it's user's ear.
>>
>>90463590
Ok, then the order of events so far is like this?

>Loki unleashes his horde of minion in the town
>Sam and Max charge against them with their DeSoto
>Sam pulls an even bigger revolver, they mow down a good portion of the horde
>Punisher infiltrates the circus and kills Stromboli and the Coachman, sending the remaining army into disarray
>Loki summons Amerika and transform it into a giant abomination
>Ghost Rider joins the fray and climbs the giant Stand
>Sam and Max manage to sneak pass Amerika and ambush Loki

And in between there is the fight between Big Skeleton and Herman, and Aunt May stealing the corpse part.
>>
>>90464057
Before all that, Sam and Max arrive at the town and head for the circus, meet Jojo, she fills them in on the necessary exposition, then all that stuff happens.

Need to have the person who put out the ad for help that brought them here introduced.
>>
>>90464115
I forgor about her, what other role will she play in this section? does she assist against one of the antagonists?
>>
>>90464166
She gets the other performers to rebel against the Coachman, probably gets Herman to fight Big Skeleton to cause a distraction so Sam and Max can get into the circus.
>>
>>90464692
So there is another big fight inside the circus tent. Should Frank kill Stromboli first, then he finishes the Coachman on his way out?

Also, in the previous thread it was hinted that Loki has a real form, should there be small glimpses of it before Loki is pummeled?
>>
>>90464928
His real form is pretty much just his normal costume.

The more damage he takes, the less of an illusion of other clothing he can cast.
>>
>>90465050
There was also a line about a real horn inside one of the horns of his helmet, that his real feet didn't looked human, and Max mentioned that he looked like a toad in the end.
>>
>>90465169
That's just Max being Max with the toad comment since Loki wears a lot of green.
>>
Anyone know anything about Jojo from Jojo's circus? Because right now I'm just thinking of her doing some Deep Toot styled stuff to pass info along to Sam and Max before sneaking them into the circus using a clown car and a clown horn to signal some other performers to cover up their entrance.
>>
Wanted to drop some lines before Sam pulls his gun and they talk about compensating

>Max: Damn, they keep coming! Must be like a chinese apartment back there
>Sam: You know, I do like to mow down endless waves of puny enemies like anyone else, but I'm starting to get pissed off
>Max: Are you in one of those days?
>Sam:Maybe, I dunno, I have much to learn about my body...whatever, time to bring out the big guns!...well, gun

>>90465216
His face did warped each time they hit him, getting darker and bloated each time, and there is also the the fact that his ears seemingly disappeared at one point (though they might have been ripped off with a hit).
>>
>>90453620
>Sam: “Alleged mysticism surrounding feminine forms aside, I think I’ve spotted our contact.” Sam points to a clown car parked in an alleyway
>The duo walk over there and Sam taps on the window, it rolls down a crack and a high pitched feminine voice speaks “You the freelance police?” She looks them up and down “Because you don’t look much like your pictures.”
>Sam: “Indeed we are, miss, and that brings us straight to the point. We’re here to put the kibosh on that tweak Loki.”
>Max: “Yeah, I got a bullet sandwich with his name on it. Just show us where he’s hiding and our mutual problem will soon be resolved.”
>The voice in the car: “Hmm… fine. Get in.” the backdoor opens and Sam and Max exchange looks before squeezing into the clown car

>We pan out and see the car driving down the street up to the big top tent set up
>It gets to one of the outlining tents and stops, then honks twice, then a double honk response comes from somewhere and they proceed into the tent
>The car comes to a stop and driver door opens, a young clown girl steps out with red string hair, white face makeup, a painted red nose, and wearing a painter’s cap and a paint blob patterned outfit
>She opens the back door and both Sam and Max pour out of it in a hurry, gasping for air
>Max is on all fours on the ground breathing deeply “Agh, that was horrible.”
>Sam is double over, leaning on the clown car “It wasn’t any fun for me either, your kicking didn’t help.”
>Max: “It’s not my fault you don’t take an interest in maintaining your body, Sam.”
>Sam: “At least now you have an excuse for your height and swishy personality.”
>Max: “Oh yeah? Well, calling you a bitch would just be correct terminology and you've gone down a cup size.”
Jojo: “Ahem.” Sam and max turn their attention to the clown girl “Welcome to Jojo’s Circus. Or what used to be Jojo’s Circus. I’m Jojo.”
25 characters over the limit.
>>
>>90466896
>A narration box appears reading: ‘Johanna "JoJo" Tickle – Clown’

Who else works in the circus? Who is Jojo the clown girl going to lead Sam and Max to to talk about their situation with?

>>90466539
That's probably from the demon magic trying to hold his fleshy Earth body together.
>>
>>90466933
>Who else works in the circus?
The other characters from her show? There was also another clown in the stand doc, but I don't remember if we used him already.
>>
>>90467015
Problem is I know pretty much nothing about the show.

Anyone Sam and Max see should be downtrodden and depressed as Jojo explains how the circus was somehow bought out from under them by two fat asses who then invited some horned jackass to be the new ringmaster and things have gone to shit ever since.
She should explain how she suspects they're moving drugs or something.

Should Frank already be there undercover or does he not show up until later?

Later on when the minions come flooding in, Jojo's lion should pounce from somewhere and start wrecking some shit to protect her.
>>
>>90467205
>Should Frank already be there undercover or does he not show up until later?
I'll say appear later, he beats one of the clowns allied with Stromboli and take his disguise and make up.
>>
>>90467348
>Frank dressed as a clown
This is one of those times I lean back in my chair and say out loud to myself "this is getting weird".

But OK.

Some from where I am right now, first thing to do is
>Jojo explains the situation and how the circus has been taken over and now used for evil
>Cut to Loki, the Coachman, and Stromboli in a trailer talking about the WB and how times are hard now as the Coachman has massive piles of money in front of him
>The Coachman summons a donkey and Loki infuses it with a dammed soul to turn it into a demon and they talk about how limited Loki's powers are now with Hades in control of the underworld
>They wonder what the president is after and know there's something in the circus that he wants, so they're waiting for him to make a move
>Jojo has Herman fight Big Skeleton to create a distraction, that's a fight that will need to be paced out or not?
>Something needs to happen here to blow Sam and Max's cover, a botched arrest attempt on Loki? Hoards of demon donkeys unleashed
>Guns and shooting, lion pounces, shit happens
>Coachman and Stromboli slink off and Frank shows up and Franks them out, listing their crimes as he does so
>Demon donkeys are now going rogue since the Coachman is no longer alive to control them
>Loki busts out his stand

He once disguised as santa
>Frank dressed as a clown
>"Honk honk, motherfucker"

>Cut to Loki, the Coachman, and Stromboli in a trailer talking about the WB and how times are hard now as the Coachman has massive piles of money in front of him
>Loki: ah, how many years has been since that day? six? seven?
>The coachman gives him the correct answer (I don't remember how many years passed since the fall of the WB)
>Loki: oh yeah, time flies when you're stuck in this realm
>Coachman: And I waited every second since that baleful day for any words from the masters, for your return, oh demon prince
>Loki: Of course you did, and you are getting your reward for your loyalty. isn't this one loyal subject, Stromboli?
>Stromboli:I don't know what you two are mumbling about, but you did helped me to wrest the circus from that goody-two shoes, so I can't complain
>Loki: Ha ha... no, you can't
>Stromboli: And why would I? Look at this, never a circus has been this much lucrative
>>
>>90468132
At least 12 years.

And they're using the circus as a front for human trafficking on top of drug smuggling.

The reason why Loki stuck around as long as he did is he had one last plan to play out, his bid for becoming president, but it didn't pan out, so now he's stuck here, with whatever meager remnants he can scrap up to try to edge in on whatever the current big plot in motion is.

I think it'd be funny if his forces were so lacking because may of them elected to be imprisoned in Superjail and got banished when it blew.
>>
>>90468357
Since his run for presidency failed, he might be gathering forces for a hostile takeover and regain the foothold that the WB had on earth
>>
>>90468960
I think him blaming his loss in the election on the Belle Reve incident would work on at least two levels, one: the majority of the demonic resources potentially at his disposal got banished in that mess.
And two: it gave Nobody the final edge he needed to tip everything in his favor well ahead of time.

After Loki is banished, I kind of want to have a scene of him still trying to come back, only for Killinger to put a stop to it.
>>
>>90469050
Which brings us back to the fact that Loki is building an army from a circus troupe and a bunch of donkey slaves, with near zero demonic reinforcements.

>only for Killinger to put a stop to it
Wasn't he supposed to be "something" else and connected to the Star? Unless he previously assisted the WB and he has expertise in that field.
>>
And more on getting this current plot along tomorrow, maybe, if the thread is still up.

>>90468132
> isn't this one loyal subject, Stromboli?
I'm a bit confused with this line here. I don't think he's asking Stromboli this question since the following line indicates that he isn't aware of the WB shit, meaning he's a new hire.
So is Loki commenting on how Stromboli is loyal as well or is he asking him about how loyal the Coachman is rhetorically?
>>
One more post, then bed.
>>90469309
He can do miraculous things, putting the stopper to a demon prince after he's been banished should be within the realm of his power.
And Loki should see him and be terrified of him to indicate that Killinger is so much more than he lets on.

The question is, where would such a scene happen at?
>>
>>90469360
>where would such a scene happen at?
Maybe at the start of the CN City arc, keeping Killinger's appearance concealed
>>
>>90469331
I think I missed and "a" before loyal. Yeah, he's pointing out how good a bootlicker the Coachman is.

I do like the idea of Loki's real form being a bloated frog-like demon with the green and gold classic costume.

Turning one of tumblr's favorite characters into a hideous monster reminds me of when the Once-ler was casually killed off-screen
>>
>>90471388
Having Killinger be concealed would defeat the purpose of the scene, which is to establish that he's something more.

>>90472958
Oh, that makes sense.

>>90474323
I just hesitate to use the same sort of idea two arcs in a row since the Blue Meanie also became swollen.
>>
>>90474442
Is more like he appears, but is cloaked in some way, hinting that the regular Killinger is just his mortal guise.
>>
>>90474523
I think it'd be better if he doesn't have a "true form" and what you see of Killinger is what he wants you to see, and no matter where or who you are, it's the same form.

He might mention how Loki served his purpose in Killinger's plan withing plans of getting Ghost Rider to depart.

>Killinger: An actor whose role has been already fulfilled and must leave the stage
>Loki: I am pawn of no one! I am Loki, The Lie-Smith!
>Killinger: My fellow companion's vision takes precedence over some petty power struggle of the nether realms, so you are staying here
>Loki: No! I am the one that deceives, I cannot be outplayed!
>Killinger: Sorry, not this time. Good day
>>
>>90475027
I'd put that at the beginning of the next arc, and then Killinger departs Loki, leaving him to his current fate, and reappears or opens his eyes and he's standing next to Mr. Nobody ready to inform him of the racers quickly approaching that next checkpoint.

Being able to bilocate or make a projection of himself sounds better, Nobody could snap his fingers next to him saying "Hello? earth to Henry?" while Killinger is busy talking with Loki.
>>
>>90476300
How about it was Killinger who set Loki up with the circus in the first place. He intentionally leaked it to Loki somehow that there was something in the circus Mr. Nobody needed for his plans.
He set the whole thing up to take Loki out early before he could become an actual threat to the plan.

He's aware there is a weird corpse, but it wasn't his division in the WB that was looking into it, so the idea of a piece of it being in the circus hasn't crossed his mind.

I was talking about Killinger.

Loki could send Big Skeleton to inspect the circus and search for anything useful for their plans, then he encounters Herman.

