No, Roy is actually a really cool guy.
If you read his stuff, he's heavily against abusive-feminism, and he's one of the legendary comic book writers that's actually really easy to get in contact with.

He's probably the first fanboy to make a career out of writing, and will go down in history of Stan Lee's right hand man, and successor.

He loved what he did, and managed to make a prosperous career out of it.