>Sam taps Max on the head “She’s a clown, dummy, her clown license covers the clown car, that’s common knowledge. I was more inquiring as to why the circus would be named after her.”
>Jojo: “My parents were the former owners and star clowns, they named it after me.”
>A picture of a happy clown family is shown
>Sam: “Oh.”
>Jojo continues “They left most of the business aspect to the former ringleader, one day she disappeared and a man named Stromboli appeared with the legal documents claiming that he now owned the business. We tried to fight this in court, but somehow he had us in an ironclad contract.”
>A picture of a sad clown family is shown with chains around them
>Max: “The legal system strikes again.”
>Jojo: “What’s worse is people who came to see our shows started disappearing. Stromboli brought in some other person who we only know as The Coachman, whenever he visits people seem to disappear.”
>A picture of a crowd in the stands thinning is shown
>Jojo: “Then they started taking the show to more and more remote and isolated locations. It didn’t make sense to any of us since there wasn’t much of an audience in those places, but that’s the first time I saw the horned man.”
>She hands them a picture of Loki meeting with two fat men wearing suits

>Cut to Loki, the Coachman, and Stromboli in a trailer
>Loki: “Oh how far we have fallen since the good old days.” There’s a very large pile of money on the table in front of him “Ah, how many years has been since that day? Six? Seven?”
>“Twelve.” one fat man wearing a redcoat with white hair answers, a narration box appears reading: ‘The Coachman – Circus Owner, Former WB Debt Collector’
>Loki: “Oh yeah, time flies when you're stuck in this realm. I never expected the Red Guy to lose and the WB to fall. What a pity.”
>Coachman: “And I waited every second since that baleful day for any words from the masters, for your return, oh demon prince.”
>Loki: “Of course you did, and you are getting your reward for your loyalty. Isn't this one a loyal subject, Stromboli?”
>A second fat man with a black beard speaks “I don't know what you two are mumbling about, but you did help me to wrest control of this circus from that goody-two shoes, so I can't complain.”
>A narration box appears reading ‘Stromboli – Current Circus Ringmaster’
>Loki: “Ha ha... no, you can't.”
>Stromboli: “And why would I? Look at this, never a circus has been so lucrative.”
>Loki: “Speaking of, Coachman, do you have the next lump of meat?”
>“Oh course I do. Get in here, slave!” the Coachman barks
>A donkey shakily walks in through a hatch in the wall, like a dog door; it’s terrified of the three men
>Loki pats the donkey on the head “What a miserable state of affairs this is. I used to have legions at my command, I could summon them freely from the depths of the underworld, but no more.” Loki begins to glow green again as streams of spectral essence creep up from the ground and collect in his hand forming a burning green blob with an agonized expression “Now I can only summon dammed souls to this realm less the current lord of Hell gets on my case.”
cont.
>>
>>90479667
>The dammed soul writhes in agony, both the Coachman and Stromboli finally turn from their big pile of money to watch it
>Loki continues “And despite all that, I still lingered here, one last card to play, one last scheme of the old regime to see through. I should be sitting at the top of the world right now in an oval office, rebuilding our base of power here, but it just wasn’t meant to be.”
>The dammed soul cries in pain, the donkey wants to run, but something forces it to stay in place
>Loki gets angry: “Somehow, some way, that bastard Nobody stole my role from me. If it weren't for whatever meager forces I still had left getting banished when that stupid prison blew up, he never would’ve been able to pull ahead so early in the polls.”
>There’s a few seconds of silence as Loki blows off his anger and exhales
>“Guess I’ll just have to start over from scratch.” Loki forces the soul into the donkey’s mouth
>The donkey collapses on the floor, twitching and spasming like it’s having s seizure, green flames consume it, ripping away some of its flesh as it reforms and elongates its hind legs. Small horns burst from its forehead, its front hooves crack and twist, forming claws, it cries in pain as its teeth become sharp and grow longer
>Just as quickly as it started it ended. The donkey rises now as a demon, its eyes glowing green
>The Coachman looks on in awe, “No matter how many times I see this transformation, it still never ceases to amaze me. Leave us now, slave.”
>The demon exits the trailer through the door, twisting the knob with it’s newly crafted hands
>Loki is looking out the window of the trailer into the shadows of the tent “There’s something somewhere in this circus that Nobody needs, I may be part of the ‘loser faction’ but I still have informants down there. It’s only a matter of time until I find out what it is.”
>Several pairs of green eyes light up from within the tent

That's where I'm at.

Looks like the Big Guys are still active in hell

Ok, what next? Are Sam & Max chased away from the circus by the horde of freaks?
>>
>>90480650
Next we should probably focus on the infiltrators.
Spider-May and Frank need to be established as here before they start doing things.

Jojo needs to set up the fight between Big Skeleton and Herman to get attention away from where Sam and Max want to go.

I'd also like to do a scene set up, you know, establish the sideshow/curiosity section of the circus so we can at least see the left arm in the background before it gets stolen in the middle of the fight.
>>
>>90480933
I thought Aunt May was supposed to take advantage of the fight between Herman and Big to sneak into the museum of oddities.
>>
>>90481029
What did I say that contradicts that?

I'm saying I'm gonna do some wording so that the Spiderwoman is seen in the background crawling around on the ten ceiling.
>>
>>90481327
Herman could sense Aunt May's presence and tries to stop her, but she manages to get out of his stand's range before he could do anything. The distraction also allows Big Skeleton to attack Herman's trailer with his stand.
>>
>>90481631
No, that's backwards.

Big Skeleton is goaded into opening Herman's trailer by Jojo and is attacked for it.

While that's happening and Herman is distracted, then Aunt May steals the corpse part.
>>
What's Sam and Max's next course of action? I figure while we focus on whatever they're doing, we can set up all the other shit in the background that's about to happen.

I need to re-read what his stand and what Herman's stand can do before I start plotting out their interactions and fight.

It depends on the current order Big Skeleton is functioning under.

>Big Skeleton
>「ENJOY YOURSELF」
>Appearance: A man in a suit with a crescent moon for a head wearing shades.
>Ability: Can cause nearby individuals to become completely obsessed with themselves, through the usage of 「t h e m u s i c」. The psychological change caused by 「t h e m u s i c」 is gradual. The change caused by 「t h e m u s i c」 can only be reversed once the user is killed Those affected by 「t h e m u s i c」 become completely self-absorbed, and shun any form of contact with any individual who is not them, to the point of maiming or killing anyone nearby.

>Herman the Human Mole/Eddy (from The Resident’s Freakshow comic)
>「WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN」 (Arctic Monkeys)
>Appearance: A large piano that, when played, creates living shadows, which may have strange or grotesque deformities on them.
>Ability: When in range of the user, anything casting a shadow at the time will start being pulled underground by it, as though the ground were intangible, or had the consistency of sand. The shadow’s strength is the same as the weight of whatever it is being generated by, so some things sink quicker than others. If they resist, the shadows can become animate and actively try pushing the opponent underground. Shadows can also pull objects underground to serve as obstacles. The stand is only effective if there is any light and a shadow to generate. The user can see through the shadows as well, to determine where the enemy is.
>>
>>90486753
Interesting.

Herman is already like that (anti-social, hateful of other people) from what I gather.
So is he already under the effect of Enjoy Yourself? Or is that just his natural disposition.

Maybe the reason why the circus people haven't outright rebelled yet is because of Big Skeleton's ability.

Meanwhile, Herman's When the Sun Goes Down wouldn't be able to do much to Big Skeleton since he's light weight and can't be suffocated.

It puts them at a stalemate. I guess it's a fight that won't so much conclude as just end when Loki is banished and Big ceases following his orders and becomes benign as he sinks into the dirt.

Also, Big Skeleton is already dead, so saying the effect won't end until the user is killed is stupid. Until he's defeated or cancels the effect would be better.
>>
>>90487070
>So is he already under the effect of Enjoy Yourself? Or is that just his natural disposition
Guy was picked on for being an albino before being taken into the circus. It may worsen Herman's attitude, making him lash out against anyone nearby, friend or foe.
>>
>>90487686
OK, that gives me a pretty good idea.

Jojo tells Sam and Max that ever since Loki came here, everyone has been acting strangely, like they've become a lot more self-absorbed.
She notes Herman in particular was already like that and now he's gotten violent, attacking anyone he sees. So her plan is to let Herman out while Loki's henchman, Big Skeleton is making his rounds and have the two fight, that'll cause a distraction for Sam and Max to launch a sneak attack on Loki.

While all of this is happening we'll see a mad looking clown (Frank) going into the tents and also see someone clinging to the canopy ceiling.
>>
>>90487825
Is there any fighting between Frank and his targets or he just one-shot both fatsos?
>>
>>90488743
Haven't thought that far ahead yet. I generally laser focus in on whatever the current scene is.

Which do you think?
>>
>>90488941
Stromboli has no way to defend himself from someone like Frank while the Coachman has his slaves around, so he could attempt to attack Frank.
>>
>>90489011
So Stromboli gets it first and the Coachman starts sending his slaves into attack mode.

Frank Franked up Sam and Max's plan and got the hoard all riled up.
>>
>>90475027
Was Loki simply banished to hell or trapped in a sealed plane like Red Guy in part 5?
>>
>>90490606
I'd say he was banished, then tried to escape back to Earth, then caught and sealed by Killinger before he could make his way back up topside.
>>
>>90490715
So he is stomped by Ghost Rider, lands in Hell like a meteor, tries to reach the entrance to earth and that's when Killinger appears, erects a barrier or something and tells Loki that he was a pawn of Nobody's plan.
>>
>>90491080
Pretty much.

Somehow I want Loki to realize that it was Killinger who leaked the information about the circus to him and that he really was just a pawn playing a role the whole time.
But I don't think Killinger would gloat to Loki and reveal the entire plan that lead up to his banishment like that.
>>
>>90491339
Maybe when he claims that he can't be outplayed and Killinger says that he's wrong Loki realizes that he was played like a fiddle, goes berserk and tries fruitlessly to smash Killinger's barrier.
>>
>>90491568
And then he just leaves him there like an angry child put in time out.

Well, I don't see myself making any more progress tonight, but the idle discussion is good since it'll make it easier to write it out when I get back to it.
>>
Are we gonna use the idea that Sam and Max uses Melody against Amerika? because they haven't used it until this point, unless Max pullings things seemingly from his butt was Melody in action.

>We cut to Jojo creeping along through the Hall of Curiosities
>We see the angle from above, from the perspective of a figure clinging to the ceiling of the tent, watching her as she passes by a fortune teller machine, a mummified left arm in a glass case, a cow with extra legs, the usual circus stuff
>As she moves swiftly we get a close up of her face and then it goes white signifying a flashback

>Jojo is still with Sam and Max, she says “Ever since that man arrived, everyone at the circus has gotten meaner, like they’re obsessed with their own reflections. But Herman the Human Mole was like that even before they came.” It flashes to an image of a man’s back, sitting at a piano in a dark room before re-focusing on Jojo “He’s gotten violent since then, he attacks anyone he sees. Every evening one of Loki’s goons walks around the circus, checking to make sure everyone is still busy looking at themselves.” Flashes to a figure wearing a small hat casting a shadow walking into the tents “I’m going to get Herman to see him, while they make a scene, you head to the trailers and find Loki.”

>Flashes back to Jojo in the present as she stops at a trailer with blocked out windows and small holes cut in the sides
>She creeps up to the trailer, crouched down, she gulps as she peaks through one of the holes cut out in the side of it for visitors to peer in for the attraction
>She sees the back of a small hairy man just sitting in front of his piano, like always
>Jojo ducks back down, she remains still and silent, waiting, listening
>Soon enough she hears footsteps approaching, she peers around and sees the living skeleton walking around, the shadows in his bones run deep and look terrifying, it’s Big Skeleton
>Jojo ducks back down and gulps again
>As fast as she can, when Big Skeleton isn’t looking, she slips out from under the trailer and opens the door to it, then darts out of sight
cont.
>>
>>90494765
>Big Skeleton heard the noise and looks over to the trailer, he scratches his head “That door has never been open before.”
>He walks over and peers inside, into the darkness with only the ambient light of the circus now illuminating the interior
>Big Skeleton pokes his head inside, clutching the door frame “Hello? Is someone in here?”
>There’s a crashing piano sound as someone just slammed their hands down on the keys all at once
>We see the backside of the man again, this time his head spins around and we see his face, which is covered in a brown beard
>His skin is pale, his eyes are beady, his face is pink with rage
>A narration box appears reading: ‘Herman – The Human Mole, Circus Attraction, Pianist’
>Herman shrieks “GET OUT!” before turning back to his piano, which he now begins to play
>As he plays, he begins to glow with stand power, the shadows being cast by Big Skeleton begin to shift and deform, growing masses that shouldn’t be there
>Big Skeleton begins to sink into his own shadow “Well, that’s not right. I should call the boss and let him know.”
>Big Skeleton removes one of his ribs and holds it to his ear and waits, he continues to sink slowly
>Big Skeleton: “Hello, boss? One of the circus people is suddenly attacking me. What should I do about it?” There’s a pause “Uh-huh. Mm-hmm. I see. Understood boss.” and he places his rib back where it belongs “The boss says that anyone resisting must be punished.”
>Big Skeleton begins glowing with stand power, a sharply dressed man with a crescent moon for a head wearing sunglasses materializes behind him
>His stand grabs onto him and the roof of the trailer and lifts Big Skeleton out of the shadows which cling to him like gum “I’m sorry to do this, but I’m going to have to ask you to 「ENJOY YOURSELF」.”
cont.
>>
>>90494792
>As Big Skeleton is lifted into the trailer, Herman hisses and begins playing his piano harder, the shadows all begin to shift and squirm, as if they were lifting off of the ground and reaching for Big Skeleton
>We cut to outside the trailer at the entrance of the tent and see a tall clown watching the fight begin, we do a close up and see he is a very angry clown before the lines on his face deepen enough through the make up for it to be apparent that it’s Frank dressed as a clown

Then I guess we can cut to Sam and Max who are still creeping around.

Stromboli exits the trailer and walks somewhere before Frank Franks him, then the Coachman sees this and summons the hoard.
Sam and Max think the jig is up and start shooting the demons as they seemingly rush them. Need for Jojo lion to give them an opening to advance.
The Coachman gets concerned with fewer demons show up than he thought and I guess we explain what his power is here before he gets Franked.
Well, before the second Franking of the evening, Sam and Max should make their move on Loki who rebuffs them with his minions, but then they scatter after the Franking since the Coachman is no longer alive to keep their flesh bound in servitude. That would require a second spell by Loki, but he lacks the time to do it.
Then he busts out the pile of crap giant stand.

It's pretty much a total cluster cuss as the plans pile up.

What was Sam and Max's original plan before Frank inadvertently Franked it all to Frank.

Sam and Max's plan could be ambush Loki before he could call any reinforcements and maul him until he reverts the spell, Frank's intervention simply took away the element of surprise.

>We cut to Sam and Max on the far end of the big tent

>Sam: “You said it, little gal pal. It seems the diversion is a go. Let’s peel that fruit while his guard is preoccupied.”
>Max: “What a delightful mental image!”

>The clown holds up and arm to stop him and pulls out a horn, Stromboli is still holding the duffel bag behind him “I don’t care if you have a new act! No pay raises!”

What a really Frank way for Frank to Frank this guy while Franked as a clown?
What can Frank do with a bike horn? How can it be made extreme and Hollywood exploding fireball action movie genre?

I need some ideas.
>>
>>90507815
The sound of the horn either bursts Stromboli's ears (and probably head), blows him away or shatters all the surrounding glass. Or he just beats him to death with the horn.
>>
>>90508004
Or there's an explosive in the honk honk part of the hone and Frank rams it brass end first down Stromboli's throat before rattling off whatever crimes he's committed.
Then Stromboli is forced to bite down, making it explode while still in his mouth.

I don't know. I'm just not familiar enough with The Punisher to think up a way he'd kill something really evil.
>>
>>90508071
Maybe he puts something inside the horn and when he blows it, is shot with enough force to pierce Stromboli's head
>>
>>90508989
I kind of like the idea of it blowing out his ears.

>"Honk honk, motherfucker"

>>90506014
Should the focus switch to Sam and Max in the circus after this or remain with Ghost Rider as he charges against Amerika?
>>
>>90510633
It'll switch back to them trying to figure out how to fight it for a while, then Ghost Rider launches his motorcycle against it and starts going to town with his chain.

The question I have is, do they actually defeat the stand, or does it get destroyed after Sam and Max unload into Loki?
>>
>>90510783
I think Ghost Rider manages to keep the Stand focused on him while Sam and Max go after Loki. Maybe they don't destroy it before Loki is banished, but Ghost Rider deals enough damage to its carapace to cripple it.
>>
After Stromboli is dead and the Coachman appears, Frank should list off his crimes including human trafficking and child abduction.
The Coachman rebuttals by saying he'll show him the missing people and that's when he summons his hoard and gloats about his ability to turn his slaves into donkeys.

Mere animals are a poor conduit for demonic essence, but a human turned into an animal is a perfect container.

Frank should look grimmer than ever as the Coachman gloats about how a 'hero' can't do anything here but die.
Then Frank starts killing the demons saying whoever they used to be died long ago.

Just getting ideas out there before I forget them since I can't write them up properly right now.

With a fix or two.
>Sam and Max hear a rumbling and turn to see the stampede coming, each face is twisted by rage as they’re running straight at Sam and Max now
>Max: “Look at all those donkeys, Sam.”
>Sam: “Poor creatures used as vessels for unholy forces.”
>Max: “It’s like the democrat’s convention all over again.”
>Sam: “Aye. Let's hope the elephants in this circus can't summon any fiend.”
>They pull out their guns and prepare to fight

That's where I'm at.

Next I guess it'll be back to Frank doing what he does.
Should Loki see what's happening?
>>
>>90514455
>Should Loki see what's happening?
He does comment on how Sam and Max are butchering his forces before he summons his stolen stand
>>
>>90514680
OK, so he looks to the gunfire instead of the Frank fight.

He just watches Sam and Max, waiting to see them overrun, and when the demons stop and scatter, that's when he knows someone has killed the Coachman and he'll need to cast a spell to keep his forces from being totally dispersed, but fist he has to deal with Sam and Max.

How should Frank Frank the Coachman? He seems to deal out brutal deaths, but if he gets too close he'll end up enslaved (I changed what the stand does since >>90453839 wasn't working for me from a story telling point of view).
>>
>>90514803
What if he pulls some bullshit weapon? He already lost the knife shooting gun in the desert, and looks like the chainsaw launcher is reserved for CN City, so it should be a third one.

What kind of bullshit has he used in the comics? Anyone know of anything really stupid Frank has ever pulled out of his ass?

If the horn didn't alerted Loki, after that explosion he would be aware that the circus is being attacked from two fronts.
>>
>>90519779
The horn was muffled by Stromboli's head.

Loki knows he's under attack the moment Coachman summons his slaves, but his attention goes to Sam and Max before he sees Frank since they're shooting more bullets, so he thinks they're the main threat without realizing Frank is murdering the Coachman.

And once he realizes someone else took him out, it's too late since now he has to deal with Sam and Max before he can cast the spell to get his minions back under his control.

Or would you rather it play out differently and Loki spots Frank?
>>
>>90519936
I'll rather have Loki be unaware that Punisher had a hand in ruining his plan.
>>
>>90520077
Then he believes that the Coachman summoned his hoards because of Sam and Max since they're the ones he sees first and we go with what I already posted.

>>90520611
Nah, it works with the idea that Loki the trickster was tricked in the end.

Should Sam and Max fight on foot or ride their car?
>>

Perhaps, there are no good images of Springfield to picture it, and I just realized that there is also a nuclear plant at Loki's reach.

Loki could threaten to blow the nuclear plant with the leg bomb but Ghost Rider makes it miss the shot, blowing the Hollywood-like sign in Springfield.

I had that idea that the in-universe explanation for the stand's appearance is because it's made of pieces from different stands collected by the WB.
>>
>>90532218
Wouldn't that wipe out any of his demons as well?

And also vaporize his own body?

Because if he can protect himself from nuclear explosions, I'm not seeing how Sam and Max would be able to shoot him later.
>>
>>90532775
Maybe is just a regular bomb, a big ass bomb sure, but not nuclear. I'm pretty sure the bomb in the original propaganda poster is a reference to the allied bombings in europe and not the Manhattan project.
>>
>>90532879
I guess that makes more sense than it being a nuke.

The real threat then is releasing nuclear radiation from the power plant if it destroys it.
Demons can probably survive in nuclear radiation.
>>
>>90533994
Should Ghost Rider grab the leg with his chains or hit it with something bathed in his flames (which I assume allow it to damage stands)?

>Demons can probably survive in nuclear radiation
They are supernatural beings from a hellish plane and part 5 showed how some of them are tough as nails, they are likely resistant if not immune to radiation.
>>
>>90534507
How about...

Loki busts out the big stand, Sam and Max can't do much about it and Loki gets an idea.
He realizes there must be other forces in the town fighting him since Sam and Max weren't the ones to kill his goons, so instead of swatting at the flies he can see, he decides to fumigate, and in this case he means cracking open the nuclear plant.

Gives us an excuse to go back into town.

Just as he's about to bomb it open, that's when Ghost Rider's flaming chains wrap around the warped [Amerika]'s bomb leg and pulls it away, detonating it in its own face and knocking it back into the town.

Sam and Max have now caught up with Loki and manage to sucker punch him with their stands, then unload into him while Ghost Rider is fighting [Amerika].

And yes, Ghost Rider should be able to damage stands in this setting since we've already established angels, demons, and ghosts can make contact with the things.

>The demons climb up after him, once enough of them are on the pole, Frank uses a grappling hook to swing back down
>As he’s swinging he’s thinking “I’ll have to kill the puppet master from a distance. I may not be able to see his ability, but I know it’s real.”
>One of the demons cuts his line causing Frank to fall, he crashes into a vending machine that cracks open and pours out soda cans
>Frank picks one up “Just what I needed.” and begins shaking it, the demons begin surrounding him again
>Frank loads it into a hand catapult and aims it upwards just has the hoard makes contact and begins beating him

>The soda can is still spinning on the ground, the metal tab clicks out of place on its own getting his attention again
>KABOOM, the soda can explodes in a massive fireball, the Coachman screams as he falls to the ground, his legs have been broken and burned
>His minions pause with the beating they’re giving Frank who is now free to get up, his clown costume is shredded and his make up is gone, he pulls the remains off of his person revealing his usual costume and heavy body armor underneath

>He struggles to remove it, but hears the tab break

>Max has a demon in a headlock while mercilessly nuggying it "Hey Sam, what happened to your old gun?"
>Sam: "Oh, I got an even bigger one to replace it!"

>It is noticeably larger than his last appearance. It looks like it was broken and pieced back with a green substance

>The cracks on 「Amerika」 begin to glow as the Stand shakes and bulges

>Cut to Jiggy, who is standing at the entrance to Springfield watching the city through a pair of binoculars

And that's where I'm at with the stitching.
>>
How to handle this?

I don't think Sam and Max will be able to catch up with it before it reaches the plant.

When it's able to hit the plant, I guess some thunder clouds can appear swirling above it (reveal later it was Melusine preparing to intervene) right when Ghost Rider wraps the burning chain around its leg and neck to blow it backwards.

But how do they go about getting in range of Loki and how do they beat him enough to the point where the next big written section happens at where they beat the crap out of him before he gets banished?
>>
>>90539643
They could ride a car, any car, and give it chase while trying to damage it with their stands.

As for how they get in range of Loki, they could trick him into believe that Amerika crushed the car they were in, then sneak on him while he gloats. Sam carefully arranges the objects around Loki with his Stand then Max bats something using the objects around Loki to bounce his projectile and hit him repeatedly.
>>
>>90540434
So after it blows up in its own face, Sam turns the car around now that he sees Ghost Rider dealing with it and notices how little damage Loki is taking.
Then they hatch their plan.

So do they fake their deaths by sacrificing the DeSoto?

One concern I'm having is that late arcs will feel underwhelming after this.
>>
>>90540777
Or Sam could move another car with his stand and either make it crash into Amerika's leg or held it alongside the DeSoto as they drive.
>>
>>90540913
Might be better if they shoot at it to get its attention after it has been tripped, then when it attacks them they pull off the fake out and go after Loki.

It has a giant gun in one of its hands. Let's have it use that.
It fires bullets the size of cars probably.
>>
>>90542362
Wait, how are they going to hit Amerika? Are the objects affected by their stands able to interact with it or they are going to bludgeon its normal leg?
>>
>>90543271
Right, they can't shoot at it, it's a stand.

And Max can't hit it with objects using his stand.

Guess they're doing a drive by bludgeoning with their stands then. Gonna give it a stubbed toe to make it swing at them. That was the original idea.
>>
Where's Loki during the chase?
>>
>>90543936
Where's a place a pompous ass like him would be?

He's probably somewhere with a good view. Maybe the Springfield sign? Maybe on top of city hall? There needs to be stuff around him.
>>
>>90544344
If he's in the sign, then he must get the hell outta there when the bomb is lobbed in that direction.
>>
>>90544390
I'm still figuring it out, but now I have a rough outline to work with.

It involves a significant amount of rusing and bullshit.
>>
>>90538716

>Both Sam and Max see he’s pointing at the Springfield nuclear power plant in the distance
>The massive stand begins to move, one beautiful beauty pageant leg rises and fall with an impact causing gusts of wind that Sam and Max shield their faces from
>Then the second leg rises and Sam and Max see that from the knee down it’s a massive bomb
>Sam: “Jiminy Cricket in the mouth of a volcano with a glass of ice-!”
>She’s cut short as the bomb leg makes contact with the ground and explodes, sending the two of them flying
>Sam, while still in mid-air holding her hat and skirt: “He’s going to blow the plant and irradiate the town!”

Next is a scene of Frank who was watching from somewhere. He comments that saved him some trouble.

Then we cut to the hills outside of Springfield where a lot of cars are pared and Snake-Eyes is hesitant to go down into this shit show. They get surprised by the Spiderwoman who drops the arm in their laps.

Then the thing with Homer diving to the circus unaware of all the destruction around him.

>>90548488
>A caravan of cars is stationed in the hills outside Springfield, the same gang from Aberdale is watching the aftermath of Loki’s rampage
>Snake-Eyes: Holy cannoli! Dat was one helluva catastrophe, I swear
>One of his henchmen approaches him “So, what we do now? We still have to pick dat thingy”
>Snake-Eyes bites on his cigar “I’ll be damned, with all the crap that went down there, who knows if there is another freak lurking in the ruins”
>Thug: “But boss, da mission…”
>Snake-Eyes: “Here’s da mission: Decide which one of you will tell you-know-who that the corpse part is gone”
>Thug: But sir, we don’t know if da part is really gone. It may still be buried sumwhere”
>Snake-Eyes: Then YOU start walking, cuz I'm not going’ there…”
>The group gasp in unison and stare at Snake-Eyes “What’s the matter with you? Is there something in mah…” A mummified arm lands in front of him “What da…”
>“There, the job is done” The Spiderwoman is standing behind Snake-Eyes, who is startled by her sudden apparition
>Snake-Eyes: Who the hell are ya?
>Spiderwoman: That’s not relevant; the only thing you need to know is that we are on the same side… and that you were tasked to retrieve the arm, not to stand here like idiots
Snake-Eyes: You…you don’t know what you are talking about, miss. We were…just biding our time, right guys?
>The group nod nervously, the spiderwoman groans
>Spiderwoman: Just be sure that the Hero's arm arrives safely to destination
>Snake-Eyes makes a mocking reverence “We'll do it, my lady”
>Spiderwoman: Great, I have more pressing matters to attend
>Snake-Eyes: “Oh, and what that would…be” he regains his composure and notices that the spiderwoman disappeared “Lemme guess, no one saw where she went?”
>Everyone in the gang shake their heads “Never mind… Pussycat, the briefcase! Rubberhead, the radio!”

cont.
>>
>>90551104
>Rubberhead approaches holding a pair of earphones in his hand “Boss, I already gave da good news to… you-know-who, and he gave us a new assignment: we are goin to take a boat to some island in da Atlantic”
>Snake-Eyes looks at the briefcase and starts laughing uncontrollably; he opens his eyes, which are now a pair of six “Looks like we are in a lucky streak, boys! We are unstoppable!”
>>
At what point do we reveal that Aunt May is the Spiderwoman and also the owner of the Old Mountain Dew stand?
>>
>>90552256
I think that is during Rio that her identity is fully confirmed, but she also uses her stand against Jane and Cliff on their way to the robot town, so is between those sections. I don't know if she uses the spiderwoman disguise again.
>>
>>90552362
So should we reveal that she's the Spiderwoman earlier than she's the owner of OMD?
>>
>>90552523
I'm not sure since both revelations would confirm Aunt May's allegiance with the Dada Party: we already have the spiderwoman helping the front men and OMD acting as a messenger for Nobody's underlings and as the executioner of Chameleon.
>>
>>90552729
As soon as the stand is revealed to be her's Goofy is also revealed to be a member of the Dada party.

So when does that revelation come?
>>
So I got a friend that I want to introduce Jojo into, but he's under the impression that it's just a mindless punch anime. I convinced him to watch one episode to change his mind. Which one should I show him?

I was thinking of the episode with D'Arby, but there might be something better
>>
>>90553422
During CN City is confirmed that Goofy is an agent of Nobody since OMD deals with Chameleon and Goofy interacted earlier with the stand. It was also suggested that OMD's default appearance was a hand resembling one of spider-man's gloves, if we are using that idea the connection between the stand and the spiderwoman would be made clear earlier.
>>
>>90553637
Did we ever reveal that Chameleon was working for the Dada Party?
I don't think it was shown in the beginning that he's the one Mr. Nobody stuck/stabbed/smacked/penetrated using the super rod after his golf game in the oval office.

Maybe we should have a flashback of that after he gets the box of cookies as a warning, just to cement the connection.

So OMD takes on a webbed pattern?
>>
>>90553874
>Did we ever reveal that Chameleon was working for the Dada Party?
Nope, I was under impression that his connection with Nobody was revealed when he was inside the Strickland van, but it wasn't.

>So OMD takes on a webbed pattern?
A red hand with a black webbed pattern. Following the Stand's current description, it could have frayed webs coming out of it's wrist.
>>
>>90554172
Right, that flashback of him being escorted into the oval office near the start of the part is now a necessity.

I think OMD's color changes based on the properties of whatever it is took them from.
It also becomes visible when it does this, which limits its usefulness for long range spying.

Alright, time to see if we're still going to have a thread when I wake up.

Tomorrow I'll try to wrap up whatever is left of Springfield and then see about getting the next arc rolling.

Unless of course someone else feels like jumping in with that before I get around to it.
>>
Where was Loki banished? I was thinking that he could walk next to the hole he left.
>>
>>90548488
How much should Dib reveal about the Church of Gaming?
>>
page10 bump
>>
>>90551126
>After Loki is banished, we see Homer driving his regular car through the ruined streets of Springfield
>Homer: Whew, this place is a mess. Must be another attempt to scam FEMA
>The car passes besides the smoking remains of the school bus “That Otto, who knows what he's smoking now?” says Homer, without noticing that Otto is now a pile of charred remains
>Ramesses: Homer, we feel that is not safe to be outside
>Homer: “Nonsense…” The car seems to hit a bump “D’oh, these damn streets are in shambles... Where is my tax money, Quimby?”
>Gandhi looks back and notices that Homer actually passed over the corpse of the mayor “It would be wiser if you get some supplies and remain at home…”
>Homer: “Hey look, the circus is still on town!” He accelerates as he hums the circus theme
>Homer arrives to the circus and runs to the ticket booth
>Homer: “Nice, not a single waiting line” War Pigs' figures are behind him, staring at all the dead donkeys littered in the place and whispering between each other
>Homer: “One ticket for me and one for each of my dudes” He points behind him
>The guy in the booth looks at the empty car “Five tickets?”
>Homer: Yes, five tickets. Did you clean your ears today?
>“Huh, it’s your money” he takes Homer’s money and gives him the tickets
>Homer: “That’s right, it’s my hard earned money” He winks at Lincoln

And the rest is already in the doc, though it needs to change the "three figures" part with four if Jiggy is with Sam and Max when they encounter Dib.
>>
>>90556111
What do you mean where?

Remember part 5 when Him was defeated? He left a huge hole in the ground that went all the way down.
When a demon is forcefully banished through combat, they leave a demon shaped hole in the ground.

>>90557539
Just that it's a Church that can supposedly do things.

>>90558882
I still need to do the scene with Frank before all that and set up the Dib thing.
>>
>>90559474
I messed up, it was Homer could walk next to the hole Loki left behind
>>
>>90559556
Oh, hmm...

Well he could've ended up back in the circus. I didn't specify where he landed after he got pinged around with that car.

That'd be easier than trying to do more re-writing.

Homer could see the glowing hole in the shape of a man and think that's an attraction.
>>
>>90558881

So what stand is this?
>>
>>90560676
I don't remember what Homer's Stand was supposed to do
>>
>>90560676
War Pigs.

They play a role in the current arc we're in, they keep Homer out of deadly danger by dissuading him from doing things.
>>
>>90561063
>>90561132

Cool, I should start reading this weekend or something.
>>
So should we have it so Frank was watching the whole thing, or pushes aside some rubble to crawl out from under and catches the tail end of Loki's departure?
>>
>>90562669
Maybe he was packing up his equipment, then hears the gunshots coming from Sam and Max and watches how Ghost Rider stomps Loki.
>>
>>90562800
Frank wouldn't be packing up to go until he knows the job is done.

Did he even know Loki was there? If he did then he wouldn't be packing up.
>>
>>90563538
As far a I know, he went to Springfield just to hunt down Stromboli and the Coachman and he would have dealt with Loki after he killed Nobody
>>
>>90563918
So he didn't know Loki was there, and Loki didn't know Frank was there.

Feels like a missed opportunity or something. I dunno.
>>
>>90563981
If Frank knew that Loki was around he would had intervened in the fight right after killing the Coachman. Loki could learn about Frank's involvement in Springfield after he is banished.
>>
>>90548328
>We pan away from Sam and Max, the hole Loki left in the ground is located within the remains of the circus
>We pan over the remains until we see something shining in them
>A close up reveals its Frank, who is partially buried in them, holding a pair of night vision binoculars up to his face
>He stands up, pushing the debris off of himself “Looks like those guys saved me some trouble. I was going to kill Loki myself after dealing with Nobody.”
>Frank walks off heading out of town

>We pan to the outskirts of Springfield
>A caravan of cars are parked on the hills overlooking the town, the same gang from Aberdale is watching the aftermath of Loki’s rampage
>>90551104

>Behind Snake-Eyes, we see a pair of headlights driving through the town
>We zoom in on them
>>90558882

>Homer strolls through the ruins of the circus while [War Pigs] follow him closely
>Homer: “Alright gang, where should we go first?”
>A flier dragged by the wind lands in front of Homer, he grabs it and starts reading it
>Homer: “What’s this?” [War Pigs]’ figures look at each other worried “Wacky Races… organized by POTUS Nobody… cash prize of… Holy crap! Guys, we should…”
>Ramesses: “Give me that!” He snatches the flier from Homer’s hands and rips it to shreds
>Homer: “Hey, I was just going to say that we should enter the…”
>War Pigs: “NO!”
>Homer: “You guys are no fun… hey, what’s going on there?” There’s a glow in the distance surrounded by three figures “Must be an outside performance, let’s check it out”

>Sam, Max, and Jiggy are still standing around the hole in the ground left by Loki
>A strange, large headed me in waving his arms around holding Chick Tracks with four panel comics in them
>He declares “The Church of Gaming shall grant you new, customizable bodies! All you need do is join us!”
>A narration box appears reading ‘Dib – Big Headed Weirdo, Cult of Gaming Representative’
>>
>>90566628
>Sam: “For the last time, no! We’ve had enough occult nonsense for one evening, thank you.”
>Max: “Look at the size of his head, Sam. Nothing good comes from those types.
>Sam: “I bet this guy gorges himself on week old grease from the crazy house deep fryers. The best thing we can do is ignore him.”

OK, so what gets them laughing at him?

Should he gave away the name of the cult here or leave it for part 8?

>>90566659
>Homer: Hey guys, what's going on...oh my god! It's the freak show! C'mon fellas, check this weirdo's massive head
>Dib: My head isn't massive!
>Jiggy: Looks like he's getting mad
>Homer: You, the rabbit, poke him with your stick! It will be fun
>Max: Sure, I was thinking the same... wait, you can see this?
>Sam: Seems that his gang of impersonators is actually a Stand
>Dib: Enough! This insolence won't go unpunished!
>Jiggy: Ok buddy, calm down
>Homer: Hehe yeah, your head may explode
>Dib: "Behold the power revealed to me by the Inner Circle!" Dib starts glowing with energy
>Jiggy: Oh no...
>Homer: Great, a freak magician!
>Sam: Looks like he wasn't joking, get ready for round two, Max
>Dib raises his arms in the air and glows "The power of He who reached the root of all!"
>Sam, Max and Jiggy gets in fighting positions, Homer does the same without understanding what's going on
>Dib stares at them defiantly...and starts bawling and making noises while his arms are still in the air
>There is a pause, then the four burst into laughter
>>
Did we ever use the Stonecutters?
>>
>>90567351
Right now the cult of gaming it just a throw away joke where, if by any chance, someone were reading this who wasn't deeply entrenched in the writing process, would think of it as nothing more than a joke.

>>90567681
Nope, we didn't.

Phase 1 of part 7 was already bloated enough, and we're still not even through with it yet.
>>
>>90567681
Actually, we could have the Stone Cutters be the ones who put Dib in the crazy bucket claiming "only one cult per small town".
>>
>>90567814
>The police arrive to check the situation, they see Dib and decide to arrest him
>Dib tries to resist arrest, is put in a crazy can
>Inside the patrol, Dib demands an explanation for his arrest
>The officers reveal that they are actually members of the Stone Cutters and explain that they don't like competition
>>
>>90568945
Which police survived the lightning?
>>
>>90569014
The only one that was in the group that hunted down the racers was Wiggum. They could be some random members of the stone cutters pretending to be cops.
>>
>>90569124
Lou and Eddie could fill the role just fine.

Do Sam, Max, Jiggy, and Homer continue to laugh as the police car drives away?
>>
>>90567351
>Even [War Pigs] joins in
>Dib is now surrounded by people pointing and laughing at him, his head spins as the laughing gets louder
>Then he’s grabbed by a pair of arms and stuffed into a crazy bucket, which is like a straight jacket, only punching bag shaped
>Dib is tossed into a police car by Lou and Eddie
>Inside the patrol, Dib demands an explanation for his arrest “Under what charges?!”
>The officers flash the symbol of the cult of the Stone Cutters
>Eddie: “We don't like competition.”
>The police car drives off while Sam, Max, Jiggy, and Homer keep laughing

>Pan up and out
>Jiggy, Status: 「RETIRED」
>Official transcript: Jiggy dropped out of the race claiming it was just too hazardous to his hair. He joined the circus.
>He later became quite famous for his act… which involves a hippo

And we're done with the Springfield arc.

From here on, Hex and Pym will take on the role of main characters in most of the arcs to come.

CN City: Phase 1 Complete

>The scene is of a fire-y hellscape, two pillars stand high above the flames
>Loki stands on the lower pillar looking up at a man wearing all black with the upper half of his face concealed by a black skull mask standing on the high pillar
>Killinger: “I must commend you on your dedication and ambition, Daemon Prince. However, your part has concluded and I cannot allow you to interfere any longer.”
>Loki: “What? Who do you think I am, filthy worm?”
>Killinger: “An actor whose role has already been fulfilled and must now leave the stage.”
>Loki: “I am pawn of no one! I am Loki, The Lie-Smith!”
>Killinger: “I think not, for who was it that informed you of the significance of the circus? Think hard on this matter.”
>Loki pauses, as if something just dawned on him
>Loki: “No! I am the one that deceives, I cannot be outplayed!”
>Killinger: “If it is any consolation, you played your part magnificently in ridding us of the divine presence of the angel.”
>Loki is furious, he glows with green power, the power of dominion that comes with being a prince of hell, he concentrates hard on Killinger, trying to control his thoughts
>Loki gets a nose bleed for his troubles and collapses
>Killinger chuckles, “Your powers are useless on me, you silly billy. Your ambition was great, and your powers formidable, but you lacked any imagination in their application, and that was your undoing.”
>Killinger opens his magic murder bag, chains coil from it and wrap around Loki
>Killinger: “My companion's vision takes precedence over some petty power struggle of the nether realms, therefore you will be staying here. Good day.”
>Loki’s platform sinks back down into the abyss of hell, he has a look of terror in his eyes now as he shouts “You! You are…!”

>Nobody snaps his fingers next to Killinger, "Hello? Earth to Henry?"
cont.
>>
>>90570668
>Killinger blinks, “A report just came in, Mr. President. Our operatives have successfully retrieved another portion of the Hero’s person during this leg of the race.”
>Nobody: “Forget that for now, the racers are just coming up on the next checkpoint, you don’t want to miss it.”

I suppose we could cut to TOM here so we get an update on how much time has passed since the end of last arc.

This is where things are less planned out again.
>>
>>90570696
Ok, first TOM gives an update of the race, then maybe the focus returns to Pym and Hex, now focused on the race instead of hunting down Shocker.

What should happen first? Dick arriving earlier to the checkpoint and setting his traps or all the racers converging in the same place?
>>
>>90571255
I'm not sure.

Maybe we show them entering the city and TOM explains there's only one road that leads to the finish line, so everyone will have to get on it eventually.

But the street is mostly booby trapped by Dick already, but those traps are just so he can force them onto side roads with even worse traps.
>>
>>90572083
So there is a big fight before entering CN City and those who manage to pass later clash in the streets full of traps?
>>
>>90574113
There's certainly a bottle necking when getting into the city, but there's no time for stopping to fight.

That's what I like about the race segments, I don't have to expand on anything since it's supposed to be GOTTA GOAH FASST, no time for stopping and posturing.
You clash with the intent to make your opponent wreck while losing as little speed as possible and keep going.
>>
>>90574307
Navis and Cybersix were supposed to have a duel while driving, I don't know if there are other duels planned for that section.

If Sam and Max are going to appear in the brawl they could be shown when two other racers are dueling and Sam's separate them with his stand, allowing the DeSoto to pass between them, then he makes them crash against each other.
>>
>>90576260
If Sam does that to Navis and Cybersix's clashing, Max should make a remark about dogs and cats.

Or cat fights.

I don't plan for the two big cat stands to have a drawn out fight since it's happening in a fast paced part.

Sam and Max passing them just makes them refocus on speeding up.
>>
>>90554601
Should we show how the Super Rod grants him his Stand during that flashback?
>>
>>90577789
Yes.

The flashback serves multiple purposes in establishing The Chameleon's link to the Dada Party, what they have at their disposal, and... other stuff that's revealed in roundabout ways since I feel like that's a theme here.
>>
safety early morning bump
>>
>>90579330
Yeah, more on the next arc if the thread is still up tomorrow.
>>
>>90577856
Here's the specific part where he gains his stand:
>Nobody: Mr. Smerdyakov, your talents are quite eye-catching, however, they might not be enough for the task I will entrust you, and that's where this thing comes into play
>Nobody pulls a long rod from his desk
>Chameleon: What is that?
>Nobody: This, my blank-faced friend, is the key to amazing powers beyond your imagination
>Chameleon: Amazing powers, eh?
>Nobody: That's right, but they don't come without a price, are you willing to risk your life in exchange of them?
>Chameleon: Yes, yes!
>Nobody: I knew you would say that
>Nobody stabs Chameleon in the stomach with the rod
>Chameleon backs away holding his guts, he looks like he's about to throw up
>Nobody: It works! And here comes my favorite part
>Chameleon's eyes roll back, a faceless mask briefly appears over his face and a clawed hand over his own.
>Killinger: Three, two, one...
>Chameleon lets out a scream and his stand emerges from his body
>Nobody: Magnificent! Now is a good time to point out that the process is 100% safe...I think...it was just a test of confidence
>Chameleon: All zis power burning through my body...what did you did to me?
>Nobody: Pretty impresive, is it? Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a handbook so you must learn how to use it by yourself

After this, I suppose Nobody goes in detail about Chameleon's mission
>>
Is there any revelant racer that is out of the competition in this part?
>>
>>90581655
Speaking of which, did we retire Thomas in Springfield or he's still in the race?

>>90576706
Or he uses his Stand against two background racers, retiring them for good

Also, I remember that Wander was suggested to be in the brawl and be protected from harm thanks to his karma
>>
>>90580776
And then, as he's leaving, one of the other members of the Dada Party, Doctor Destiny, tells him the consequences of failure.

>>90581655
Do you mean up to this point or someone who gets retired right before this checkpoint?

Because unless they died or were seriously injured, odds are, being that close to the finish line, any racers knocked back would still try to finish to stay in the race.

Or do you mean in general? Because we're retired Dan, The Beatles, Jiggy, and probably some others.

>>90583220
Diesel is still in the race, he plays a role in Europe as part of the coalition of racers who have fallen behind which are dedicated in eliminating the leaders from the race so they still have a chance at winning.
Which is a legal and valid tactic during the race segments.

Not sure how Wander's karma will protect him until we have a situation set up that he needs protecting from.
>>
>>90585195
>Do you mean up to this point or someone who gets retired right before this checkpoint?
In the clash right before CN City
>>
>>90585254
No suggestions have been made so far for retiring anyone here.

Anyone in mind?

We can always pull more racers out of our butts if they just need to be fodder. It's supposed to have thousands of entrees.
>>
>>90585195
I thought those who are going to be part of the train crew lost their transport and were picked up by the Fat Controller.

>Not sure how Wander's karma will protect him
Maybe an enemy racer tries to take him down
>>
>>90585999
Diesel did lose his transport, but he's still in the race.

Do we want to establish the Fat Crew now or later?
They could try targeting Wander.only to get screwed over.
>>
>>90586320
Maybe foreshadow it each time one of the future crew members is beaten with a train being heard or appearing in the distance, whoever attacks Wander could end up joining the crew.
>>
>>90586522
So does anyone he picks up still end up placing below the 30th place marker?
>>
>>90586750
Yeah, did the Fat Controller appeared in a previous table?
>>
>>90586901
Yes, near the bottom of the second leg results.

I might've put him in the first table as well, but he was also near the bottom if he was.

So he's doing better than most, but still not well enough to be a first place contender.

In the CN City phase, should TOM make a note of Spongebob's absence since he had a commanding lead?
>>
>>90587668
>In the CN City phase, should TOM make a note of Spongebob's absence since he had a commanding lead?
Yes, that x days have passed and still there's no news about his whereabouts.
>>
>>90588066
So just a "There's been no sign of the current point leader, Dirty Dan Squarepants since the first day of the third leg" then?

And no one really pays it any mind because racers are dropping out all the time or because of the Blue Meanie's continued influence?
>>
>>90589010
>"Spongebob, If you can hear us you better hurry up, the betting houses won't be happy with the leader leaving the race all of a sudden"
>>
>>90589394
Maybe Fat Controller is an inside man for the Betting Houses.
>>
>>90589394
And after the time limit:
>TOM: Unfortunately, Spongebob Squarepants, who was until now in first place with 2000 points, hasn't arrived to the finish line, which means that he's officially out of the race. With Squarepants' elimination, the current leaderboard is as follows
Then the classification table appears. Serenity questions why Bob decided to abandon the race all of a sudden, and TOM correctly guesses that someone may have got rid of him.
>>
>>90591138
Maybe on the cruise ship later, after the ocean leg, we can get into the race politics with the betting houses and other parties trying to influence the race.

Like making offers to racers to blow their positions so they can rig the bets.
>>
Time for some spitballing.

So, TOM says some stuff.
Cut to the racers.
Navis and Cybersix are having a cat fight, Sam and Max plow through it, they refocus on the race.
Sam and Max plow through someone else and blow them up.
Jack is back and he's with Jack on his armored spike wheeled motorcycle. There should be some commentary on how he has a new vehicles (that's allowed).
Then we need to focus on Pym and Hex, who are probably in the middle of the pack. Pym needs to be trying to find a way to get ahead.
Cut to Dick who is way out ahead and comes flying in the opposite direction of the finish line back at the racers before something needs to happen to block the main street. Like a bunch of those big cement tubes get rolled down the street or something.
Racers take evasive actions down side roads, some get flattened. Don't know who.
Pym and Hex end up in a construction site and Pym gets an idea to go up and over the buildings.

What else?
>>
>>90590050
And he claims that he and his crew are actually the spirits of the deceased racers wanting revenge as a mean to intimidate his opponents.

>>90593130
Before joining the pack, Hex and Pym could spot a wrecked car in the middle of the road and one of them comments how things must be getting serious in the leading group.
>>
>>90593601
Should the wrecked car have slash marks in it?
>>
>>90594131
If it was attacked by Cybersix or Navis, yes.
>>
>>90594255
I was thinking it was by Jack, but claw marks work too.

What sort of traps are we doing with Dick this time? He's already blown up a bridge and dug pitfalls, what new thing does he have for this finish line?
>>
>>90594667
A quicksand-like trap? He may also build a series of barricades in the city, turning it into a labyrinth of sorts that force the racers to pass through the construction site.
>>
>>90595252
Wet cement, maybe.

The labyrinth idea has potential, we just need a way to implement it that doesn't drag things out.
At least some of the racers would smash through the obstacles. I could see Jack cutting through them and Rex plowing through them.
>>
>>90595534
>I could see Jack cutting through them
Cutting them with his sword or carving a path through them with the spikes of his bike?
>>
>>90596864
Either or.
Probably both.

He cuts through the big pipes and then uses the spiked wheels to vertically climb them.
>>
Does Jack's bike has a sidecar for Vince? If it doesn't, when they arrive Vince could say that the first thing they must do is get one, indicating that he was riding behind Jack all this time (Sam and Max could poke fun of this if they meet again).
>>
>>90597469
Gives them something to do in the city.

Jack knows the lay of the land a little, as they walk around while it's getting outfitted for the thing, Jack tells Vince about the last time he was there some decades ago.
>>
What are some other classic antics people have been known to get up to on construction sites?

I'd like to work in a moment where Pym gets to use the "saw it coming" line.
>>
>>90598965
Someone getting crushed under a pile of cinderblocks/steel pipes, being covered in wet cement, being hit with a steel girdle. I don't know what else.
>>
>>90599479
Aside from the pulley system steel beam elevator thing, I also seem to be drawing blanks.

Instead of building hopping, maybe Pym uses one of those to gain the necessary altitude to bypass the roadblocks Dick dropped while everyone else is scrambling to find another way around.
>>
>>90591884
So the Fat Controller is hunting down racers based on their betting odds?

>>90595534
>Rex is going head to head with an opponent
>Both don't notice the makeshift wall in front of them
>While the opponent racer freaks out and tries to brake, Rex keeps going
>Rex leaps the barricade as the other car crashes and explode

Yeah, betting odds. He's not so much trying to eliminate them permanently, but impede them enough so the expectations get thrown off. Racers with high points are priority targets since they're the favorites to keep winning.
Or something like that. I don't know all the shit that goes into a race gamblers math equations.

Adds an extra dynamic to the background of the race that isn't about anything other than the race itself.
>>
>>90602755
Maybe he's also betting on himself and rigging the odds in his favor, his train could contain a console connected to all the betting houses involved in the race, allowing him to keep tabs of the odds at all times.

>The race logo appears followed by TOM
>“Welcome back, the racers are just now coming up on the outskirts of CN City, location of the third checkpoint. Their paths may have differed, but the pack leaders are still way out in front.” We get a display of the fast approaching vehicles coming up on the city skyline “There's been no sign of the current point leader, Dirty Dan Squarepants since the first day of the third leg.” A file photo of him is displayed “Spongebob, If you can hear us you better hurry up, the betting houses won't be happy with the leader leaving the race all of a sudden.”

>We cut out to the racers who are fast approaching, we see sparks, grinding gears, even explosions in the dust
>The dust clears as they get onto the roads, we see Navis’ tri-wheeler Red Comet clashing with a motorcycle being ridden by a lady in all black with a red interior cape
>Both of them glow with stand power
>A large black panther looking stand pounces from within the motorcycle’s driver
>A heavy built tiger looking stand leaps from the Red Comet
>The two big cats collide in mid air as their owners on their vehicles continue to clash
>Another car tries to slip between them when they separate only to get mauled on both sides by the big cat stands
>TOM is on commentary “OH, and there goes another racer, they got too close to Navis and Cybersix’s current feud. The intensity between the two is tearing anyone who gets in their way to pieces!”
>A close up of Navis in her car’s cockpit “So, we have similar stands… I wonder what kind of tricks her’s has.”
>A close up of the driver of the motorcycle, we see her face through the helmet, she’s smiling (no narration box here)
>The two vehicles suddenly part as a banged up DeSoto that’s seen better days passes between them
>TOM: “But what’s this? Somehow they’re letting Sam and Max pass?!”
cont.
>>
>>90604698
>There’s a blue metal clamp looking thing forcing the two of them apart which also takes their stands out of range
>Sam: “Coming through, don’t mind us!”
>Max: “Yeah, we like a good cat fight as much as the next girl, don’t let us stop you!”
>They speed by, Navis and the motorcycle driver exchange looks, then look forward, accelerating with their eyes now on the prize

>TOM: “And just a minute further back, Jack is back and riding with a mysterious new partner on an armored motorcycle! Who could this mysterious helper be? Either way, it’s well within the rules.”
>Jack is hanging onto Jack for dear life
>Any racers who don’t get out of the way get run over as Jack’s bike has retractable spikes in its wheels

>Cut a little ways further back and we see Pym and Hex in Rover, they’re firmly stuck in the middle of the leader pack
>Pym dodges a torn up car in the middle of the road with deep slash marks on both sides “Damn, looks like things are getting serious. Time to find a way to break from the pack.”

>TOM: “But what’s this? No, it can’t be! How does he keep doing it folks?”
>Cut to Dick who is way out ahead on the main road that leads to the finish line
>TOM: “Dick Dastardly has one again attained an impressive lead on the other racers! But what could he be planning this time?”
>Dick is sitting in his car, laughing to himself with Muttley, who hands him a remote with one big red button on it
>Dick pushes the button and a crane comes to action carrying huge pipes, the massive cement ones
>They raise high above the city, then drop
>Dick speeds off into a side road, the pipes fall onto the main road, they block the entire road from building to building and they’re rolling right into the path of the racers
>TOM: “That fiend! he’s blocked off the path to the finish line! The racers will have to find another route! But what’s this? The leaders are still going straight forward, they’re not slowing down!”
cont.
>>
>>90604733
>Rex is going head to head with another car
>Both don't notice the advancing wall of tube-shaped concrete rolling in their direction
>Rex’s opponent freaks out and tries to brake, Rex keeps going and somehow leaps the barricade as the other car crashes and explodes
>TOM: “An impressive maneuver from Rex, but it might not be enough, a second crane is on the move again!”
>The crane drops a second wave of massive concrete pipes onto the road, this time they’re stacked
>Rex tries racing up the side of a building to evade, but it slows him down considerably

>Back a ways, Jack’s bike has climbed up on top of and over to the pipes

>Even further back, the pack is thinning as racers veer off looking for alternate routes
>Pym is staying the course, repeating to himself “Read the situation, predict what will happen next...”
>He looks around and sees the construction site a third crane is located in, Pym speeds into it and into the massive pipes attached to it just as they begin to rise

That's where I'm at. I still need a way for Dick to get screwed over and for Wander's karma to do something. So suggestions are open there.
>>
>>90604778
Dick could be outsmarted by one of the racers and crash with one of his barricades
>>
>>90605036
He's on a side road though. Somehow I'd like for whatever screws Dick over to be what propels Wander and Sylvia to the top 10 finishers. But I'm tired and lack the will for something that intricate right now.

I figure the race part ends with Pym and Hex in Rover shooting out of the pipe when it is angled correctly to reach the finish line ahead of Rex.
Pym pulled it off by going around and around inside the pipe to keep momentum.
>>
>>90605155
One of the racers may get fed up with his tricks and attacks him, diverting him from his route until he ends up ramming against the barricade.
>>
>>90605682
But who? Shocker is out of the race, so he can't do it again.

Mojo maybe? Might be a good time to introduce him.
>>
>Rorschach meets with V to swap information they’ve gathered so far
What are their findings? Did they discovered about the existence of the Hero's corpse?
>>
>>90606571
Perhaps, he is going to get a stand in Fantastic Island, so he needs to rely in whatever weapons his car has installed. Dick could comment how Shocker was a more entertaining opponent than him.
>>
>>90606587
Do you think I drop alliteration everywhere when writing this thing out for no reason?

Not even the narration is safe from V.
Especially the narration.

Yeah, they know about the corpse, they know the president is after it, but they don't know why yet.
Two towns were all but wiped out because of the things.

Does Goofy still have the leg or has he already passed it along to someone to keep from looking suspicious?
>>
>>90606571
Have any of the Wacky Racers been used yet?
>>
>>90607075
Is Dick Dastardly not considered a Wacky Racer?

>>90606781
Mojo Jojo might have an over reliance on ray guns.
Hex should comment later on how unreliable those things are.
>>
>>90607060
He's going to be questioned by the Hero's spirit (or a spirit connected to him) in a later stage, so he should keep the leg. Perhaps the Dada party considers him more useful with the power boost from the corpse part.

>>90607075
So far, the only one being used is Dick.
>>
>>90607251
So does he have the ability to conceal it's presence on his person? Like it was only beefy when it first merged before merging more completely?

What new ability does Goofy get and when do we get into that?
>>
More on figuring this out tomorrow.

Who should place where in the rankings for this leg?
>>
>>90607868
>So does he have the ability to conceal it's presence on his person? Like it was only beefy when it first merged before merging more completely?
It may only hulk up when he's fighting
>>
>>90607251
At one point, he could be contacted by Doctor Destiny through his Stand and be informed of their decision of leaving him the corpse part until further notice.
>>
How does Chameleon trick people into believing he is their reflection?
>>
>>90611899
That'd happen after the Chameleon is dead since then we'd know Goofy is with the Dada Party.

>>90613032
Master of disguise and planned movement.
>>
>>90609376
Rex should arrive before Navis to keep their friendly rivalry, she and Cybersix should be next since they were going head to head, I'm not sure who arrives first though.
>>
>>90615050
First place for the third leg goes to Pym. That was decided on and rather necessary since there's a secret prize for first place: a bag of stand jawbreakers.

So second place would be Hex since he's riding in the same car.

That'd probably piss Rex off. I think he'll do better on the next leg of the race since his vehicle is so versatile and also because he's not stopping to mess around with island monsters.
>>
>>90615713
Vince and Jack also need to arrive among the top 30 if he's going to use the portable hole in the final fight against the Wizard.

Should Sam and Max be in the first 30 places? the whole clusterfuck in Springfield must have delayed them a lot.
>>
>>90616775
They made up for lost time somehow, probably by not stopping to sleep or anything.

It's how they're right up there with Navis and Cybersix.
They are now in it to win it for the Wishing Star.
>>
So right now it's
1 - Pym
2 - Hex
3 - Rex
4 - ???

The labyrinth really screwed up who would've been first.

>He turns on the radio next to his bed and falls asleep listening to it
>“…But let’s take a break from the race-related news, fellow listeners. Here in K-OLD, your oldies station, it's time for a walk down memory lane with your longtime host, me *static noises* Destiny"
>The voice startles Goofy, who opens his eyes and gets up. He's no longer in the hotel room, but in an outlandish landscape
>“ I must say that this place is fascinating, there are hints everywhere that indicate that it used to look different until a certain…event” Doctor Destiny appears before him flanked by his Stand
>Goofy: I don’t think you are here just to watch the scenery in my noggin. What do you want?
>Dr. Destiny: What do you think we want? It seems that you stumbled upon something, something very valuable to us
>Goofy: Eeyup, I found a piece of the corpse in the desert, it
>Dr. Destiny: And you didn't report it immediately. I wonder why…
>Goofy: You think I'll try to double-cross ya?
>Dr. Destiny: That’s no outside the realm of possibilities, some down on his luck chump finds an artifact of great power, decides that it should be his and no one else's...
>Goofy: Listen pal, I made a deal with Nobody and I will uphold the part of that deal
>Dr. Destiny: …and runs away with the artifact stuffed in his leg
>Goofy: Ok, I know it looks weird but…
>Dr. Destiny: Luckily for you, Mr. Nobody has decided that the Hero’s leg will remain in you possession until further notice, that way the hunt of the remaining corpse parts will be much easier for you
>Goofy: “Gwarsh, the president really said that?”
>Dr. Destiny: Yeah, you are quite fortunate. Who knows, perhaps you were spared of your family’s shitty luck
>Goofy reacts with anger at Destiny’s words and the muscles in his leg begin to grow

cont.
>>
>>90619104
>Dr. Destiny: Christ! That thing looks ridiculous!
>Goofy walks toward Destiny with the clear intention of attacking him
>Dr. Destiny: Oh please, that won’t work, not here
>Goofy kicks Destiny in the face with his super leg but as the kick connect with him, Goofy awakes. He smashed the radio with his leg
>>
>>90619104
>>90619137
I'm not sure if that works better before or after Chameleon's death.
>>
>>90619837
There is no mention of chameleon's death in the exchange, so it works both ways
>>
>>90619895
The events of CN City seem to happen over the course of 2 days.

The day the racers arrive has Rorschach meeting V, Pym getting drunk and meeting Tom and also getting told to keep his mouth shut by Rorschach, and Hex VS Frank.

Day 2 has Chameleon sick Watt on Pym, Hex and Pym beating both Watt and the Chameleon, Tom beating up Chameleon, Chameleon being killed by OMD, and Don Karnage arriving in the city to take the racers to the next staging point.
>>
>>90620011
Then it could take place at the end of day one or when the racers board the Iron Vulture.
>>
>>90620094
Maybe when they board the Iron Vulture is where it would work best.

That way we'll have already had the Chameleon's flashback on the second day and everything will be in place to firmly link Goofy to the Dada Party.

It also works best there since they've had to eliminate one of their guys in the race who was supposed to be doing a similar job Goofy is doing, so now there's more pressure on him (and also Aunt May) to pick up the slack.
>>
>>90620297
Who gets his face stolen by Chameleon after he receives the warning from Aunt May?
>>
>>90621220
I think it was a hotel maid.

He can't just leave faceless bodies lying around everywhere.
>>
>>90621716
So after he gets the ultimatum, the maid knocks on his door and he tricks the maid into believing he is her reflection, his Stand removes her face and Chameleon locks the faceless body in the room.
>>
>>90621966
Gets the box of cookies, has the flashback to the oval office, then the maid knocks on the door.

How much of him doing the mirror trick should we show?
Will he try it on Pym or Hex?
>>
>>90622600
He just stands in front of the door as the maid opens it, she falls for the trick immediately and Chameleon's Stand takes her face, then Chameleon (now with the maid's face) drags her into the room.
>>
>>90622853
So is he wearing a maid uniform when Tom fights him, or did he ditch that costume when he loses the maid's face during the fight?
>>
>>90623636
He ditched it, Both Hex and Tom make comments about his blank face when they meet, and Chameleon claims that he needs a new disguise when he's in the bar.
>>
Threads are sinking super fast tonight.

>>90623880
Alright. So we need to work in how his disguise gets blown during the fight.

But stepping back a little to before the race to CN City has concluded, any further ideas there?
>>

>Pym tries to read it and the car seemingly burst into flames

>Pym follows the order and ask Hex what the hell just happened
>As he says this, they hear the cars crashing against a barricade that was ahead of their road
>>
>>90626195
I was thinking more along the lines of the whole Dick Dastardly and Wander stuff we still need to figure out.
>>
>>90626737
Dick is gonna get in a fight with Mojo, right? Their fight could carve a safe path that Wander takes.
>>
>>90604778

>Hex: “Alright, Pym, try reading the narrative again, ya got maybe 30 seconds.”

>The car seemingly burst into flames
>Hex snaps his fingers and Pym turns the wheel to the left
>He looks around and sees the construction site a third crane is located in, Pym speeds into it and into the massive pipes attached to it just as they begin to rise

>Other racers are now chasing Dick around the city block they have to navigate as a bypass
>Dick is swerving and making his Mean Machine jump at places
>Some racers end up getting stuck in tar and wet cement
>Dick is laughing like a mad man in his Mean Machine when a laser shoots over him
>He looks in his rear view mirror and sees a rabid green chimpanzee wearing a tall helmet in a glass dome on top of a robot with wheels
>A narration box appears reading ‘Mojo Jojo – Supervillain, Scientist, Cook’
>Dick turns back to look with his own eyes in a double take, just in time to see missiles coming his way
>Dick spins his wheel and dodges them, then turns around again, Mojo is still right where he was
>Dick: “Hmm, not as much fun as the full body stocking man.”
>Another missile goes flying by him followed up by lasers, this time however Dick is distracted
>We watch the missile pass by him in slow motion and see that Wander and Sylvia are riding it
>Sylvia is screaming and crying while Wander is riding it like a bull
>Dick’s momentary lapse in focus allows a laser to hit the rear of his car, making him spin out and crash into the side of a building, right through the display window of some clothing shop
>Dick pokes his head up from beneath a pile of clothes, now with a fancy hat for ladies on top of his head as he stares in the direction of what just happened
cont.
>>
>>90628464
>Muttley also pokes his head up wearing a floppy hat and a pearl necklace, he does the feminine blink then snickers at Dick’s misfortune

>At the finish line
>TOM: “Rex is fast approaching, his wall driving strategy paid off!”

>Rover shoots out of the pipe still suspended in mid air
>Pym kept momentum by spinning around the inside the pipe as it rose to position, then speeding out of it when it was angled right
>Rover overtakes Rex and claims first

Last part is still notes, don't have time right now, but wanted to post something since threads are sinking in under an hour.
>>
>>90618778
I noticed that the Wizard was 3rd place in the first checkpoint, and 4th in the second, should we keep the tendency of him falling one place each time?
>>
>>90629970
Yeah. That sounds like it would be a good idea.

Give the Wizard even more anger and self-doubt over his identity.

So Jack takes 4th?
>>
>>90631340
Ok, though it would be Vince, Jack isn't part of the race. Who should take 6th and 7th place? Wander and Sylvia or Navis followed by Cybersix?

Also, Aunt May could be right after Chameleon, hinting that she was following him.
>>
>>90632390
Vince is Jack.
Jack (Vince) is riding with Jack (beard, many threads on /co/ right now of him, high excitement).

So
4 - Jack
5 - The Wizard
6 - Wander
7 - Sylvia
8 - Navis
9 - Cybersix
10 - Sam
11 - Max
12 - Mojo Jojo
>>
If Jack and Vince are trying to lay low, would placing well be in their best interest?
>>
>>90636588
You are right, though TOM already told to all the audience that Vince has a new partner
>>
>>90637478
Hmm, well, they avoid the cameras then.
>>
>>90633187
Dick probably ranked 20th or 30th depending on how fast he can recover from the crash.
Robotman and Crazy Jane were below the 20th place in the previous stages, they could remain there or climb up in the rank (the opposite of the Wizard's situation)
>>
>>90644893
How about Dick ranks somewhere around 26th this time?

I think if he ever does rank in the top ten he should be pissed about it because it'd happen by pure accident on the fault of another racer stopping just short of the finish line.
Might make him hate the Fat Controller.
>>
Is there any other significant racer that hasn't been assigned a place in the third leaderboard?

>>90645877
>Dick was put in the race to make it more interesting
>Fat Controller was put in the race to make it more profitable

Gambling houses.

>>
>>90622600

Yes, but unlike the rest of his victims Hex stops to think and realizes that Chameleon's disguises should be mirrored if he wants to trick him, preventing the Stand from stealing his face.
>>
>>90653340
And there's where the symmetry line comes into place after Hex shoots Chameleon's fake face off.
>>
Maybe during the fight with Watt when the Chameleon is trying to steal a face, he's inside a shop behind a window.
>>
>>90653330
He might have entered the race for his own benefit, but his actions are also benefiting the gambling houses around the world, so they are contacting him during the race.

The robot is supposed to be an experimental, heavy-duty version of the Mk. III electric nightmares from part 6; it could have the ability to release small bursts of electricity and generate an electric field around him: As a trump card, he could have a large tesla cannon built inside it that has the drawback of consuming a lot of energy.
>>
>>90664065
Pym part of Pym's growing pacing abilities, he would point out how inefficient it is and how the battery can't support that kind of load.

>Hex and Pym fight Watt’s giant robot for a while, they realize is a bad idea to face it in close quarters after it makes use of his electric attacks
>Watt reveals the robot’s tesla cannon, boasts that one shot is enough to wipe them out
>They barely manage to dodge the shot/block it with something. Watt readies a second shot with the spare energy
>Pym points out how such powerful weapon must eat up ludicrous amounts of energy and there’s no way that the robot’s power supply could support it
>After he says that, the Metal Crusher suffers an outage and start leaking energy. Hex and Pym take the opportunity and retreat
>Watt unveils another one of the robot’s abilities, the ability to drain electricity from nearby power sources
>As the Metal Crusher chases Hex and Pym, it hunts down power sources to replenish his battery, causing blackouts across the city
>Pym continually points out the perceived deficiencies of the robot’s design, which become notorious and hinders its advance
>Hex takes advantage of the robot’s weakened state and disrupts the robot with his shots, prying off his armor and revealing a weak point
>The Metal Crusher finally corners Hex and Pym. It’s now tapping into the city’s power grid causing a city-wide blackout
>The robot prepares its tesla cannon for another shot, but Hex and Pym shoots the tank of pillar propane into its weak point, destroying the robot
>>
>>90666166
Missing key things.
>Hex takes advantage of the robot’s weakened state and disrupts the robot with his shots, prying off his armor and revealing a weak point
Chameleon needs to enter here to try to assist Watt.

He appears in a window or something trying to pretend to be Hex's reflection to steal his face.

Chameleon should probably do more during the fight than that.
>>
>>90666362
>Chameleon should probably do more during the fight than that

>>
>>90666450
At first he shows up as the maid, a bystander who they have to save and later refuses to get the fuck out of the way making their lives difficult.

Then he switches tactics to face stealing.
>>
>>90666805
When he attempts to steal Hex' face, it could look like his trick worked: Hex remains motionless staring at Chameleon and the Stand leaps at Hex, getting ready to remove his face, then Hex unholster his gun and shoots Chameleon in the face.

Also, who was going to be the maid?
>>
>>90668737
I thought the Chameleon's stand was like the D'Arby brothers' stands, so if you don't get your face back soon enough, you're dead. Your body just wastes away as a shell, dying from starvation or thirst, like a coma patient without life support.
>>
>>90669438
According to the doc, the victims become brain dead. The last part is an unused idea:
>The person from whom the face was stolen now has a blank area where their face was, and are essential brain dead. The user is also able to place faces on these blank people, essentially transferring their consciousness from one body to another. As a last resort, Smerdyakov can have 「ELEANOR RIGBY」place his own face on another body, allowing him to live another day.
>>
>>90670013
So that maid is fuckin' dead.

He could've also placed faces of other people onto the blanked faced bodies to really screw with them, but it wouldn't be all that useful.
>>
>>90662860
So his performance will decline right after he starts collecting the fragments of Daffy's identity.

Will Pym and Hex keep their lucky streak until the South american stage?
>>
>>90668737
Oh, wait, "was going to be".

I read that wrong.

I don't think we had a maid in mind.
>>

No, Pym and Hex are also not even in the top 30 for the Paris checkpoint because of Scud and DAVE.

They arrive super early at the Robot Town checkpoint, but Cybersix still beats them and claims first since she know where the town was to begin with.

From how I understand it, if he places the face on a body, then he loses control over it.

He can't make a face he puts on a blank body do anything that the person the face is wouldn't do.

If he wears the face, he assumes their identity, but if he places the face on a blank faced body, he gives up all control over that identity.

Or at least that's what I think it means based on the description.

Really, a person with that ability could live until they get killed and also keep anyone else alive until they get killed.
It's a frightful power, but the Chameleon is only using it to assuming identities.

So, I just remembered we were talking about having a Temple of Doom reference in the part somewhere since we already have references to all the other films.

So, we've got old Jack in this. Old Jack has a gun which he can reach for at one point and it won't be there causing him to go full sword.

>>90680156
Yeah, that's good.

Shit still seems to go downhill once they arrive to South America (among other things, Hex dies and they lose all the corpse parts). Pym could barely reach the finish line in Cape Suzette before the time limit.
>>
>>90680828
Revisions since have placed Hex's death after they arrive at Cape Suzette, which is when Hex loses the eye and is killed.

Pym could lose the ribs in Rio.

Forgoing the table for now

>TOM: “And now a word from President Mr. Nobody.”
>Mr. Nobody: “Well done to one and all who have made it this far, you’ve successfully completed phase one of the race! Take some time to rest, recharge, recuperate, and whatever it is you do. If you want to keep going, then be at the ports tomorrow afternoon around four. Now, let’s see those prizes!”
>TOM: “This leg of the race is sponsored by ACME, here with us is their representative and vice president, Tuffy Mouse”
>A small gray mouse wearing a suit is on screen now, the microphone is bigger than he is
>A narration box appears reading ‘Tuffy Mouse, a.k.a. Nibbles – Vice President of ACME, Slayer of Demons, Cheese Connoisseur’
>Tuffy: “Thank you TOM. Today we have a special prize for those of you who managed to rank in the top 20. It comes straight from the top of ACME himself.”
>Tuffy opens up a box and pulls out a round black rubber looking thing
>Tuffy: “The ACME portable hole!”
>He slaps the hole onto a solid brick wall behind him and a hole is formed in it
>Tuffy: “As you can see, these allow you to make a hole in anything, anywhere, instantly! We’re giving them out in sets of five. Use them wisely though, once you place a hole, you won’t be able to reuse it.”

>The top 20 racers head up to get their prize
>TOM exits the announcing booth and is greeted by Serenity, who was waiting for him
>Serenity: “Strange how that Bob guy decided to abandon the race all of a sudden, do you think he just got bored?”
>TOM: “No, someone probably got rid of him.”
>Serenity: “You think so?”
>TOM: “He had the lead, so the other racers had every motive to take him out. Or it might’ve been an old enemy of his who came back for revenge, or even a fight over something totally unrelated.” We see Goofy walking up to the stage in the background “It’s what my gut tells me anyway.”
>Serenity, jokingly “You don’t have guts, TOM.”

>TOM: “That’s not what I-” he’s cut short by Serenity kissing him on what would be his cheek

>>90687405
Goofy may hear it through the grapevine.

I really wish we had a stand called that so we could constantly say that throughout the part and then reveal near the end that it actually was someone's stand.
Maybe we can do that in part 8.
>>
/co/ continues to move faster than usual.
>>
>>90687869

>>90687913
Maybe they are in the same place at one point and Goofy eavesdrop the conversation between Vince and Jack, making him leave the place inmediatly. Then he keeps ending up in the same place as them and Goofy believes that he's being chased, but Jack is unaware of Goofy's presence or his involvement with the theft of the corpse part.
>>
>>90691162
I didn't want Dick to have access to portable holes.

>>
>>90691226
>So Goofy overhears them while they discuss their plans?
Yes, perhaps in a restaurant, and when Goofy hears about the corpse part he breaks whatever he was holding.
>>
>>90691620
Oh, how about in a car repair place? Vince and Jack go there to get a sidecar fitted for Jack's bike and Goofy is there trying to get some repairs done to his jalopy.
>>
Since neither Jack nor Vince can see stands, Goofy could use his to keep running away from them.

>>90692011
Does that mean that his car will remain damaged?
>>
>>90692390
He might leave it there while the repairs are being done as he tries to get away from Jack and Vince.

They don't know he has the leg, he knows they don't know he has the leg, but he also knows they're looking for it and if they're looking for it they must have a way to detect it.
>>
>>90691226
So the rank for rewards of the following stages will also shrink? because the prize in the cruiser is for the first 25 places

>I didn't want Dick to have access to portable holes
He might not even need them, or he spends them all for his traps in Europe.
>>
>>90694885
I'm pretty sure it's been the first 20 for San Fransokyo and Aberdale, so it makes sense it'd be the first 20 for CN City as well.

Though the number of racers who get the checkpoint prize is dependent on the sponsor.
It's been the top 20 up to now, but a sponsor could decide up to the top 100 to give a prize to if they so desired.
>>
>>90693254
>they must have a way to detect it
Should it be some object Jack carries around or guarding the corpse part for so long allows him to sense its presence?

>"I can't believe you don't see eye to eye with me on this!"
>"You're gonna need a whole lot more than nine inch shoes to get eye to eye with me, little gal pal."

Pym takes him up on the handshake as he continues “I’m here on behalf of the president to congratulate you on placing first and also to inform you that you’ll be receiving an additional prize some time before the next leg of the race begins. Please look forward to it.”
>Pym: “Huh, an additional prize?”
>Hex: “Who are you talkin’ to?”
>Pym: “Wait… where’d he go?”
>Mirror Master is seen in the reflection of a window to the side of Pym as he loosens his suit and walks away

>Pan over to Vince who just got his box of holes and we see Jack waiting for him
>Vince: “So, how about we get your bike a sidecar?”
>Jack: “I know of a place.”
>Vince: “Been here before?”
>Jack: “Yes, many years ago.”

>We pan away from this scene of busy streets and excitement to focus on a red haired man walking into a quiet alleyway
>As he does so he pulls out a mask with ink blots on the front
>A narration box appears reading ‘Kovacs, a.k.a. Rorschach – Investigator’
>Rorschach whispers “Commandos of Confusion careening about the corridors of CN City.”
>Silence
>Then a swirl of wind as a Guy Fawkes mask materializes on one of the alleyway walls
>Rorschach: “Hello, V, let’s swap info.”
>A narration box appears reading ‘V – Alliteration aficionado, Investigator, Independent Stand’
Not sure how much of this conversation is needed or if I can just cut to the auto garage here.
>>
>>90714858
Should it reveal right away that V is a Stand?

>Not sure how much of this conversation is needed
Depends of how much will Rorschach explain to Pym when they meet in the bar, it could be just a rundown of the weird shit that happened in the course of the race.
>>
>>90715064
I don't see why not. V has been appearing everywhere throughout the part so far. It's not like this the first time we, the audience, see him.
>>
They next scenes in the notes feel disjointed.

>Scene at an auto garage where Goofy overhears Jack and Vince talking (I have this written out already)
>Focus on Mojo Jojo who feels he's being watched, maybe have a wanted poster of him with Frank face as Hex follows him around
>They pass a bar, zoom to inside, Pym is getting drunk and talking to Tom (not shown), this par is mostly already written
>Rorschach warns him not to talk about that, but the Chameleon has already overheard enough and is making phone calls
>Refocus on Hex who is noting more and more Frank face until Frank appears trying to frank someone in the Dada Party
>Hex and Frank duel, Frank is killed, leaves a warning to hex that more is going on with Nobody than anybody knows or something
End day one in CN City.

Getting all of that to mesh well together is my current objective.
>>
>>90716235
I thought he being a Stand was going to be a surprise for when he's seemingly killed by Stardust during the climax.
>>
>>90718980
Huh? How would that be a surprise?

The surprise is that Stardust was able to kill him despite him being a stand with no owner.

Maybe Mojo was in the same garage as Goofy and Jack, and Hex stops chasing Mojo when he spots Frank in a crowd.
>>
>>90720820
That could work. I guess Hex follows Frank as he's prepping his attack on whoever.
>>
>>90714858
>Some time passes
>Jack and Vince are at an auto garage
>Jack’s bike is currently being fitted for a sidecar, the garage right next to them has a beat up jalopy raised up as a mechanic looks it over while Goofy is leaning against the wall
>Jack: “And then he said ‘It looks like you like it in pink’.”
>Both Jack and Vince begin laughing
>Jack: “I later learned Johnny was a master of the art of STYLE as well as sharing a mutual friend in Mr. Hill.”
>Vince picks up the Strickland handbook “No kidding? So there’s actually something to this?”
>Jack: “Yes.” Jack becomes more serious “If we are to succeed in preventing the assembly of the hero’s corpse, you must learn this technique for your own safety.”
>On the other side of the wall, Goofy’s eyes have opened wide and he’s broken out in a cold sweat
>Vince: “Where should we begin looking?”

This is where I'm having trouble with the pacing. Goofy needs to do something here, something loud and obvious like fall down a manhole while trying to get away from them.

Then it needs to pan over to Mojo, but I have no idea what he should be doing.

Then we're in the bar.

I'm lacking ideas for transitions since the focus is pinging all over the place before it finally settles down on Pym and Hex.

>Across the street we see Mojo Jojo walking, he passes by a street pole with a wanted posted of himself on it, only it has Frank face
>Mojo keeps spinning around looking behind him

>Put some long stream of stupid Mojo talk here

>Hex steps out from a doorway and continues tailing Mojo
>The doorway he stepped out of was a bar, we zoom inside
>We see Pym sitting at the bar counter with a large mug of something raised in the air and a loud “Cheers!” rings through the place
>Pym drinks deeply, and by the looks of him he’s been drinking for a while now before we focused on him
>He continues talking to some stranger sitting next to him who we only see the arm of "I mean... have you heard s-sumthing as ludi-ludi… bullshit like sum dead guy that grants superpowers?”
>Stranger: "People that talk to themselves..."
>Pym: "Uh, say what?"
>Stranger: "Just watch your back, kiddo."
>The stranger puts down an empty glass, gets up out of his seat and walks away
>Pym shrugs and is able to take another swig of his drink when someone wraps an elbow around his head and drags him off his seat “We need to talk!”
>The new stranger drags him into a broom closet “You need to cut that shit out, dumbass."
>Pym: “Who the hell…?”
>The light gets flicked on and we see it’s Rorschach
>Rorschach: “Talking about the hero’s corpse is a good way to get yourself killed or worse.”
>Pym: “Wha…? It’s just sum made up dumb crap.”

Gatlocke's droids aren't that strong.

They fight a war together in that stage.

There is also this, but there are less chances to dodge the attack (and it might be overkill)
>>
>>90744443
Not sure how that'd work even with bullshit narrative manipulating powers over the range we're talking about here.
>>
>>90745901
It could become a fireball, the problem is how the hell Hex would stop that thing. The sawblade, on the other hand, can be knocked with his bullets.
>>
>>90746237
If there's a water tower or one of those huge water containers that are sometimes on top of buildings, Hex could shoot that to make the fire ball get dowsed and fizzle out long before it reaches its target.

With pacing, Hex might be able to predict the angle and whatnot enough to pull that off, but it'd be difficult to convey in text form.
>>
>>90746346
When he reach the top of the building, he could see the image of the burning blimp imposed over the real one. The use of Pacing could be portrayed as Hex aiming at the tank and shooting it several times (each shot with a different angle and result) before the real shot.
>>
So, are we going to use the crossbow, flamethrower or something else?
>>
>>90749168
Possibly both.

>>90747352
I'm still not clear on how pacing really works, but I'll go with this.
>>
>>90749244
So he's burning through his whole arsenal during the fight? He could remote control his Battle Van to try to run over Hex and to retrieve the rest of his weapons, including the chainsaw launcher.
>>
>>90750064
Alright.

So sniper fire ball launcher, first attempt on Nobody's blimp.
Foiled by Hex shooting a big water tank at the right spot to get the right angle for the water to waken it enough so it fails to reach.

Show down across rooftops. Frank pulls out the buzz saw cross bow, Hex has to shoot the spinning blades out of mid air as they both race down their respective buildings.

Street battle. Frank summons his battle van and Hex has to jump out of the way.
Frank gets his rocket propelled chainsaw.

Should he get some rounds off before Hex disrupts it?

It blows up in Frank's face and Hex, not missing the opportunity, unloads into him.

Cue dying words.

Maybe Hex gets a bonus from the Dada Party on top of the bounty in compensation for wanting to keep this conflict hush hush? Usually something like this would bolster Hex's reputation, but not this time.

The first fight with Durge in Clone Wars comes to mind with the idea of Frank pulling one weapon after another https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6LeL3s4Q80

>>90750727
If the crossbow is like in its source material, the blades can ricochet, forcing Hex to keep an eye on them as they keep bouncing around him (and he could take advantage of this and hit Frank with one of them).

>Cue dying words
Before the launcher blows up, Hex compliments on Frank's skill to make weapons through disruptions and says that he will pick up the trick (even if he wouldn't use it during the story)

Should he use more weapons during the fight?
>>
>>90751223
I think we have enough bullshit weapons for this fight. Anymore and it'll become too cluttered.

I don't think I'll get to the fight tonight though since I'm still hoping for help where I left off at.

>Vince: Oh, these two...
>Sam: Jack, long time no see!
>Jack: I'm sorry, have we meet before?
>Sam: Sir, I don't know you and I'm not interested in knowing you
>Jack: Then why did you called me?
>Vince: He's talking with...
>Max: Jack, what are you doing with that hobo?
>Vince: He is not...
>Jack: Are you a hobo, Vince?
>Vince: No, eh...they are talking about you, you are the hobo
>Max: Yeah, leave Jack alone
>Jack: But, I'm Jack
>Sam: We are talking to our Jack
>Jack: Your Jack?
>Vince: That's me
>Jack: You are "their" Jack?
>Vince: Yes...wait, no! I'm not theirs!
>Jack: Who is their Jack then?
>Max: Get out, Jack, go touch yourself or something
>Vince: What?
>>
>>90752730
I think I share Vince's confusion in following what Max said.
>>
At one point, the names should be changed to "Frank" as Punisher's rhythm saturates the area.
>>
>>90753628
And then Hex manages to shake it off?

As they keep dueling, more and more things have Frankface and are referred as "Frank"; even Hex is victim of that, falling into Frank's pace and becoming an easy target, but he manages to overcome it and push back, proceeding to destabilize the chainsaw launcher.
>>
>>90755608
Frank can't Frank Hex's Frank because his Frank is already Franked, so Frank fails to Frank it.

It's around this time V is freaking out.
>>
Maybe Hex snaps out of the Frank face when he remembers something silly or dumb Pym did.
>>
>>90755879
Frank's invasive pace makes V spasm all over the place chanting "Frank Frank Frank" endlessly

>Also, Big Skeleton is already dead, so saying the effect won't end until the user is killed is stupid. Until he's defeated or cancels the effect would be better.

That's basically what it means, the wording of "until the user is killed" was a bit iffy when talking about a sentient skeleton, so I understand the confusion.

>>90494792

NICE.

>"Looks like I'm in quite a pickle"

Fuckin kek, good job.
>>
>>90757404
Right, I still need to work in a briefing with Navis in CN City where that flashback of Strickland recovering Big Skeleton can happen.

>>90757334
Background event or cutaway?
>>
>>90757619
The briefing could take place along with the retrieval of Watt's Metal Crusher, or after Chameleon is killed.

>Background event or cutaway?
Cutaway, perhaps when Frank's pace reaches full force
>>
>>90752730
I might tweak this a little so Max doesn't announce his (her) presence until the line about the nine inches and Jack (Vince) takes that opportunity to disappear with Jack before he can see what Max is talking about.
>>
Stitch all this together.

>Sam and Max are in a shop by the sidewalk Vince and Jack are walking down
>Vince: “Oh, these two...”
>Sam: “Jack, long time no see!”
>Jack: “I am sorry, have we met before?”
>Sam: “Sir, I don't know you and I'm not interested in knowing you.”
>Jack: “Then why did you call me?”
>Vince: “He's talking to...”
>Max: “Jack, what are you doing with that hobo?”
>Vince: “He’s not...”
>Jack: “Are you a hobo, Vince?”
>Vince: “No, eh… they are talking about you, you are the hobo.”
>Max is busy rummaging around inside the shop “Yeah, leave Jack alone.”
>Jack: “But, I am Jack.”
>Sam: “We are talking to our Jack.”
>Jack: “Your Jack?”
>Vince: “That's me.”
>Jack: “You are ‘their’ Jack?”
>Vince: “Yes… wait, no! I'm not theirs!”
>Jack: “Who is their Jack then?”
>Max excitedly exits the shop breaking the never ending confusion with new confusion “Sam! You've got to see this! It's nine and a half inches of pure heaven!”
>Vince and Jack exchange looks and begin to inch away
>Sam puts a hand over his (her) face and grimaces “Oh, Jeeze, Max, I really don't want to-” Sam peaks between his (her) fingers “Oh. High heels.”
>Max: “Finally, a fashionable way to both induce puncture wounds, and get onto the roller coaster at Love Land!”
>Sam: “Oh no. We're not going through that fiasco again.”
>Max: “I can't believe you don't see eye to eye with me on this!”
>Sam: “You're gonna need a whole lot more than nine inch shoes to get eye to eye with me, little gal pal.”
>Max: “Hey, where’d your boyfriend go?”
>Sam: “He’s not my-… wait, Jack?”
>Sam looks around until he (she) spots Vince turning the corner of the block with Jack
>Max: “Did he… exchange us for a hobo?”

It's nice when I don't have to write out everything and can copypaste.
From here we're switching to Frank prepping his Frankanation attempt. I guess that's for tomorrow.
>>
We seem to have hit bump limit with this post.
A rather inconvenient time to do so.

I've already updated doc 7 and got my offline copy saved.

Next thread we need to focus on getting CN City further along and then we can focus on Pym developing his stand on the trip to Fantastic Island aboard the Iron Vulture.
>>
Right, well I'm not going to be awake when this thread drops off, so someone else should make a new one.

If no one makes a new one and it ends up falling to me to make it, then I'm not making a new thread until Sunday.

If all else fails, at least make an effort to coordinate in the plus4chan thread.
